My eBay account was hacked, and the hacker attempted to make three phone purchases using my PayPal details which were saved in the account. I have recovered my PayPal account with the help of their security team and am in the process of getting a refund for the unauthorized transactions. However, the hacker changed my eBay email and username, locking me out of my account. I've tried contacting eBay through the given phone numbers, but the automated system instructs me to log in and resolve the issue, which I cannot do. I am concerned about my connected bank details and home address. Additionally, I have the hacker's address from the attempted phone order. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated, including the option of filing a police report.

I bought a tablet listed as a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 under order number: 02-04[redacted]7. I received a different tablet and returned it, assuming it was the wrong item sent to me. The seller informed me they had listed the item incorrectly but it was the intended tablet. They suggested I request a refund through eBay. However, as there is no replacement available and I cannot request the refund online anymore, I am seeking a manual refund. In essence, the item received did not match the description, and since the seller cannot provide a replacement, I am requesting a refund.

Dear Sir, I require your assistance! The company I purchased from has disappeared and appears to have deceived me. Order Date: September 28 Order Number: [redacted]38-[redacted][redacted] Product Details: Nail builder lamp (1 item) Product Number: [redacted]38 I made a payment for the lamp on September 28. Seller Information: lfz-43 (42) Order Number: 04-03[redacted]3 I bought a UV lamp from this seller, with the assurance of receiving a refund. However, I have yet to be reimbursed. In Hungary, failing to provide a refund constitutes a criminal offense. I am seeking compensation for the inconvenience caused. I missed four days of school due to the improper UV lamp, resulting in a $1,[redacted] loss. I am requesting a compensation amount of $50,[redacted] or a reasonable alternative. I anticipate your prompt response to resolve this matter. Thank you.

Dear Sir, I need assistance with an order issue I encountered. The seller I bought a nail builder lamp from on September 28 is no longer registered on eBay. The seller's username was lfz-43 and the order number is [redacted]38-[redacted][redacted]. They offered a refund which I have not received. This situation is causing me distress as I am entitled to compensation due to the inconvenience caused by this online purchase. I am requesting either $50,[redacted] in damages or a fair alternative amount to resolve this matter. I have experienced hardships as a result of missing school for four days due to this purchase, which has cost me $1,[redacted]. Your prompt attention to this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

On August 6, I placed an order with 'popciti' for the Funko Pop! NFL Patrick Mahomes Chiefs (PRE-ORDER). The seller mentioned the item was expected to be released in September. By the end of September, I noticed other sellers on eBay were already shipping it, indicating it should no longer be in the pre-order stage. I reached out to 'popciti' on October 1 to inquire about the status, and they informed me they had not received their allotment yet. Despite waiting until November 12, I decided to request a refund a couple of weeks ago. However, I have not received any response from the seller regarding my refund. I understand that the money-back guarantee period has passed, but I hope leaving a negative review can still hold the seller accountable.

I purchased an item from seller regzastore, but unfortunately, it did not arrive, and the seller issued a refund. However, I realized that the refund was sent to my old bank account, which is now closed (ending in [redacted]). I have a new account and PayPal, but the seller cannot make changes after issuing the refund. I am reaching out to eBay for assistance in resolving this matter. My PayPal email is provided below for easier communication: [redacted] I appreciate your help in sorting this out.

I recently sold an item on eBay for the first time, it was a $[redacted] lens I had from a camera kit. I went through the process of setting up the listing, but I wasn't aware of a 21-day hold requirement. This seems unreasonable, especially since I only sold the lens for $[redacted]. I have a verified PayPal account linked to my eBay account and I also use the PayPal debit card. The buyer has received the item and left positive feedback. I'm puzzled about the need for such a hold in my case, as I have bills to pay and this delay is making things difficult for me. If this is a standard practice, I might consider using a different platform like Amazon in the future.

