Dear CheapOair, I am reaching out to seek your assistance in recovering the costs from ONETRAVEL.COM that I paid for a recent Spirit Airlines flight. The two amounts in question are $67.80 (booking reference NV89119USA) and $7.90 (booking reference [redacted] NY10020USA). Due to the impacts of the coronavirus and my wife's medical condition (severe asthma), we were forced to cancel our Spirit Airlines flight from Logan to Orlando, Florida on March 4, [redacted]. The cancellation was made due to the COVID-19 scare, and we notified the airline promptly. The flight numbers were [redacted] and [redacted] for the outbound and return journeys, respectively. The e-ticket number for both of us, Robert and Sara Linnehan, was [redacted]98, with confirmation code PGJUPD. We kindly ask for your support during these challenging financial times and would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance you can offer. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Robert Linnehan 64 Whitman Ave Melrose, MA [redacted]

I requested a refund within 24 hours of booking as Singapore Airlines canceled my flight for 7/14/20. I received an email a week ago from CheapOair.com regarding my reservation number [redacted]1. The email outlined the following options: 1. If the airline cancels the flight without providing an alternate option, CheapOair will start the refund process if permitted by the airline's policy, without any action required from my end. 2. If a refund is not permitted by the airline, CheapOair will secure a future credit to protect the ticket value, with terms and conditions to be communicated. 3. If the airline presents alternate options, I will receive further instructions from CheapOair, who are currently prioritizing urgent travel matters. I should accept alternate options if proposed, unless I prefer to cancel, in which case, I can contact their team. I am advised to regularly check my email for updates. For inquiries, I can chat online or call +1 [redacted] for assistance. Thanks, From, CheapOair.com

I was unable to board my 7/2/20 flight from Sky Harbor in Phoenix, AZ at 10:30am on American Airlines #[redacted] to Chicago, Il. O'Hare with an arrival at 4:11pm. I had been hospitalized on Tuesday 6/30, severely ill with a fever over [redacted] to [redacted] and tested positive for Covid-19. I started antiviral malaria medication on Wednesday 7/1. I spent five hours on hold on the night of Wednesday 6/30 trying to reach CheapOAir to cancel both my departure flight and return flight on 7/12/20 due to my mother's funeral service on 7/4/20. I had purchased travel insurance in case I couldn't travel due to Covid-19. Given the current situation in Arizona, I, as a retired nurse with multiple health conditions including a pacemaker, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, and seizures, did not want to risk spreading Covid-19 or jeopardizing my health by flying in my weakened state.

Hello, I am writing to address an issue with my recent flight booking to Nigeria on January 24th, [redacted]. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, my travel plans were disrupted, and I was unable to return to Canada as scheduled. When I visited the Air France office at the airport in Nigeria, I was advised to cancel my return ticket since I did not meet the travel requirements for entry into Canada at that time. Despite being informed that the cancellation would be free of charge, I noticed a $35 deduction from my account a few days later. I kindly request a refund for this amount, as I did not initiate the cancellation myself. Additionally, if a refund for the ticket is not possible, I would like to explore the option of using it for a future trip. I would appreciate if you could provide further assistance regarding this matter. I look forward to your prompt response regarding the refund and rebooking of my ticket. My booking number is - [redacted]9. You can reach me at [redacted] Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Faith A. O.

I was scheduled to fly from Tampa to Newark on April 3rd on United Airlines flight [redacted] at 6:30 AM, and return on April 5th on flight [redacted] at 7:55 PM. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, my flight was canceled. I would prefer a full refund instead of rebooking as I am uncertain about traveling during this time. The booking was made by my husband, Thomas Murphy, on March 7th under the name Hilda Maria Murphy. The booking number is [redacted]6. Thank you for your assistance.

