I purchased a chest of drawers with free postage, but the seller couldn't ship it. We agreed to cancel, and he refunded £23, which was deposited and debited simultaneously in my bank statement. The seller couldn't clarify, suggesting I contact you. Typically, when buying, the money is debited, then refunded. In my case, it was reversed, causing no actual refund, just a transaction loop. I hope you can investigate both sides to determine the error. Your help resolving this matter would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am facing challenges in creating promotions on eBay due to their updated policy that requires items to be priced consistently for 14 days to qualify. Unfortunately, this has led to a significant drop in my sales. I usually list items weekly at the suggested price, along with a 25% discount to attract customers. I do not increase prices after applying the discount. Some sellers have been granted exemptions from this policy, and I am seeking similar treatment to be able to run promotions like I used to. Previously, I ran bi-monthly promotions on all items from the 1st-15th and then from the 15th until the end of the month. I would also lower prices on unsold items briefly before starting a new promotion. Despite having an eBay store for the markdown manager feature, I am struggling to utilize it effectively under the new regulations, leading to a decline in revenue.

I recently sold a product on eBay (item # [redacted]56) to the user chibic_qndtywrd. The buyer claims that the item received does not match the description in the listing. She has even gone as far as providing a doctored screenshot and sending me abusive emails regarding this issue. I have evidence of my original listing accurately describing the Samsung tablet with the correct model number. The buyer is demanding a refund after opening the brand-new item, which diminishes its value. I have reported this buyer to eBay with detailed complaints, as she only has 2 positive feedback ratings. Despite my long-standing positive reputation on eBay and the clear evidence in my favor, eBay has not yet responded to my complaints or released the held funds on PayPal. I am seeking assistance and resolution to this matter promptly. Thank you, Peter Haynes / retronome

I have a restricted account due to selling an item listed on eBay through another platform, Craigslist NH. The item, a vintage Schwinn Stingray bicycle, was sold locally with no shipping offered, proving no behind-the-scenes deal. eBay's assumption of a secret deal is unfounded. It is unfair to restrict my account without evidence of any wrongdoing, as I've abided by selling only through local pick up. The buyer providing a phone number for contact does not indicate any misconduct on my part. I request eBay to review the situation and lift the restriction based on the lack of evidence for their claims.

Subject: Quality Issue with Order Item ID: [redacted]76 - GENUINE UK Braun Oral-B Toothbrush Trickle Charger Hello, I recently received my order of 2 pieces of the GENUINE UK Braun Oral-B Toothbrush Trickle Charger, Charging Unit Type [redacted]. Unfortunately, upon inspection, I discovered that the chargers I received do not appear to be genuine Braun products. They lack the necessary markings and safety features that are standard on authentic Braun chargers. Moreover, when I tested the charger, it caused the toothbrush to heat up excessively, which raises safety concerns for me. As an engineer, I can confirm this is not normal behavior for a charger, as the original Braun charger I own remains cool during use. I am hesitant to continue using this charger as it may potentially damage the toothbrush or pose a fire hazard due to overheating. I am requesting a replacement with the genuine Braun Oral-B charger I originally ordered for safety reasons. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, Andrei P.

I am facing challenges with my suspended eBay account due to outstanding fees. Despite contacting customer support and receiving instructions to make a payment to resolve the issue, I continue to encounter errors that prevent me from restoring my account. An attempt to provide my PayPal information for assistance was concerning to me, and I am seeking prompt resolution as this has been ongoing for months. The lack of effective help despite the fees I have paid is frustrating, and I am unsure of the competence of the support team at eBay. Immediate action is necessary to address this access problem and the security implications of requesting sensitive information.

