My husband and I flew with British Airways on Sunday, 28/11/21 to Heathrow Airport, UK, heading to Lagos via Qatar Airways on 29/11/21. Unfortunately, we were unable to board the Qatar Airways flight due to an issue with our COVID test. After getting a PCR test and rebooking with Qatar Airways, we had to pay an additional $[redacted]. I spoke to a lady at the British baggage room who informed me that our luggage had been transferred to Qatar Airways for check-in. However, upon arrival in Lagos, all four of our bags were missing. I kindly request assistance in locating our bags and would appreciate an email to [redacted] Thank you.

I am writing to seek urgent assistance regarding my upcoming travel on BA2159 to Saint Lucia on Monday, December 6, [redacted]. My booking reference is L29SY4. I have all the necessary documentation for travel, including my vaccinations and PCR test. However, I accidentally uploaded my wife's PCR test instead of my own on the Saint Lucia Travel Authorisation form. I am unable to find a way to rectify this error on the form. If I am unable to correct this mistake, would it be acceptable for me to present all the correct documents at check-in, including proof of my vaccinations and a valid PCR test taken on December 2, for entry into Saint Lucia? Your prompt guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, N. Hayward

I am seeking assistance with my travel plans since I am over 80 and feeling confused. I have flights booked for January 20th from Edinburgh to Heathrow at 7:20 a.m. and then from Heathrow to America at 11:50 a.m. I wonder if a COVID test taken the day before my Edinburgh to Heathrow flight will still be valid for my flight to America. Thanks for your help.

Dear Sir or Madam, My girlfriend is currently at Miami Airport after flying from Medellin. She will soon be traveling from Miami to London and then on to Berlin, Germany. She had to wait in Medellin for 5 hours because the air conditioning was not working on the airplane, leading to all passengers needing to disembark. After this delay, she boarded with American Airlines and is now facing an 18-hour wait for her connecting flight in Miami. I have a question regarding the digital form she was told to fill out by a customer service representative from American Airlines. This form is supposedly required for boarding with British Airways. However, since she is only in airside transit and not leaving the airport, the government page states that she may not actually need it. Could you please verify if she can indeed board her flight with her full vaccination status and negative PCR test without any issues?

I have been struggling to reach the right department after spending more than two and a half hours on the phone. My BA Executive number is [redacted]0. My wife, Marilyn, has an Executive number [redacted]8, and between us, we have over 200k air miles. Can you please confirm if it is feasible to process this upgrade? Thank you.

I need to adjust my travel plans due to unexpected circumstances. My baby arrived early, and with the new variant, I want to change my flight from JFK to SFO to Monday, December 13th, or an alternative date. I attempted to make changes on the website but was unsuccessful as I'm currently in the USA. Can someone assist me with this modification? Regards, D. (BA silver ref: [redacted]8)

The new guidelines for entering the UK are causing confusion. If someone has recently recovered from COVID-19, they are warned that tests within 90 days of a positive result may be inaccurate. The current rules in England do not seem to provide any exceptions for testing before returning to the UK. Concerns arise about what to do if a pre-travel test comes back falsely positive. Additionally, testing upon arrival could also yield false positives, resulting in unnecessary self-isolation. Contrasting the UK rules, the latest CDC guidelines for travel to the US acknowledge that recovered individuals can present documentation of their recovery within 90 days, but this distinction is not reflected in UK regulations. It seems the US recognizes medical evidence, unlike the UK (England).

I purchased and paid for seats on our return flight from Denver to London Heathrow on January 6th, but they are not showing up on our Manage Booking page. It appears that the seats we originally booked, 30A and 30B, have been allocated to someone else as they are no longer available. Due to the cancellation of our outbound flight, we had to make a new booking. I suspect that the seats we paid for were not transferred over to the new booking despite having receipts.

Dear Sir or Madam, I have a question regarding the current Covid regulations. I am scheduled to fly from Hamburg to NYC on December 22nd, followed by a flight to LA. I am fully vaccinated and always carry proof of it in the Covid app. Would the CovPass app, along with a daily negative Covid test, be enough as evidence to enter the USA? I unfortunately lost my physical vaccination booklet, but I do have the Covid vaccination certificates with me. Best regards, Verdiana A.