I would like to cancel my flights with confirmation numbers [redacted]0 and [redacted]1. My name is Marni L Coffin-Slagell, and the flights were from Grand Rapids, MI to Boston, MA. Due to the Corona Virus, my lodging was canceled, and my flight was rescheduled during a period when I could not access my email. I am open to receiving a credit if necessary, as I am unable to afford the $[redacted] fee for cancellation, which was prompted by circumstances beyond my control. I understand that many airlines are waiving cancellation fees in light of the current situation. I have been waiting on hold for over an hour but have not yet received a response, as indicated on your hold message. I hope that this email will expedite the process. You can reach me at my email, [redacted] Thank you.

Hello Team, I am writing regarding my father-in-law, Vasile Apostol's, reservation number [redacted]0, booked to fly from Bucharest to Calgary on July 15th, [redacted]. Due to the closure of the Canadian border to travelers from Romania and his age of 80, my father-in-law is unable to travel for health reasons related to Covid-19. I kindly request guidance on the process for obtaining a full refund as a credit is not suitable given his advanced age and health concerns. I anticipate a prompt response, considering the urgency of the situation with the flight quickly approaching in less than 2 days. I value your services as a loyal customer and hope to continue using them in the future. Thank you in advance for addressing this matter. Sincerely, Silvia Apostol

Hello, I have attempted to reach out to you as instructed, but unfortunately, none of the provided contact details seem to be functional. Both the phone number and live chat are unavailable, making it challenging for me to provide the necessary information for my refund. I have been stranded in Vietnam since April 15, [redacted], when my Qatar Airways flight QR [redacted] (booking [redacted]6) from DaNang to the UK was canceled. As a 76-year-old solo traveler with health issues, the lack of assistance in recovering my payment to book a return flight home has left me feeling abandoned. I am also awaiting a refund for booking [redacted]0 for a Manchester to Da Nang return flight scheduled for August 5, [redacted], with Lufthansa. I urge you to establish a functional means of communication so I can resolve these issues promptly. You can reach me at [redacted] or on my mobile at +[redacted]59. Your prompt response is appreciated before I escalate this matter through appropriate channels. Thank you, Melvyn Baker

On May 14th, I requested a reservation from Appleton, WI to ABE, PA for July 31st and was promised a confirmation email within 2 days. I authorized the withdrawal from my checking account due to a new debit card on the way. Two weeks later, with no confirmation in sight, I called to find out they had no record of my first booking and no booking number provided. After making a new reservation, $[redacted].00 was debited from my account. My statement revealed that on 5/14, $[redacted].20, $60.00, and $19.90 were withdrawn for the initial booking charges. I only needed one reservation and finally received booking number [redacted]. I now need to cancel the reservation. When I contacted them, the representative mentioned I have a $[redacted].00 voucher valid until 5/14/21 but I am seeking a refund of $[redacted].10. I am looking for a prompt resolution.

I have received multiple emails from CheapOair regarding itinerary changes to my flights for a trip to Valencia, Spain with booking #[redacted]4 departing from Charlotte, North Carolina on August 18. I've had the chance to review and respond to some changes, but recently received an email on August 2 about an "Urgent Schedule Change" without much detail. As I'm flying for Graduate School and missing registration week could lead to fees, I urgently need to clarify if my flight is canceled or delayed. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated. I am attempting to assist my friend, Angelo A. Bul, as his English is not proficient. My name is Beth and I am reaching out for help with a travel issue regarding a booking with CheapOAir (booking number: [redacted]5) and Emirates Airline (ticket number: [redacted][redacted]). Angelo attempted to travel to Southern Sudan to see his family but encountered difficulties due to flight cancellations related to the pandemic. He initially booked a flight for April 28, [redacted], which was canceled by Emirates. Despite opting for a future booking, subsequent flights in July and August were also canceled, causing frustration. Angelo is seeking a refund of approximately $[redacted] to book with another airline sooner. He has faced challenges contacting CheapOAir's customer service and is requesting a prompt resolution within five working days. Your swift assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues with my booking #[redacted]5. It seems that there is confusion about the seats I booked with extra legroom. Despite confirmation, the airline provided seats with different configurations on a Boeing [redacted] instead of a Boeing [redacted] as booked. During my flight from Miami to Istanbul, I had to spend over 30 minutes arguing about the seating discrepancy. The airline seems unaware of my reservation. I am concerned about the lack of clarity from booking agents and the possibility of overpaying for uncomfortable seats. The airline confirmation # is TZGF2X. I kindly request the seats I paid for or a refund. Thank you, M. Minic.