The payment on my seller account through PayPal has been on hold for a week now for a sale to Daniel S. totaling $59.95. The customer expected the item to be shipped within one day, as shown in the photos. I didn't realize the pictures were downloaded from the manufacturer. I mainly run a dropshipping business and rely on received funds to fulfill orders promptly. Assuming there was an issue with the payment, I didn't process the order to avoid not being paid. The payment is now on hold by Ebay, and I urgently need the funds released as waiting 21 days is not feasible. Having to use my own money will put me in a difficult financial situation.

The purchaser of a German Beer Stein is content with the item but is facing issues with eBay mistakenly flagging the transaction. Despite attempts from both the seller and buyer to resolve this, eBay continues to send messages warning of potential intervention. The emails exchanged between the two parties show the buyer's frustration and request for the seller to close the claim. The buyer expresses displeasure with eBay's customer service experience due to communication difficulties, but reiterates satisfaction with the received item and confirms canceling the return request. The seller is keen on resolving the situation as both parties seek a solution to the ongoing problem.

I recently received an item, a replacement screen (item number [redacted]81) for an iPhone 6S, which turned out to be faulty. Despite my attempts to install it right away after receiving it a couple of months ago, it did not work. After inspecting it further, I discovered that the number 2 and number 3 flex cables were reversed, causing the screen to malfunction. I reached out to the seller with pictures of the incorrect item compared to an OEM one, but they informed me that their return policy is only valid for 2 months. As a seller myself, I understand the importance of rectifying mistakes, even at a personal cost, to maintain a good reputation.

Hello, I'm an eBay user with a concern. I recently tried to purchase a book with free shipping, only to find out that the offer was only valid in the USA. When I inquired about shipping costs to Israel, the seller quoted $40, which I find excessive. I requested multiple times for the seller to cancel my order, but they have not responded, leading to an "unpaid item" case opened by eBay. I am unsure how to proceed since the seller is unresponsive. Any advice on how to cancel the order without seller communication would be appreciated.

I participated in an auction tonight, bidding on an item that I was interested in. Unfortunately, when I tried to place my bid towards the end of the auction, the website froze, and someone who had bid an hour earlier ended up winning. I believe many others, like myself, were unable to place their bids due to this technical issue. This situation is disappointing for all parties involved. I have noticed discrepancies in the products being sold in the category I frequent, with fraudulent items slipping through while valid listings are sometimes removed for minor reasons. It feels challenging to reach out for help on these issues, as it seems like complaints are not taken seriously. I urge the platform to improve its services for both buyers and sellers to prevent further dissatisfaction. Additionally, it's important to note that German silver is not actual silver.

I previously filed a complaint against furniture-attic for selling subpar items a couple of weeks ago. I chose not to return the goods due to trust issues with the seller. Despite this, the seller is monitoring my sales and wrongly accusing me of selling her items. The items I am currently selling are not the ones I bought from her. Today, she unexpectedly sent me three abusive messages. She has posted defamatory feedback about me, which I request to have removed. She is also attempting to have my genuine feedback removed. Furthermore, she claimed that Hermes might take legal action against me over delivery issues. This ongoing harassment has led me to consider involving the police. I believe a phone call, not an automated email response, from an eBay representative is necessary. I urgently require a manager's intervention to address this troubling situation. Thank you. - L. I have sold an iPhone listed as broken to a buyer who acknowledged the condition. Even though the buyer received the item as described and there was a 'no returns' policy, eBay sided with the buyer in a case. The buyer also falsely claimed to have returned the item, while he did not. I am frustrated by eBay's decision and need them to refund the $63.09 charged to me. I am prepared to resolve any issues with the buyer separately. Case # [redacted]. Thank you, Al.

