Comcast customers can call customer service directly to make a payment arrangement or they have the option of signing into their online account to complete this action on their own. Customers who choose to call Comcast will need to be the primary account holder or account holders who have privileges when it comes to payments. Either method will allow a customer to reschedule a bill or make a partial payment. Customers who choose to make payment arrangements online can select this option under billing and submit the changes after they look them over.
We all have to pay bills. Sometimes doing so may require us to do a bit of a juggling act. Comcast/Xfinity customers may find themselves in this position at one time or another. Fortunately, customers who find themselves in this position may have some flexibility when it comes to paying their bills.
Call Comcast Customer Service
Perhaps one of the easiest ways to make payment arrangements is to call Comcast customer service. You will need to be an account holder with privileges regarding payments in order to complete this action, however. Otherwise, the primary account holder or someone with more authoritative privileges will need to make this call. The customer service representative will collect information from you to make payment arrangements that are mutually acceptable.
Make Payment Arrangements Online
You can also log into your Comcast account and make payment arrangements by following the navigations prompts. Login to My Account and select Make a Payment. You will see the payment details listed. You have the option of paying off the entire balance or just a portion. You can then select the payment date. You have the option to schedule payments up to 60-days or two months in advance if you already have a stored payment method. Customers can only use this option if they have set up an online account. If you don't have one, set one up so that this option is available to you. The ability to schedule payments sixty days out will only be available to patrons who already have a saved payment method as well.
Other Considerations
Comcast addresses a late fee if a bill is not paid thirty days after an agreed-upon due date. This something that Comcast customers should keep in mind when making payment arrangements.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department.