I purchased an upper cylinder head with valves from seller hyy94. However, upon installation by my mechanic on my tractor, it was discovered that the valves were faulty, resulting in no compression. I contacted the seller to initiate a return, but the seller opted to cover the repair costs instead of accepting a return. The repair required replacing one valve seat, grinding that and other seats which cost $15.00 for the new seat, $[redacted].00 for labor, and an additional $[redacted].00 for removal and reinstallation of the defective part. I agreed to cover the labor, but the proposed refund of $[redacted].50 only covers half the repair expenses. After discussing this discrepancy, the seller then offered a $[redacted].00 refund. I believe I have been reasonable throughout this process, agreeing to pay for labor costs and only seeking reimbursement for the repair. Thank you for your attention. Order number is 03-03[redacted]2.

I am trying to cancel a bid I won but I am having trouble with my bank account as it keeps getting declined. Is there any way I can resolve this? Hi, Apologies, but I cannot cancel a transaction once it has gone through. Only you can do that by contacting eBay directly. I initiated the unpaid case to recover fees that eBay has already deducted from my account. I recognize your situation and will not give negative feedback as a result.

I recently purchased a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes with advice from the seller to size down. I am typically a size 3 in other designer brands like Balmain and Stuart Weitzman but followed the seller's recommendation due to my small, thin feet. Unfortunately, when I finally had the chance to try them on after a few days due to personal commitments, I found them incredibly painful and not up to the expected designer quality. The seller has refused my request for a refund, claiming that I had worn the shoes for a few days, which I find unreasonable and untruthful. My son, who has experience in the business, is questioning the authenticity. The shoes seem to show signs of more wear than described, with the repainted red soles not done perfectly. This has left me feeling uncomfortable and hesitant to resell them without resolution from the seller. I hope for your advice on this matter before responding further to the seller.

Since enrolling in Managed Payments in August, I have experienced irregular payouts on eBay, causing financial challenges as a part-time seller. The delays of up to nine business days in receiving funds have led to overdraft fees in my separate checking account. Moving recently has left me tight on personal funds, making it essential to rely on timely payouts for daily expenses and shipping costs. Despite my efforts to address the issue through multiple calls, eBay has combined overdue invoices with current charges, withholding payments and prolonging the resolution. I am unable to opt-out of Managed Payments or access funds to cover expenses or ship pending orders due to the account suspension. The lack of cooperation from eBay in finding a solution has left me feeling frustrated and caught in a difficult position. Any guidance or support from fellow members would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding my recent purchase with item number: [redacted]13 and order number: 26-04[redacted]6, the item I received did not fit me despite selecting the correct size. I waited a month for it and now face an additional month wait for the correct size. I am also troubled by being asked to pay extra fees upon delivery, despite already paying online with my credit card. The seller claimed these fees are related to my country, but I expected them to be included in the online payment process. There was no indication during checkout that additional charges would apply upon delivery. The delivery person requested the extra fees without mentioning the option to pay by card again. I am seeking a refund for the item and those extra charges. Looking forward to your prompt response.

Subject: Urgent Help Needed Hello, I am Marvin K. I made a purchase of item # [redacted]78 (Oxygen machine) on August 5th this year but have not received it. The seller mentioned being in Hawaii due to an eBay suspension. He promised to ship the item upon return but has failed to do so, giving me various excuses instead. I am now seeking a full refund as communication with the seller has been unproductive. eBay seems to be unable to assist, and even PayPal has confirmed that the seller must issue the refund. I am unable to leave feedback or reach the seller. Kindly intervene and urge the seller to provide a refund. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Grandpa Marvin

On November 8 at 4 pm, I contacted eBay's customer service to notify them that I would be out of the country for a month. Unfortunately, my message seemed to have been overlooked since this is already the third purchase where I've been prompted to print the label. The first buyer requested a refund, and it seems likely the other two may follow suit. I'm puzzled by how this oversight occurred, especially after I took the time to call in advance. Regrettably, I won't be able to call again until I return. Now, I find myself having to reach out to each customer individually to explain the delay. It's unsettling to think about facing another "print your label" situation when I'm back.