Regarding usaboxcompany's 19.2 volt batteries for Craftsman cordless drill. I wish to share my recent experience as my case has been resolved, but I feel it's important to alert others about this seller. On 7/16/[redacted], I ordered a 2-pack of batteries based on the ad clearly showing "2 batteries" and stating "(2 pack)." However, upon payment, the seller claimed the ad was updated, and I received only 1 non-Craftsman battery. I take screenshots of ads for my records. Although the seller now insists the ad was for a single battery, I believe the original ad was misleading. I wanted the second battery as advertised. While my case is closed, I wanted to highlight this seller's deceptive practices to prevent others from being scammed. Unfortunately, I discovered similar complaints in the reviews after placing my order. I have attached images "A" and "B" to illustrate the issue. Thank you, Marcus from eBay, for your assistance, even though the outcome was not as expected. My goal is to protect others from such deceit. I will not pursue further action. Sincerely, Bobby

My client ID is ingorlo-0. My account has been suspended for verification since 16 July. I've tried to verify and relist items for sale without success. I am extremely frustrated. Despite reaching out to Help, I have not received a response. If the issue is not resolved within 24 hours, I will close my account and stop using eBay. I am upset that my listed items have disappeared after payment. Additionally, I find eBay complicated and not suited to my needs. I speak English and live in Spain, wanting to ship only within Europe due to shipping complexities.

Hello, I need assistance with an order I won in an auction that was canceled by the seller immediately because apparently, they did not want to sell at the ending price of the auction. One of us who only saw the message saying "pay now" paid for the order, and the seller is holding onto the payment. It seems like they are not going to send anything because, according to them, they sold the items on Craigslist as well as other websites, which they claim was a mistake to do on the site. I need your help because the seller is not responding to my messages, and it seems like they want to keep the money even though they are the ones in the wrong. I won the auction, and they suspiciously canceled the order. I need them to refund my money so I can continue shopping. My email is: [redacted]

Regarding item [redacted][redacted], I believe there may be fraudulent activity occurring with a buyer using your platform. The individual requested my personal information for shipping purposes, and insisted on changing the delivery address. They pressured me to send the item immediately and claimed to have paid via PayPal, which shows as pending. This buyer has been persistent in communicating through phone calls and emails. I suspect they may be attempting to compromise my security, as they possess detailed personal information about me and my family. I urge you to enhance transaction security on your site to prevent such incidents. Please address this matter promptly.

I purchased a shirt from a Hong Kong-based company that has a significantly delayed delivery time. Despite assurances of a replacement, it has not arrived. I attempted to seek assistance through the resolution center, but it appears to be past the allowable timeframe. Feedback cannot be provided either. This situation feels fraudulent, and I suspect eBay's involvement in supporting such practices. The item number in question is [redacted]41. I am requesting a refund and urging eBay to remove this seller while taking responsibility for vetting sellers effectively. If a seller stipulates a lengthy delivery window, eBay should extend the option for refunds or feedback until a reasonable period for resending the item has passed in good faith.

I reached out regarding Item ID: [redacted]86, the Peugeot [redacted] 1.4HDi (70bhp) FAP [redacted] Active with 1-year warranty + recovery. I am a first-time eBay car buyer who mistakenly did not press the buy button but directly communicated with the seller. I sent the payment, and the seller ended the listing. We agreed he would service and deliver the car to our collection depot. Later, he claimed the car had issues and was unsuitable for sale, promising a refund. However, after waiting three weeks, no refund has been received. His excuses about bank issues seem dubious. I have all email correspondences for reference. I am unsure of the next steps. Appreciate any guidance on this matter.

I have two listings for an electronic amplifier, the ICEpower 50ASX2. One listing is for a single unit (#[redacted]76), and the other is for a pair (#[redacted]92). I had priced these amps competitively and sold a few quickly. However, recently, I noticed that when searching for "50ASX2," my items weren't appearing in the search results. Although they have some views and watchers, their visibility seems limited. Interestingly, I also sold amps of a different model from the same company (125ASX2) swiftly, which leads me to believe the issue might be specific to this model (50ASX2). I have contacted customer service on June 8 and June 20, and while the representatives were helpful, the problem persists. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and suggest a solution to improve the visibility of my listings compared to others. Thank you in advance, B. Kirby
