Can I use Roku without an internet connection?

Asked a year ago
No, an internet connection is required to use Roku. Roku streaming devices are designed to provide access to a vast array of streaming content through various channels and apps. Without an internet connection, Roku cannot download or stream any content. Additionally, Roku devices need an internet connection for initial setup, software updates, and to link with user accounts. However, Roku does provide an offline feature called "Hotel & Dorm Connect" that enables users to connect to Roku devices in places where internet access requires a web browser-based login, such as hotels or dorms. But without an internet connection, the full functionality and benefits of Roku streaming devices cannot be realized.