I have been selling pocket knives on eBay for two years. Recently, eBay removed three knives I listed, stating they violated their knife policy. Despite my appeals being denied, I am sure these knives comply with eBay's rules. Last Friday, eBay removed five more knives. I firmly believe these are acceptable listings. My attempts to rectify the situation have been unheard, and the customer service hasn't been helpful. I am frustrated by the lack of understanding and appeal options provided by eBay. I am keen on restoring my good standing. I appeal for someone at eBay to review the removed items and acknowledge that I have always followed eBay's guidelines for listing pocket knives.

Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with one of the sellers and it seems that I have exhausted all available options. The problem started on July 15, [redacted], with ORDER NUMBER [redacted]30-[redacted]25. The estimated delivery date was September 12th. I first reached out on September 17th and was advised to wait a few days, to which I agreed. After nothing arrived, I contacted them again on October 3rd, and they offered to resend the items with expedited shipping, which I accepted. Despite this, as of November 7th, the items still haven’t arrived. They then proposed a refund and requested 3 days for the payment to process. It has been 9 days since then, and I am at a loss for what to do next. I have been patient and understanding, realizing that packages can sometimes get lost, especially smaller ones like mine, but after 4 1/2 months, I believe this issue should have been rectified. Sincerely, Ivana B.

Hello eBay Customer Support, I'm Rod and I use the eBay account Hi-Speed Networking. I'm located in Australia with the mobile number +61 [redacted] 44 77 33. I'm extremely frustrated with two purchases I made from the same supplier on September 12, [redacted]. I bought two power meters, one in white and one in black, in separate transactions. The seller claimed to have sent the items, but tracking shows they never left China. Strangely, my eBay purchase history only shows one item ([redacted]99) in white for $28.67, and I've only been able to file a complaint for this one. The black meter, which I also paid for, isn't reflected in my account. The seller insists they will resend the missing item once they receive the return, but there were actually two items missing. I've tried to resolve this with the seller without success. It feels like a scam, and I urgently need eBay to intervene and reverse both transactions. Please get in touch with me promptly. Rod

My eBay username is dimagold. I am Nina Galesnik with [redacted] feedback, all positive. Recently, I won an Apple iPhone 8 Plus in gold, unlocked, on 11/29/19 from seller daug9760. Upon payment, I noticed a note by the seller stating the phone is actually through Sprint, not unlocked as described for T-Mobile compatibility. I requested to cancel the order immediately, but the seller, who is new to eBay, did not respond to my messages. I'm seeking assistance to cancel the order and receive a refund for this purchase, as I specifically need it to be compatible with T-Mobile.

Hello, I purchased a Network card for [redacted] GBP with delivery totaling [redacted] GBP. Despite agreeing with the seller not to use Express Delivery, the package was still sent that way. As a result, the item ended up stuck in customs, requiring me to wait for a notification. The seller promised to send a second card with shipping compensation via FedEx Economy. I informed him that I would not accept the first card due to unexpected fees as we had agreed on not using Express Delivery. If the initial item is not claimed within 21 days, it will be returned to the sender, resulting in the seller receiving the item and the money paid. The second card has arrived, but the eBay ticket for the first card has been closed, leaving uncertainty about potential fees and what will happen if I pay them. The seller claims to have communicated with my local postal service through eBay, which I find unlikely since the postal service typically uses their own chat system. The lack of evidence provided by the seller regarding these communications raises concerns. I possess documentation stating that the item may be sent back after 21 days, contrary to the seller's assurance. I am puzzled by eBay's handling of this situation.

I recently received item [redacted]30 from eBay, and it arrived with broken parts, not as described. I contacted the seller on November 18th, provided pictures, and requested a refund. The seller proposed a return, but I explained on November 21st that I couldn't return it because I'm in Australia while the item is in the Netherlands. I also asked for a partial refund of 70 euros. However, the seller has been unresponsive since then. I have tried reaching out to eBay customer service but have encountered difficulties navigating the various contact options and was even told the service is closed when I called. Any guidance on how to proceed would be appreciated.
