I posted in the COMMUNITY//PETS section to sell a puppy. When someone demanded a response to a 6-digit code to verify that I am a real person, I hesitated. I reiterated that I am genuine by providing my first name, town, and cell phone number, all of which were already in my post, but this person persisted. Frustratingly, they flagged my post, leading to all my subsequent puppy ads being removed despite adhering to Craigslist's terms. I've tried using different contact information, including my own, my wife's number, and her email, but none of my efforts were successful. I've exhausted all options to reach out to a Craigslist representative for assistance without any luck. This situation has left me feeling incredibly frustrated and upset due to the unfair treatment.

I believe someone is using my pictures and other personal details in an advertisement on Craigslist without my consent. I would like to request that any payments made in relation to this advertisement be returned to me. I plan to speak with my lawyer tomorrow to discuss this matter further, as I have been advised that I may have a case against both Craigslist and the individual responsible for the ad. My name is Kimberly Ann N., and you can reach me via email at [redacted] or by phone at +[redacted]0. I kindly ask for a prompt resolution to this issue and request that the advertisement in question be taken down immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to resolving it soon. Have a great day.

I need to report a recent scam incident I encountered regarding a house rental ad on Craigslist. The ad was for [redacted] Leonard Ln., Sugarloaf, CA, posted by someone claiming to be the owner, Donna L Fisher. They insisted on communication via text or email, as they pretended to be deaf. They requested payment through bitcoin, Cash App, Zelle, and even a gift card, totaling $[redacted] for move-in costs. After realizing something was wrong, I contacted the real estate agency responsible for the property and learned that the house had been sold to an elderly lady named Donna L Fisher, who had moved to a nursing home in Big Bear. This fake landlord has been deceitfully impersonating her to carry out this scam. I have reported the incident to the bank, Vanilla Card, Cash App, and Zelle, and am planning to file a police report. I am in touch with the scammer to aid in the investigation. It would be helpful if Craigslist could investigate the fraudulent ad placement. Thank you, Cathy Tyson

I responded to a Craigslist ad in Tacoma, Washington for a 10-week-old wolf hybrid on 08/03/[redacted]. The seller met me at a nearby park, but when I asked for time to research the breed due to having rabbits, she seemed annoyed. I later found out the puppy was not suitable for my home, so I returned it to the seller in Graham on 08/04/[redacted]. Despite multiple attempts, I didn't receive the promised $[redacted] refund. The seller's mailbox was always full, and communication was challenging. Even after involving Paypal, the refund issue remains unresolved. While I didn't receive a receipt upon returning the puppy, Paypal's dispute ruling favored the seller. I wonder if Craigslist offers any buyer protections in such cases. I possess pictures of the original ad as evidence but failed to capture the seller's details. It seems the seller resold the puppy and is unjustly withholding my money.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulties with my Craigslist posts being repeatedly flagged and removed, despite adhering to all Terms of Use regulations. I am homeless and seeking assistance, but the removal of my posts is hindering my efforts. I reside in Florence, KY near Cincinnati, OH. I suspect that individuals may be misusing my email address from my help requests to target my Craigslist ads. I urge for a resolution as this ongoing issue is deeply upsetting and frustrating. I have noticed that my posts with titles such as "Person Needing Help And A Room," "Looking For A Room / Couch To Sleep On," and "Person Desperately Seeking Room" are frequently targeted. I am unable to receive calls presently, hence email correspondence is my only means of communication. Kindly review my posts and provide guidance on any necessary modifications to prevent future flagging. Thank you, Dana Kahn.

I have recently posted several items for sale on Craigslist. However, within minutes of posting, I receive multiple inquiries all asking if the item is still available without any negotiation. They then proceed to inquire if I am a real person or a bot, followed by requesting a code to be sent to them via email or phone call. Some have even been insistent on receiving this code. I believe this code is a way for scammers to take control of my computer and access personal information. This influx of scammers is concerning as I have had legitimate sales on Craigslist before, but this week every inquiry seems to be a scam. These scammers are negatively impacting the Craigslist platform and deterring genuine buyers.

On October 11, [redacted], I reached out regarding a Craigslist ad for a room in Burbank, CA (Post ID [redacted]). Despite mentioning my inability to use stairs in my initial email, the response I received did not address my question regarding whether the listing was for a condo or townhouse. Subsequently, when I provided my phone number in a follow-up email on October 12, [redacted], my query remained unanswered. Unusual texts were also received from two out-of-state numbers, one from Winters, Texas ([redacted]) and the other from Houston/Austin, Texas ([redacted]), mentioning Craigslist. The latter number seems associated with Amber, an "Exotic Monkey" from Houston, and Progressive Insurance from Austin, raising concerns about the authenticity of the ad. I seek clarification on the legitimacy of the advertisement for the Burbank room and guidance on how to proceed if it is indeed a scam. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've been struggling to post a boat ad on Craigslist. Despite multiple wording changes, the ad keeps getting flagged for removal. This is just a simple boat ad with photos. I haven't been on Craigslist for a while and have never broken any rules. I'm not sure why this is happening. I've even tried changing passwords and creating a new account, but nothing has worked. Here is the content of the ad: Title: "Crownline [redacted] EX Deck Boat" - Details about the boat and its features - Winterized for the [redacted]/23 Winter Season - Updates and maintenance done for the [redacted] Summer season - No brokers or dealers, please Thanks, Mark

