Subject: Issue with Conflicting Electrical Information for Thermostats I am experiencing issues with determining the correct electrical specifications for the thermostats I purchased. The advertisement indicated a 3 amp requirement, while the document included with the items stated a 5 amp requirement. Additionally, the required voltage of [redacted] volts remains unknown. Despite contacting the seller for clarification, there has been a delay of 2 weeks, and I am still without the necessary information. Unfortunately, communication through eBay's case system has proven challenging as I have not received an email from eBay directly. The seller has requested that I return the item at my own expense with a tracking number, which adds to the frustration of the situation. I urgently need a resolution as the floor heat must be turned off until the fall, prompting me to seek assistance in resolving this discrepancy promptly.

I made a purchase on April 5th and contacted the seller on April 6th to cancel. The seller informed me that the item had already been shipped, but as of today (April 9th), the shipping information only shows that a label has been created and it has not reached USPS yet. I would like to return the item for a refund. The item number is #[redacted]77 and the order number is 18-04[redacted]6. Ebay also reached out to me after the order was placed, stating that the item was removed due to concerns about the seller's account. My Paypal information shows no more details on shipping than what Ebay provides. I no longer need the item and do not trust this seller. I am eager to hear from you soon. Thank you for your assistance. - Emeralds523

I am experiencing difficulties with the seller regarding a return for 3 thermostats purchased on February 16, [redacted], with order number 17-04[redacted]9 from home_garden365. The electrical information provided is conflicting and inadequate, with discrepancies in amperage and voltage requirements. Despite waiting two weeks for clarification, the seller has not provided satisfactory information. The case is on hold, and I am unable to respond. The seller has initiated contact outside the case, requesting me to send the items back with a tracking number. I am seeking a return at the seller's expense and a full refund due to these unresolved issues. Thank you.

I initiated a return for the Antique Victorian 18ct Gold Belcher Muff Chain, which was purchased on 23 Jan for £[redacted]. The return process was started, and the item was dispatched. However, it seems that the return is now closed, and eBay was requested to intervene on 24 Feb. I am awaiting a decision from customer service within 48 hours. For more details, I need to view the case information provided. Thank you.

I reached out to them to cancel my order because it hadn't shipped and wouldn’t arrive on time. I received no response to my last message and now they're saying they're still going to send it. Please don't allow this to happen! Thank you — I've already purchased one from a local store! Hello, I'm Emily from customer service, and I apologize for any inconvenience. Today, we were notified that our shipment was lost by the carrier. We will resend your order today, but there may be a delay of two or three days. We sincerely ask for your understanding. Best regards, Grego

I urgently seek assistance! I recently purchased elastic to make masks for doctors combatting the Corona Virus. The tracking number indicates that the package is in ATLANTA, but it has not been updated for a week. I have several masks ready to be completed, but without the elastic, I am unable to finish them. To exacerbate the issue, the seller is no longer active on eBay. Please help me locate my package so I can fulfill this critical need for the masks.

Hello, I am Calogero Davi, a long-time E-Bay customer. I recently made a purchase of a watch with the Item ID [redacted]80 and the order number 23-04[redacted]2. Unfortunately, the seller sent the item to the wrong address, despite me providing the correct one. I contacted the postal service to retrieve the package from the incorrect location, but the individuals there were uncooperative. The postal service workers and manager were unable to recover the watch. Considering these circumstances, I believe the best solution would be to request a full refund as I did not receive the item through no fault of my own.

I am having trouble accessing my email account as I cannot remember my password. I have attempted to retrieve it multiple times, but I keep getting prompted to enter the password again. I need assistance from a customer service representative to guide me on how to resolve this issue. I find it challenging to navigate this process on my own due to my age and limited computer skills. Please provide me with the necessary support to regain access to my account. Thank you for your help.

I purchased 15 $[redacted] eBay gift cards on February 7, unwittingly falling victim to a scam. Promptly realizing my error, I contacted eBay customer service seeking assistance in nullifying the cards. The representative I spoke with located the cards using their numbers and assured me that she had locked them. Despite this, my Visa card has been charged for the purchase as my card company paid eBay. I am disappointed by the discrepancy between the assurance given by your employee that the purchase would be blocked and the actual outcome. I respectfully request a review of the phone call recording to address this mistake. My husband and I, with over [redacted] Facebook friends, are considering sharing our experience to caution others about eBay's reliability if this matter is not resolved satisfactorily. I am eager to discuss this issue further with a senior representative at eBay.

I recently purchased a $[redacted] gift card from a store and was informed that it was activated. However, when I tried to use it, eBay stated that the card was not activated. The store refuses to refund it. After contacting eBay, I was advised to reach out to the corporate office of the store to explain the situation. Subsequently, I bought two more cards, one for $[redacted] and another for $[redacted], from a different store. Even though they were said to be activated in-store, they did not work when I attempted to use them. This has resulted in a loss of $[redacted] overall. I suspect that individuals at these stores may be engaging in fraudulent activities by selling already activated cards. It's crucial to address this issue promptly and prevent other customers from falling victim to the same scam. I'm struggling to find assistance online, especially on a Sunday like today. I hope to resolve this matter as soon as possible to avoid further financial losses. Thank you.

