However, upon arrival, I was shocked to find it was not a hotel or suites but a horrible, disgusting two-bedroom apartment where people engaged in illicit activities like drugs, drinking, and theft. The place was dirty, smelly, and unwelcoming. It was clear they were not set up to host guests. I had to find alternative accommodation as staying there was not an option. I was about to list my house on Booking.com when a booking was made. The guests criticized the size of the single bed in the beautiful room, wanting a double instead. Upon making an online reservation at a hotel, we were unexpectedly charged a security deposit upon arrival. However, we were required to withdraw cash from a neighboring hotel. Our pet fee was mistakenly charged twice, once on our Mastercard and once on our debit card, despite being informed of a system error with the Mastercard. Parking was unavailable, and we were directed to park far away with a young child late at night. The room was unsatisfactory with poor cleanliness, a leaking toilet, and lacking blankets. I was expecting a 20% discount from booking.com as promised by Waters Edge Resort, but it hasn't been applied to my bill. During my stay, I noticed there was no face soap or shampoo in the room. Today, I purchased an airline ticket on booking.com for R$[redacted].13, but my confirmation showed a charge of R$1,[redacted].81. I have been misled 3 to 4 times regarding the $25 refund for a hotel stay where I paid $54 per night. Despite being promised the refund, I have yet to receive it. Each time I call for an update, I receive different information. Our hotel was prominently featured with a complimentary taxi transfer upon arrival on booking.com. Regrettably, I encountered an issue during the booking process as the website pre-filled the incorrect airport details. Despite our arrival at Split Airport (SPU), the system defaulted to Brac Airport (BWK), which is not the correct airport for our stay. After contacting booking.com and being connected to their taxi service, I was informed that only arrivals at Brac Airport qualify for the complimentary transfer. This poses a problem as Brac Airport is not the one serving our resort. Given this discrepancy, I believe the promotion is misleading since the free taxi service is not available from the correct airport to our accommodation. I kindly ask booking.com to honor the initial offer as presented to us upon selecting this accommodation, including the complimentary taxi transfer to our hotel.

I mistakenly booked a second room at Comfort Suites Grand Rapids South instead of Springhill Suites on Booking.com for Dianna H. We realized the error, cancelled the Comfort Suites reservation (#[redacted]), and rebooked Springhill Suites. Despite submitting a refund request through Booking.com, Comfort Suites GR South refused to refund the unused room. After contacting both the hotel and Comfort Suites corporate, I was told Booking.com must handle the refund. I need assistance with cancelling a hotel reservation due to a tragic event. My sister, R. Burton, had booked 2 rooms at the Wyndham in Williams, AZ from June 29th to July 2nd, but she passed away in a car accident on May 30th. Her husband, D. Burton, who was also involved in the accident, is recovering from a brain injury in a group home. I tried to contact the property but had no luck. When I arrived, the security at the complex informed me there was no 'Airbnb' there. Without a specific apartment number, I couldn't check-in, and with night approaching and no resolution, I had to find alternative accommodation.
