I recently spoke with Emma regarding a phone from Cricket with a 5star feature similar to the Jibberbug flip phone for seniors but was recommended the Alcatel Smartflip instead. Seeking a phone like the Jitterbug Smart 2.5, I then learned the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pure was suggested. Visiting the Shawano store, Stephanie was helpful, but mentioned the Alcatel wouldn't have the needed 5star feature for my husband's health needs. We bought the phones and a $60 plan hoping the 15 GB Mobile Hotspot would replace my current internet. I now realize I need a device to boost the Hotspot for laptop use. Unsatisfied, I've disputed the $[redacted] charge and plan to return the items. Wondering if I should switch to Jitterbugs with your plan, I seek advice on devices and potential refunds. Additionally, there seems to be a discrepancy in the cost of cases and accessories. I wanted to use Cricket due to a neighbor's recommendation but missed out on the referral program. On March 12th, I made a $60.00 payment for my Cricket Wireless service. On March 16th, an unauthorized charge of $64.99 was taken from my debit card by someone in your company. Upset by this, I contacted my bank to refund the money, resulting in my account being frozen and a new card issued. I immediately called to inform you to cease unauthorized withdrawals. Despite my actions, on March 17th, while my account was still frozen, another withdrawal was made by your company. I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau and am preparing to file a small claim. You have 3 days to address the BBB and 30 days to respond to my claim before facing further action for the unauthorized charges.

A family friend of mine, who is older and disabled, has Cricket Wireless service. He has been on a family plan for quite some time. I noticed his phone was turned off yesterday, and I wanted to help by making a payment of $25. I paid the balance, thinking it would turn on his phone, but after $50, his phone is still off. I was informed that he was removed from the family plan. Now, I'm unsure where the $50 I paid went, and his phone remains off. I have been calling Cricket nonstop, but I have not been able to speak to a live person.

I recently activated my SIM card for my data only device, a Reolink Go camera. Upon registration, a phone number was assigned to the device, even though it does not support calls or texts as it is a security camera. I confirmed that the device is supported by Cricket Wireless before ordering the SIM card. I am unable to create an online account because the temporary password was sent to the assigned phone number, which I cannot access since it's for the camera. I have tried calling customer service multiple times today but have been on hold for a long time without any response. Prompt assistance in ensuring the activation is correct is crucial so I can use my camera to monitor tank levels at our maple sugar operation. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated. I recommended Cricket Wireless to my partner, and he ordered a phone and payment plan online (order number [redacted]78). Despite paying for expedited UPS 1-day shipping, the package did not arrive. After reporting the issue to Cricket and UPS, it was discovered that UPS delivered it to the wrong address. Even though UPS closed the case, Cricket insisted it was still open, leading to confusion. Attempting to clarify, I was placed on hold for an extended period, which was frustrating. We are eagerly awaiting a resolution, either a refund or the delivery of the phone as per order (order number [redacted]78).

A couple of weeks ago, I attempted to upgrade my phone at the local Cricket store located at [redacted] Sam Houston Ave, Huntsville, TX [redacted]. Unfortunately, an error occurred in their system which prevented me from completing the payment for the phone. Despite the device being active on my account, I was unable to obtain it due to the payment issue. The store insisted that I either pay the full retail price or conduct a "sim swap" with one of their employees in order to acquire the phone. As my work hours have been reduced recently, I have been facing financial constraints and have been without a phone for three weeks now. This situation has caused significant inconvenience as I require a phone for work purposes. The phone, registered under my name, is still at the store awaiting resolution.

For over a week, my SIM card has been malfunctioning. Unable to reach the company, I bought a new one. Sadly, I can't activate it. After waiting over an hour with no response to calls, texts, or emails, I am frustrated. Today is the final day of my family plan with 4 lines after 4 years with Cricket. I cannot risk being stranded without a working phone. I find it unacceptable that despite store closures, customer service remains unresponsive. I hope to find a wireless provider that values customer service and can assist promptly. It has been a challenging situation, with yesterday ending in me walking 7 miles due to communication issues with my wife.

Dear company, I have noticed that your advertisement claiming to be "committed to award-winning services during COVID-19" does not reflect the reality of your actions towards customers. It is disappointing that you have not allowed customers some flexibility with payments and are disconnecting services during a global health emergency such as the pandemic. Your lack of options for customers, especially during a time when many are facing financial challenges or are working remotely, is concerning. Continuously disconnecting services and charging additional fees for reconnection adds to the burden. Please reconsider your approach and show compassion for your customers during these difficult times. Your actions now will be remembered, even after the crisis has passed. Your customers are paying attention.

