T-Mobile is a subsidiary of a German telecommunications company named Deutsche Telekom AG. The company was founded in 1999 and has headquarters in Germany. T-Mobile offers its customers wireless mobile devices and mobile phone plans. If you are a current customer with T-Mobile and want to lower or monitor your bill, follow the steps as outlined below.

Monitor T-Mobile Bill Online

At any time, you can log onto your T-Mobile online account to see your usage and past bills.

  1. Go to https://support.t-mobile.com/login.jspa?registerOnly=true
  2. In the top right corner, select ‘My Account' and ‘Log In.'
  3. Sign in to your account with your email address or phone number and password.
  4. Under your account details, go to ‘My Bill.' You will be able to view your current billing period and usage rates.
  5. Under your previous bills, click on the bill you want to view. All of the billing details will be displayed so you can see if your charges have gone up or down over the past few months.

Lower Your T-Mobile Bill

There are a few steps you can take to attempt to lower your T-Mobile bill.

Set Up AutoPay for $5 Monthly Savings

You can set up autopay to save $5 per month. Note that this is not applicable for prepaid customers.

  1. Go to https://support.t-mobile.com/login.jspa?registerOnly=true
  2. In the top right corner, select ‘My Account' and ‘Log In.'
  3. Sign in to your account with your email address or phone number and password.
  4. Under your account details, go to ‘My Bill.'
  5. In the portion that says ‘Balance Due,' click the ‘On' next to the autopay.
  6. Edit your autopay settings with payment details.
  7. You'll receive an email confirming your changes.

Contact T-Mobile Customer Support Via Phone

Call into the T-Mobile customer support line and ask if there are any current promotions that can be applied to your account. If there are no applicable promotions, ask if there are any unnecessary items included in your current plan (such as international roaming) that can be lowered or removed to save money. If you make any changes, you should receive a confirmation email. Keep the customer service agent on the phone with you until you've received and reviewed the email.

Contact T-Mobile Customer Support Via Live Chat

If you prefer not to speak to someone on the phone, you can reach out to T-Mobile over their live chat function. Again, ask if there are any current promotions or changes you can make to your account to save money. Remember that if you make any changes, you should receive a confirmation email.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for T-Mobile Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like T-Mobile in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Can I Lower or Monitor My T-Mobile Bill? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible.
