What are the hours and when should I call?
Priceline operates the call center for this 877-477-5807 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Sunday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 3,029 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
When you use our free AI-powered phone to call and talk, wait on hold, or navigate for you, it will automatically wait until the Priceline call center opens before trying to call. It will ask your permission before it places the call, so you can also further delay that scheduled call until you are ready. But that means you can "set it and forget it" ahead of time.
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Priceline phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Priceline staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call Priceline is Sunday. The most busy day to call is Friday, which averages 30% more phone calls by comparison.Again, this is based on a sample of 3,029 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

The shortest wait on hold
We measured the shortest hold times to be on Sunday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Wednesday, which is 609% longer than the minimum. As you can see, there is more fluctuation in hold time over the course of the week than there is in call volume.
In summation, the best day to call Priceline is Sunday. In this case, it's a no-brainer. Sunday is not only the least busy day for calling this Priceline number, but it is also the day with the shortest hold times.
Trying to use this number seems to be completely ineffective unless you already have a trip reserved with Priceline. When I called this number, I was told that the system did not recognize the number I was calling from and asked me to either provide my phone number associated with my account or my trip itinerary number.
I did not have an account with Priceline and knew it, so I said that I didn't have either one to try to get to a representative. When I said that I didn't have one, the system refused to budge and kept asking me. I provided my phone number in hopes of getting through that way, but the system again refused to let me past.
Instead of pushing me forward to someone who could help me, the system told me that it again failed to recognize the number and asked me to type it in rather than saying it. I tried to do that, and again, I wasn't able to get through. The system told me again that it could not find an account with the number I had entered, and it asked me yet again to provide my number. At this point, I realized that nothing was going to work and ended the call.
Overall, I wasn't impressed with this number locking out anyone who isn't already a Priceline customer. This isn't advertised as a number only available to Priceline customers; it's listed on the website as a way to contact Priceline.
This number might provide effective customer service to people who have already made a Priceline purchase, but there's no way to confirm that without making one yourself. Based on the service I received, I'd use this number only if I had an existing Priceline reservation. Otherwise, this number serves no purpose.

Priceline Customer Service on Facebook / Messenger