Last autumn, I switched my iPhone 7+ to Cricket Wireless for their more affordable monthly rates. I made sure to purchase insurance for my phone, as I always do. I recently visited Cricket Wireless to purchase a phone. During the transaction, the saleswoman suggested a case and screen protector, offering a discount. I need to have the phone number released. The service was canceled, and I have no idea what my husband's PIN number was. I tried to pay what was owed on the account, but that didn't work. The man at the store in Springdale, Arkansas, was helpful, but neither he nor his supervisor at Cricket [redacted] could resolve the issue. Please assist me in getting someone to help. The service was terminated on May 19th, [redacted]. The last payment was made in April [redacted], and I had been paying the bill every month since his passing. I wanted to keep the phone with the same number for emergency use at home.

I live in Muskegon, Michigan and have three Cricket Wireless stores nearby. I bought an LG Stylo 6 nearly two weeks ago. However, I am still waiting for one of the stores to get phone cases in stock. It's frustrating that the cases are not available to order online, and every time I call the stores, they give me different dates for when the cases will arrive. One store doesn't even accept calls, which wastes my time driving there. My phone and camera are getting scratched, and I'm growing annoyed. How can you sell phones without offering necessary accessories like cases? I'm thinking of switching my service just because of this issue with the phone case. It's crucial to protect phones these days, as they are delicate. I reached out to customer service, but I had a poor experience with a representative. I had to repeat myself three times, and it was frustrating. I may have to switch phone services along with my boyfriend if this is not resolved.

Since Al messed up my phone at 5 pm, I have been unable to access any of my VPN, SSDI or any codes. Consequently, I lost access to my paid Roku accounts due to a lack of assistance. Upon contacting customer service, I encountered employees who were unable to provide any solutions, leading me to factory reset my phone. Currently battling cancer, this added stress is overwhelming. Despite promises from representatives, no callbacks were received. This ongoing issue regarding subscriptions and channels on Roku TV is unacceptable. A formal complaint will be filed with the BBB, Texas Attorney General, and my personal attorney. The lack of knowledge and assistance from Cricket Wireless is frustrating. I look forward to resolving this matter legally.

08/25/[redacted] To whom it may concern, I have been a loyal customer of Cricket Wireless for many years now, always praising the great service and affordable prices. However, I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience. I attempted to renew my plan and add hotspots last night, but due to COVID restrictions, I couldn't reach customer service for assistance. After making my payment and adding hotspots for my daughter's schoolwork, I woke up to find all my lines suspended with a surprise $54.00 balance. Customer service explained that the balance was due to the hotspot charge from the previous month because I added it before my plan renewed. Despite my confusion from the website showing a $0.00 balance, I was hit with a $15.00 reconnection fee. While the fee was eventually waived, I am frustrated that I wasn't informed about the extra charge or given a credit. Considering the challenges of COVID, I believe customers should be compensated for such errors when using the website independently. My mother has been struggling to reach a representative because: 1. Some phone options do not address her concerns adequately. 2. Confusing information was given at a Cricket Wireless store about phone payments and auto pay setup, and we couldn't speak with a human to set the payment date. 3. Due to her lack of tech skills, I assist her by visiting different Cricket stores. 4. She recently got an email address through Chat but was told she needs to inform IVR about the change. Earlier today around 1 p.m., I placed a temporary suspension on phone number [redacted] as it had been misplaced. Along with that, I changed my PIN. At 7 p.m., I received a text informing me of changes made to my account and advising me to contact customer service if I didn't authorize them. Upon calling, I discovered that my number [redacted] was suspended, and [redacted] was transferred to another Cricket account. Although the representative was able to restore my account, they couldn't undo the number transfer. With my name being the only one on the account and the PIN known only to me, this unauthorized transfer causing my business calls to go to another account is a significant concern, potentially resulting in financial losses. I believe the transfer should be reversed, returning the number to my account, and assigning a new number to the other individual. I've put much effort into establishing my business, and it's troubling that someone could simply take my number. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this situation fairly. I have contacted customer service multiple times in the past month due to the lack of service on all 4 lines throughout the day. After being with at&t for 14 years, I switched to cricket assuming it would offer a similar quality of service being a subsidiary of AT&T. While I have enjoyed good service with cricket for about four years, recently I have been experiencing poor signal at home. This has been particularly challenging as my kids rely on their phones for cyber school during the pandemic to access their lesson plans and communicate with their teachers. Despite reassurances, the issue has persisted, and I am seeking urgent resolution today or considering switching to a new service provider.