I received an email from Cheapoair regarding a refund confirmation for my booking #[redacted]. I have received refund confirmations for Transavia flights but have not yet received a refund from Air Baltic, whose flights from Tel Aviv in September [redacted] were canceled without notifying us. Our flight was scheduled for 9.11.[redacted]. It seems like a refund should be due to us. The email from Cheapoair has caused me confusion. Can you confirm if my refund for the Air Baltic flight is still in process? Do I need to take any action to receive the refund? I would appreciate an update on the current status of the refund. Thank you. - HN

Hello, My name is Veerendra Babu Ravipati, and I had booked a flight with Lufthansa Airlines for August 17th, [redacted], from Hyderabad, India, to YVR, Canada, along with Trip Mate insurance. I was unable to board the flight due to COVID-19 advisory restrictions in India and had to cancel. Lufthansa provided a 50% refund for the ticket. Despite having full coverage, I was not able to secure a full refund, so I am looking to file an insurance claim. Could you please provide me with the policy number for my travel booking ID [redacted]1? Thank you.

Hello, my name is Nhatalia O. I bought a flight from FLL, Florida, to VCP, Brazil, back in February. Originally, my flight was scheduled for April, but due to Covid-19, I couldn’t travel. When I contacted customer service today to redeem my credit, I was informed that the airline Azul, which I was booked to fly with in April, was fully booked on December 24. I was advised that I could only use my credit until February 20, [redacted], with no option for an extension. I reached out to Azul, and they indicated they could extend it, but because I booked through CheapOair, they suggested I contact you directly. As a nursing student, I'm hoping for a slight extension to better align my vacation availability with my credit. If an extension isn't possible to Brazil, could I potentially use the credit for a different destination?

I have two reservations for October 11 on Flight No. [redacted] from PHL to PHX and returning on October 17 on Flight No. [redacted] from PHX to PHL. We would like to sit together on the flights. I was informed to contact you 72 hours before the flight. I am currently on hold with you for almost an hour. Please respond promptly.

My son purchased tickets for 3 to Managua through Cheapo Air. Unfortunately, the ticket they sold was for a flight that did not exist as they had no contract with Spirit Airlines. They canceled the fraudulent ticket right before his departure. After rebooking for a later date, they refuse to refund the full amount. Despite promising a quick refund, only $29 has been returned as of December. They now claim insurance and fees will be deducted from the refund. My son, Matthew, who is a veteran from Oregon, has spent numerous hours trying to resolve this issue. Cheapo Air's actions seem fraudulent and like theft of services. I hope for assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you. - Carolyn Lewis

Hello, I recently booked a one-way flight with booking number [redacted]0 and a return ticket with booking number [redacted]2 from Greensboro, NC to Lahore, Pakistan. Unfortunately, the airline changed the route and schedule twice within a week. The latest change involves a 32-hour layover in Philadelphia. I noticed that the same flights are available on your website without the layover, so I'm wondering why I wasn't automatically transferred to those. Also, I've tried calling multiple times, but have been on hold for 2 to 3 hours each time without any response. One representative offered to change my flights for a fee of $96, which I agreed to, but later rescinded due to a supposed issue with my flights, refunding only $74 of the fee. I'm confused by the inconsistency and lack of clarity in your service. Can you please assist me in arranging my flights with fewer layovers at no extra cost? I appreciate your prompt response. Thank you.
