To stop your Google Nest thermostat from adjusting the temperature on its own, you can disable the Auto Schedule feature. Go to the thermostat settings, select “Nest Sense,” and turn off “Auto Schedule.” You can also check if the thermostat is in Eco mode and switch it to manual mode. This should help you maintain your preferred temperature without automatic adjustments.

To hold the temperature on your Nest thermostat, simply set your desired temperature using the dial or app. Once set, the thermostat will maintain that temperature. If you want to temporarily hold the temperature without scheduling changes, look for the "Hold" option in the settings or app, select it, and confirm. This will override your normal schedule until the next scheduled change or until you manually adjust it again.

To fix WiFi syncing issues with your Nest device, try these steps: First, ensure your WiFi network is functioning properly. Restart your router and ensure it's within range of your Nest device. Then, open the Nest app, select your device, and try to reconnect it to WiFi. If problems persist, factory reset your Nest device, and set it up again as a new device in the app. Make sure your app and device firmware are up to date. If these steps do not resolve the issue, consult the troubleshooting section in the app for further guidance.

If your Nest controller isn't connecting with your boiler, ensure that the wiring is correct and that the system is compatible with the Nest device. Check for any software updates for your Nest controller. If the issue persists, we suggest referring to the troubleshooting guidelines in the user manual.

To reconnect your Nest Protect to a new Wi-Fi network, open the Google Home app on your mobile device. Select your Nest Protect, then tap on the gear icon to access settings. Choose "Wi-Fi" and follow the prompts to enter your new Wi-Fi network name and password. Make sure your phone is connected to the same new Wi-Fi network during this process. Once completed, your Nest Protect will reconnect to the new network.