My daughter has been corresponding with a woman regarding a car for sale. The car was supposedly being handled by eBay Motors. The price was $1,[redacted], and eBay Motors requested payment in eBay gift cards. After my daughter purchased $1,[redacted] in eBay cards and provided the numbers, they confirmed receiving the payment and said the car would be delivered in 3 days. However, she never received the promised email confirmation. Each time I called the number provided, it connected to eBay customer service, and while they recognized my name and invoice number, I suspect it's a scam. Since my daughter is a single mother, it's essential to get her money back. I still have the number if necessary.

Hello, I am having trouble processing a refund for an eBay item. The buyer, with the buyer ID: aaxxhappy1, encountered financial issues and requested a refund. I have received the returned item with Return ID: [redacted], using the shipping label provided by FedEx Priority. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unsuccessful in processing the refund through the eBay system. I have corresponded with eBay regarding this issue and was advised to seek assistance from PayPal. However, PayPal does not refund the handling fee to the buyer, resulting in the buyer receiving only US$[redacted].70 instead of the full US$[redacted]. I would appreciate it if eBay could facilitate the refund process to the buyer, allowing me to receive the final value fee. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards,

After corresponding with the seller, it appears the product was not as described since it was not in the US as stated. The tracking number only shows that a label was created, suggesting misleading information. Despite it being only $25.00, it's a matter of principle not to tolerate such dishonesty. It seems the delay is not solely due to COVID-19, given the timely deliveries from other places. I've decided to cancel the order due to these discrepancies. The seller's response requesting more patience is hard to believe, especially when the details don't match up with the promised US stock. As the product remains undelivered, suspicions regarding its actual location persist. The uncertain shipping status and discrepancies in information don't instill confidence in the seller's credibility. Waiting longer seems unreasonable considering the initial claims. The ongoing delays and contradictory details provided by the seller have led to a distrust in the order's handling. The mix-up between the supposed US stock and the actual shipping location raises concerns about the accuracy of the seller's statements. The continuous delays and shifting shipment locations have resulted in a decision to seek resolution by canceling the order.

I reached out to the seller of a 14k Gold bracelet I wanted to purchase. After making the payment today, I noticed discrepancies in the listing: the title was not formatted correctly, and the metal purity mentioned was 10k instead of the desired 14k. Concerned about a potential fraudulent listing, I messaged the seller but haven't received a response to date. I explicitly requested them not to ship until addressing my queries. Considering canceling the order and blocking the transaction, I am uncertain whether to proceed. Additionally, I discovered the seller lacks any reviews from past transactions on eBay. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I recently purchased face masks from an eBay seller, but I encountered a peculiar situation. After some time, I noticed that the item had been inexplicably removed from my purchase list. I reached out to the seller to request expedited delivery due to an urgent need for the masks, but received no response. Today, the masks were finally delivered, only to find out they are vastly different from what I expected. Advertised as "10 Anti-haze pollution masks with breathable valves," they turned out to be 10 low-quality face masks lacking the promised features. The discrepancy has left me feeling like I may have fallen victim to a scam. Consequently, I am seeking an immediate refund for this unsatisfactory purchase experience. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, B. G.

I won an auction on eBay for a Vauxhall Van on April 12th. After a Live Chat on April 13th with an eBay representative about payment, they assured me the funds would be held securely until I confirmed my satisfaction with the purchase. The total amount, including an extra £[redacted] for delivery, was £4,[redacted]. Despite multiple attempts to communicate with the seller through eBay messages, I have not received the van. The seller has now blocked me. I suspect this might be a scam. Can anyone assist me with this issue?

I have dedicated a significant amount of time to this matter, and I am considering ending my relationship with eBay. If you review my account, you will see that I am a reliable customer. The issue I am facing involves being stuck in a repetitive cycle between the buyer and seller. Initially, she contacted me, and then I responded. Subsequently, I received another message from eBay stating that I need to wait for the seller to reach out to me. This has occurred at least 10 times. Please either refund the $20 or risk losing me as a customer. You can reach me via email at l u l v e s h at gmail.com. Recently, I received yet another notification instructing me to wait for the seller to contact me. This message prompted me to send this email to address the issue. Kindly resolve this matter promptly to retain my business. Losing a customer over $20 is not ideal. The specific item in question is a pair of women's teal-colored panties in my size, adorned with a teal pattern. This information should be accessible in my account. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I received the wrong item from a seller on eBay on April 11th. I immediately informed both eBay and the seller about the issue. Since then, I have been caught in an endless loop of emails trying to arrange the item's return for a refund. Being a woman permanently paralyzed and wheelchair-bound, I cannot print a label, as the libraries have been closed due to COVID-19. Despite explaining this to eBay customer service representative Adora P., I am continuously told I need to print the label. I reached out to an ADA representative who suggested having the seller print the return label and send it to me. I have asked the seller to do this, but they are unresponsive. eBay is also not offering a solution. I am planning to lodge a complaint with the BBB and may have to consider legal action as the seller is not rectifying their mistake. I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter promptly.

I have encountered issues with selling face masks on eBay, as they have blocked my listings due to concerns about possible overcharging. While I was learning how to use the platform and sold some masks, eBay suddenly blocked me without providing clear evidence of overcharging. This restriction is frustrating as people in the UK need masks for protection, and eBay's action limits competition, potentially leading to higher prices. Despite eBay's claims, I did not overcharge for the masks. Our prices are competitive, even with the increasing costs of masks and shipping from China. As a legitimate business, JoymedUK and Medicomp should be allowed to sell face masks on eBay to meet the demand in the market.
