I am seeking a refund for an eBay purchase due to several discrepancies. The item, a GeForce GTX [redacted] Zotac Mini Graphics Card, was listed by "iugb5tf13yjb" for an unusually low price of GBP 30, compared to its market value of GBP [redacted]. Shortly after my payment, the listing was removed. Inconsistently, the seller's eBay ID does not match the one on my PayPal payment, which was received by "[redacted]" attributed to Aaron C. Littlejohn. The transaction was initiated on December 13, [redacted], claiming to ship from China and arrive by the second week of February. Recognizing these red flags, I am opting to cancel this suspicious transaction and request a full refund promptly.

I recently received an email from eBay that featured a costume of a suggestive nature, which is completely irrelevant to my interests or previous purchases. As a female recipient, I find this type of content inappropriate and offensive. I want to stress that no one else has access to my devices or internet connection. I urge eBay to review and refine their email marketing strategies to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. As a disabled USAF Veteran, I am disappointed by this oversight.

I want to share my experience regarding a seller on eBay with the username gtwsmurf. They listed an original iPhone XS Max (item# [redacted]39) for sale. I purchased the item, and the seller claimed to have issues with eBay payments, requesting payment directly through PayPal to transfer the product to me. I sent $[redacted] to the PayPal account of Maleek Somersall ([redacted]) with Transaction ID 1C609642YX786425B. However, I have not received the product or a tracking number despite promises made. The PayPal transaction occurred on 8/12/[redacted]. I request assistance from eBay to refund my $[redacted]. I would like to address an issue regarding an item for which I opened a case as I had not received it. The item number is [redacted]16. The case was closed based on information from the Post Office stating that the item was delivered. However, I reside in a large senior community with a shared mailbox system, and the item was actually delivered to the wrong mailbox. This caused unnecessary delays especially since many residents are away during the winter months, and I would have had to wait until spring to receive it. I urge the platform to not automatically assume delivery without proper verification. The customer service experience I had was not satisfactory, and I feel frustrated by the handling of this situation. I hope for better practices in the future to prevent such incidents and continue to provide a reliable service to customers like myself.

I recently purchased an iPhone 6 through eBay with free delivery. However, during the checkout process, there was an unexpected $15 delivery charge added on the final step, which I did not select. Despite contacting the seller and eBay, I have not received a resolution after a week. I have now taken the matter to the ACCC to investigate why this charge appeared. I am adamant about not paying for a service I did not request and am seeking a refund. I made a purchase on eBay for an international item. Unfortunately, the information on my iPhone did not clearly state that custom tax might be required, which I only noticed in the detailed description section later on. I have now been informed by customs that I owe over £14 in custom taxes, close to the value of the items themselves (fire hydrant drinking bottles for children). I contacted the seller to address this issue and mentioned that I couldn't cover the tax and would return the items since I couldn't pay the cost. The seller mentioned charging me for the high shipping fees regardless. When I expressed my concerns about this and mentioned involving Paypal and eBay, the seller responded with aggressive messages, which I found unsettling considering I've never had such an experience before. It would be helpful if international sellers could clearly state potential tax obligations in the main item description instead of burying it in fine print on another page, and receiving threatening emails from sellers is unacceptable. I received an email from eBay regarding an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K transaction. eBay informed me that the item was listed by an unauthorized party and the transaction was cancelled. The email suggested opening a case in the Resolution Center if payment was made, contacting the payment service provider if needed, or canceling the transaction if payment was not submitted. They provided links to the Resolution Center for assistance and advised on protecting my account. I paid for the item with PayPal credit and am now unsure if the email is legitimate or phishing.

I recently purchased a phone, but unfortunately, the sim card wouldn't connect. The service provider confirmed that the phone couldn't accept the sim card after trying a few times. I contacted the seller and was informed that I could return it. However, when I attempted to ship it back, the seller requested a tracking number, which was not mentioned on the website during the initial purchase. Obtaining a tracking number would cost $43.00, plus an additional $10.00 for shipping, which would exceed the original purchase cost of $43.00. This requirement was unexpected as I have never encountered this issue with returns before. I wish this information had been clearly stated on the website to avoid any confusion.

I currently have a case open for a damaged solar panel, but it seems I can't log on to other sites that sell the same item. When I try, I receive a notice saying the buyer is not accepting bids or purchases. I have attempted to access three different sites, and it may be possible they all belong to the same seller. Some people have suggested Amazon as an alternative. I recently bought a small item, which was fine, but I am facing issues specifically with the solar panel sites. Could this be a consequence of opening a case against the seller who sold me a completely damaged item and is now playing games? I have reached out to sites like Smart Flash, Outbackak Camping, etc., but they claim not to be aware and are consulting with their IT technicians. I am disappointed with eBay in this situation.

I bought a hair dryer from Quality Distributors on December 15th. They haven't shipped my item yet, even though it was due to arrive today, December 28th. I've sent them three emails, spaced three days apart, but they haven't responded to any of them. Their previous reviews didn't suggest this kind of behavior, but recent reviews are mixed. I noticed others have faced the same issue - no shipping or communication from the seller. I'm unable to request a refund online and would like to do so. I also think it's important for the seller to be investigated to determine if they are legitimate.

I recently purchased an item and immediately left a 5-star review for the seller before even opening the package. The seller reciprocated with a positive rating but has blocked me from future purchases due to a minor issue. I politely asked the seller not to include unrequested items in the package, as one of them ended up causing some damage to a valuable linen tablecloth. Despite exchanging emails civilly, the seller decided to block me. I believe eBay tends to side with sellers in these situations. A supervisor mentioned that a legitimate reason is required for such actions, not just a simple request for feedback. Another seller also blocked me after I asked for feedback. It is frustrating to always have to remind sellers to leave feedback, especially when I consistently provide 5-star ratings. I would appreciate it if someone could address this situation since I have always been a loyal and prompt-paying customer.

I recently received a suspension notice from eBay, stating that my account has been indefinitely suspended due to security concerns. This is baffling to me since I have never sold anything on eBay; my recent activity on the platform only involved purchasing two pairs of salt works pants. I am disappointed with eBay's decision and feel that they may not value my business. It's disheartening to feel that eBay could be harming its own community with actions like this.
The email from eBay detailed the suspension and removal of item listings. I am unable to access my account and all outstanding selling fees are to be settled immediately. While eBay mentions this is a security precaution, I believe their approach could be improved to avoid impacting innocent users like myself.

I have contacted eBay multiple times but nothing has been resolved, and I am disappointed with the poor customer service I've experienced. I requested a refund for a jacket I purchased, the buyer agreed to the return, and I sent it back. Despite messaging the buyer a few times, he claims he hasn't received the package. I only recently discovered the tracking number and upon checking, it showed that the package was returned on December 14. I still haven't received my refund. I reached out to eBay, but they closed the case without addressing my concerns. Due to Canada Post strike, any delay in receiving the package shouldn't be my fault. I'm seeking a refund and believe the seller should cover the return shipping since he has been deceitful about not receiving the returned item.
