I am an active eighty-two-year-old resident who has been coping with a building elevator replacement for almost two months. To avoid the inconvenience, I turned to Instacart for grocery delivery. Unfortunately, the young staff neglected my instructions, shopped from stores I did not specify, and brought items I did not request. The constant phone calls pressuring me to buy additional unrelated items made the experience frustrating. The only bright spot was a young woman who delivered my items cheerfully. I recently canceled my membership and was still billed without receiving a refund. I am now being told I can't cancel because I used the service. I wasn't aware that using the service required a membership, as I thought anyone could use it by paying fees, not a membership. Paying $99 for a service where I am still charged delivery and additional fees, along with a hold on my money without my knowledge, has caused significant issues. I placed an order today and specifically requested NO SUBSTITUTES for three cases of 35 each 16.9 oz bottles of Crystal Geyser Spring Water Alpine Spring natural. When ordering, it was indicated online by Insta Cart that the items were in stock. However, three cases of 24 each 16.9 oz bottles of Aquafina were delivered instead. If I wanted chemically purified water, I would simply turn on my faucet. Unfortunately, and no fault of theirs, the shopper was unable to contact me about the substitute. I would like either the water replaced with the correct items or a refund issued.

I placed an order at Fred Meyer on July 6th. Unfortunately, the items delivered were not what I ordered. I've been attempting to contact Instacart multiple times regarding this issue with no success. I'm quite upset that I was charged $69 instead of the correct amount of $54 and wondering how unauthorized items were included in my order. I received someone else's order which is of no use to me. I'm requesting a full refund for the undelivered order as well as the $11 unauthorized charge from my Wells Fargo account. I had to reorder on July 7th due to this mix-up. If this isn't resolved, I will involve my bank as it could be considered fraudulent. Also, I need guidance on what to do with the incorrect order delivered to me instead of mine.

My account has been restricted for refunds, despite the issue not being the fault of the shopper. On July 16, [redacted], I was overcharged for 8 green beans instead of one. I contacted customer service and spoke with Moses in the Atlanta call center, who was disrespectful once he saw my restrictions. He even refused to provide contact information. I also received an email denying my refund request.

I placed an order for groceries on the 10th which amounted to $86.11. Shortly after, another lady arrived with a duplicate order costing around $35, which I did not request. I asked for a refund. Then on the 14th, while I was hospitalized, I was charged an additional $99 for groceries I didn't order or receive. I am an employee at Fry's grocery store in Prescott, AZ, store #[redacted]. Recently, an Instacart representative shopped for a customer, but encountered issues at checkout. The barcode on the order was not valid, leading to payment problems. Despite attempts to resolve it, the order was left abandoned in an aisle, costing $[redacted].51, including perishables. I recently had an issue with my Instacart membership. I mistakenly thought I was inquiring about KROGER's delivery prices. Upon reviewing my bank statement, I noticed a charge of $9.99 for a membership that I did not authorize.