I am encountering issues posting my home for rent on Craigslist in the "Houses for Rent Big Island Hawaii" section. Every time I post the ad, it gets flagged the same day, whether immediately or shortly after. I've attempted to repost using three different email addresses associated with Craigslist accounts, but the flagging persists. As a genuine homeowner residing in Hawaii, my intention is to list my home for long-term rental in line with Craigslist guidelines and fair housing standards. Having been a Craigslist user for over a decade and having placed numerous paid ads in the past, I kindly seek assistance in resolving this persistent flagging problem. I am eager to post my rental property without it being promptly removed. Please help me address this issue promptly so I may proceed with listing my home for rent. Thank you. Best regards, J.K. I am having trouble posting on your site. Despite following CL policies and not violating any, my rental property posts get flagged for deletion instantly. I am a professional graphic web designer, running my own business remotely. I got hired by Town & Country Real Estate through Indeed.com. I'm only advertising rentals, not selling illegal items or targeting individuals. This continuous issue is jeopardizing my job. Every rental post I try gets removed right away, indicating selective targeting rather than a thorough review. I'm unsure why I am being singled out. Your actions could harm my livelihood. I've refrained from escalating this legally, but discrimination and prejudice are unlawful. This situation is impacting my work and income stability.

I wanted to share my recent experience regarding the sale of Shih Tzu/Maltese puppies in the Seattle area. I was asked for a $[redacted] refundable deposit and $[redacted] upon delivery via PayPal to Sarah Evans, who provided an address in Lynnwood. However, upon arrival, the homeowner was unaware of any arrangement. After reporting the incident to PayPal and Discover, I noticed a new post on 11/25 claiming to sell Westie/Shihpoo mixed puppies, reusing the same pictures. It seems Craigslist needs to be more vigilant in preventing such scams by those using puppy pictures for fraudulent purposes. It would be beneficial if customers could leave comments on posts in addition to flagging them. - Janet N.

For several days, my husband and I have been unable to access Craigslist on our computers. We keep encountering an error page. We are experiencing difficulties both when using my Chrome browser and when my husband uses Firefox. We used the app on his phone to renew a car listing, but we are now trying to also post it in the Northern California edition. Unfortunately, we are struggling to find a way to do this without starting over from scratch on the phone app, which is inconvenient. Can you please provide assistance with resolving the website access issue and let us know how we can post the same ad in the Northern California edition? Thank you.

My posts seem to keep getting removed, and I'm not sure why. I've been posting for years without any issues. Recently, we had puppies, and we posted about re-homing them with a fee. Could you please clear my account so I can repost? We still have one puppy available. The only mistake I can think of is posting the same ad in multiple cities in Texas. If this is against the policy, I wasn't aware of it. I just want to be able to post in my hometown, San Antonio. Thank you.

I am concerned about some disturbing posts that have been made targeting my boyfriend and me. Someone has falsely advertised a free car using our address and has even put our house up for sale for $50,[redacted] with instructions to ask for "Dave" at the door. This situation has led to multiple individuals showing up at our home for various reasons, causing us stress and harassment. I am seeking assistance in pursuing legal action against the individual responsible for these posts. If you could provide me with the IP address or any identifying information related to these posts, it would greatly help in preventing any further postings regarding our address or "Dave." Any details you can share about the perpetrator behind these posts would be appreciated.

I have been running a post on the Craigslist musicians classifieds for a year and a half. Recently, Craigslist removed my post without any explanation. Here is the link to the post: [redacted]. I have made changes to the headline but the content remained the same. I used to post it every four days. I am looking to understand why the post was taken down so I can address the issue and resume posting. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. - Marc

Good evening, my name is involved in a transaction issue. I utilized a card identified as cis siana Bruce Miller. The card was mistakenly charged twice despite the payment appearing unsuccessful. Consequently, I resorted to a second card for the transaction. The second card's payment went through successfully. However, the initial card experienced the double charge, alongside an error message about card acceptance on Craigslist. I am kindly requesting a refund of the $10 overcharge, as there were three payments made in total. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

I am experiencing problems with someone repeatedly flagging my housing post, suspecting it may be an ex-tenant causing issues. --- Looking for a mature lady to share a classy residence. I am having difficulty with my room rental ad being repeatedly flagged. I suspect a specific individual or even Craigslist may be behind this. I received a harassing email from this person who called me names despite not knowing them. They even posted on the room rental section labeling my ad as a scam without any evidence. I am 73 years old and new to such conflicts. I believe this person should be banned for their behavior, as they are making baseless accusations. My rental is high-quality, and though I clarify it is not short-term, Craigslist still includes warnings about checking local regulations. I feel unfairly targeted and wonder why Craigslist permits such actions to affect innocent users like me.

I am hoping for a prompt follow-up. My listing has been repeatedly flagged, and I would like to address this issue. Over my nearly 15 years of experience, I have noticed unresolved flaws in how listings are handled. The separation of listings by ownership needs to stop. Platforms like Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, and AutoTrader do not segregate listings this way, resulting in numerous flagged listings. The division between sellers by dealer under 10k price range is ineffective. Many buyers in this category prefer cash transactions and avoid dealer purchases to evade taxes. Additionally, the excessive multiple listings by dealers create confusion. Please discontinue the practice of separating listings by owner, as it is unreasonable. I plan to share my feedback online for others to voice their concerns. Despite our support for Craigslist, the current system is not beneficial for us. I urge for a resolution to this matter promptly.

Dear community, I am trying to purchase a guitar for my grandson but have not received any responses from three sellers on Craigslist. Specifically, I am interested in the ad post #[redacted] for the "Gretsch hollowbody (soft-shell case included) - $[redacted]" in San Francisco. I have tried reaching out through email, offering to pay the full price in cash, and provided my contact information, but I have not heard back from the seller. Could someone please provide me with the seller's name and phone number so I can proceed with the purchase? Thank you for your assistance. Jeff Cain San Francisco
