I'm thinking about switching mobile carriers, but this time I want to go with an off-brand carrier. I don't really use my phone often and I'm tired of paying these big carriers' hidden fees and exorbitant prices. A friend told me about Page Plus Carrier, and while I'm not familiar with them, I figured I would give them a chance. After all, they seemed pretty happy and I figured a phone call wouldn't take me that long to finish. 

I figured like a typical phone carrier, they might have a high volume due to people calling about service disruptions, payment issues, and other similar issues. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get through their phone directory and to an actual agent. When I first called, a recorded message stated, "Thank you for calling Page Plus Cellular. This call may be recorded for quality assurance." The recording went on to explain that Page Plus Cellular may ask for information in order to help me better and told me that I could online to read their privacy policy. 

Once I got through that, the automated message offered me the following options: "Please listen carefully as our menu options have changed To add money to your account by using a pin or prepaid card, press 1. For other services, including activation, transferring your number, or customer service, press 2."
