If you set up 2-Step Verification using your landline phone, Google may not send a text code as landlines typically do not receive SMS. To receive a call instead, you can use the backup options available during the verification process. When prompted for the code, select the option to receive a call on your registered number. If you have added backup methods, such as an alternate phone number or authenticator app, you can use those to verify your account as well.

Make sure to provide as much information as possible about your account during the recovery steps, including details like your last login date.
