How do I do a hard shut down to my kindle e reader? It is frozen, and I’ve held down the restart button and it still will not go completely dark, and give me options.
To perform a hard shutdown on your Kindle e-reader, press and hold the power button for 40 seconds or more. The screen should go blank and the device will power off. If the device remains unresponsive, you might need to try this process multiple times.

How do I recover my reading streak
Unfortunately, Kindle does not currently offer a way to manually recover a reading streak if it is lost. However, to help maintain your streak in the future, make sure your Kindle is connected to Wi-Fi regularly to sync your reading data.

The words in the book cannot be read. The words are all over the page.
This could be due to a formatting issue in the eBook. Try restarting your Kindle device. If the problem continues, you may want to delete the book and re-download it from your Kindle Library to see if that resolves the issue.