I recently received an email regarding a booking with the reference TNN5D3, addressed to DR TRIPATHI. I am confused as I did not make this booking myself. The email instructs me to provide advanced passenger information, including mandatory US contact tracing details, via Manage My Booking. Additionally, it advises me to download the VeriFLY app to complete necessary attestations and to upload vaccination and test result proofs. It highlights that citizens or residents of Visa Waiver Programme countries can utilize an Electronic System Travel Authorisation (ESTA) instead of a visa for travel to the USA. This will permit online check-in for the flight, aiming to save time at the airport. The communication appears to be from British Airways, but I need assistance in understanding why I received it despite not making any travel arrangements.

Regarding booking code SHVDZW, I recently received an email indicating that our chosen seats were changed involuntarily for operational reasons. These seats were originally paid for during booking, but the new assigned seats do not meet our preferences. While the originally selected seats are still open, we are being asked to pay an additional $12 per seat to switch back. I find this situation unacceptable. I kindly request the booking to be adjusted to match our initial seat selection without any extra charges.

Our flight, reference va8d2j, departing from Seattle to Dublin has been rescheduled to depart Seattle at 19:15 on April 28, [redacted], and arrive in London at 12:30 on April 29. The new connection time for our flight to Dublin is too early as it was originally scheduled for 8:35. I found a suitable alternative flight departing from Terminal 2 at 14:20 with Aer Lingus to Dublin. This option is not showing in the British Airways app. We need our luggage to be transferred directly. Please guide me on how to book this alternative flight through the app. My email for correspondence is [redacted] The travelers are Ian and Rosemary Black, and I am Rosemary Joan. Thank you for your assistance.

I have a booking for Premium Economy on flight #[redacted] with American Airlines operated by British Airways from JFK to London and on to Edinburgh on April 19. My concern is that the Premium Economy cabin seems separate from the Main Cabin, which doesn't match my expectations. Despite reaching out to American Airlines and British Airways, I haven't received a clear answer regarding the seat layout. When I attempt to select seats, it only shows rows 31-36 with additional charges for specific seats. Can someone clarify where the Premium Economy section is located on the plane? The provided rows seem to be in the Main Cabin. I would appreciate speaking directly with a representative for guidance. Thank you. Noreen OConnell

Good morning, I recently received confirmation for my flight from Nigeria to the UK on December 16, [redacted] with flight No. 74V heading to Heathrow. I have already made the necessary payment for my quarantine and hotel stay in the UK. However, I was informed today that all British Airways flights originating from Nigeria have been canceled. Being a British citizen, I am concerned about how this cancellation may impact UK-bound British nationals. I would appreciate it if you could verify this information and provide any updates. Thank you for your usual cooperation.

Subject: Regarding Booking SHVDZW I booked four seats and paid for them upfront. Recently, I received an email informing me that the seats were changed due to operational reasons, potentially linked to an aircraft change. The new seat allocation given is not suitable for me, especially when the original seats I chose are still vacant (two rows with window and aisle mid-cabin). To my surprise, I was asked to pay an additional $12 per seat for the original choice. This extra fee is unacceptable to me. I kindly request that the initial seats be reinstated without any further charges. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have a fully paid flight from Durban to Johannesburg and Johannesburg to London Heathrow, but these flights are missing from my booking when I try to manage it online. British Airways has asked me to contact them, but I have had difficulty getting through via phone despite waiting on hold for over 45 minutes on four separate occasions. I am in South Africa and using a cell phone. Can you please provide a WhatsApp contact number if available?

I received a text about my upcoming British Airways flight from Fresno, California, USA to Nigeria on December 18. I am wondering if these changes are related to Covid-19 travel restrictions. - B. Okwelogu

I took British Airways flight [redacted] from London Gatwick to Doha on December 11th and then transferred to Qatar Airways flight QR1369 to Cape Town. Unfortunately, my suitcase didn't arrive at my destination. I've contacted Cape Town International Airport, Qatar Airlines, and even Doha Airport regarding my missing bag. Doha Airport informed me that the bag may not have even made it to Doha, suggesting it could still be in Gatwick. I checked two bag tags, BA401958 or BA401713, but I'm unsure which one belongs to the missing black Cellini suitcase with a purple ribbon. The suitcase also has my personal tag with my name, Emma Nellie Watts. I urgently need help locating my bag as it contains essential items. Please assist me in finding it so I can have it in Cape Town as intended. Thank you for your help. Emma
