I would like to verify the legitimacy of a vehicle purchase. Below is a copy of an email I received from eBay. I recently listed some used books for sale on eBay when my account was suspended. eBay requested proof of identity and bills from me. I promptly updated my information and checked for any complaints, but found none. I attempted to call the provided number for support, but it did not work and lacked a country code. Regarding the bills they requested as proof of ownership of the books, I mainly purchase items from second-hand stores and outdoor events where transactions are in cash, so I lack official receipts. I have no record of any client complaints about the products I have sold. I am unsure how to proceed in unblocking my account as I can only provide my identity documents.

Hello, I recently bought two [redacted]-watt solar panels from hummcamping in Australia for $[redacted].98 with free shipping as advertised. However, the next day, they requested an additional $[redacted].14 for shipping. After some back and forth, they agreed to cancel the order and refund my payment, but it has been 6 days and I have not received my refund. I am considering contacting eBay for assistance. The eBay item number is [redacted]45 purchased on 31/7/[redacted], and my eBay ID is gogazzago. I believe it goes against eBay's policy to charge for shipping when it was initially listed as free. I purchased two pairs of reshoven8r "sole shields" directly from reshoven8r.com to protect my shoes. These thick plastic stickers are applied with a heat gun or a hair dryer for better adhesion and durability. When I realized I had mistakenly bought fake shoes from a friend, I had an extra pair of sole shields which I decided to sell on eBay. The buyer received them and now claims they are not authentic, despite their effectiveness. He points out a minor crease, but I have used similar ones with no issues. I compared it to how duct tape can still work even when bent. He is requesting a refund of $20, even though I had already offered a discount from the original price and even the manufacturer's. I am confident in the quality of the product based on my own experience.

There are authentic Rush Limbaugh Betsy Ross Flag shirts available for purchase on his website, with all profits going to the Tunnels to Towers charity. Unfortunately, fraudulent versions of these shirts are being sold on eBay for lower prices, misleading buyers and diverting funds meant for charity. The sellers are misrepresenting these knock-off shirts as authentic, complete with Rush Limbaugh's signature. This unethical behavior not only deceives buyers but also takes away from the charitable cause. It's concerning how some sellers are willing to exploit a charity for personal gain. While online marketplaces like eBay may have a "buyer beware" policy, the deceptive actions of these sellers are unacceptable. They are essentially profiting from a charity dedicated to supporting first responders and military veterans in need. It is important to raise awareness about these fraudulent activities and prevent such sellers from continuing to sell these knock-off shirts.

Seller: uni754 Order Date: July 28, [redacted] Item Number: [redacted]38 Hello eBay, I purchased a GENUINE VOLVO [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] 1.4 CLUTCH KIT NEW COMPLETE OE NUMBER [redacted] from the seller uni754. However, what I received at my home was an original Volvo box containing a Sachs plate, a Valeo disc, and an unbranded bearing. I am frustrated with this situation, feeling deceived after placing multiple orders with this seller over the past month. I reside in a remote area in Peneda Gerês National Park and returning this Clutch Kit would require an 80km trip to the post office, which is inconvenient as I currently do not have a car. I am particular about using only original parts in my Volvo, and I refuse to install this subpar kit. I demand a full refund and an apology from the seller, as this has caused me inconvenience and extra expenses in renting a car until I can find the rare part I need. I reside in Spain, and the courier had trouble locating my address, despite my successful deliveries through eBay in the past. eBay initiated a case, but it seems to have been closed, indicating that I am not eligible for a refund as the undelivered package is being attributed to me. I had a chat with an eBay representative online yesterday who assured me a refund would be processed, but now eBay is stating that a refund will not be granted. As a retiree, losing over £50 due to the courier not finding my residence is difficult for me. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

A case was opened, set to resolve yesterday, but now it shows as closed with no refund due to the undelivered parcel being deemed my responsibility. I conversed with an eBay representative online yesterday, who assured me a refund, but eBay's current stance is against issuing one. As a pensioner, losing over £50 due to the courier's inability to find my home is a significant financial loss for me. In July, I placed an order for Tena pants that totaled over £50 including postage. The courier claimed they could not find my house, even though my neighbor informed them that I live right next door. Being disabled, I was at home and did not leave. I am unsure of the courier's identity. I spoke with an eBay representative online yesterday who promised a full refund, but eBay is now stating that a refund will not be provided. This situation is incredibly unfair, as none of it is my fault, and I solely rely on my pension. If I cannot receive the goods, I kindly request a refund.

I previously had an account on eBay India, which has since been closed. I have now completed my KYC verification again successfully. However, I am encountering an issue when trying to list clothing items. I am receiving the following error message: "To maintain a safe trading environment, eBay places limits on the number of categories sellers can list. Currently, you do not have required permission to sell in this category. If you wish to sell in this category, please create a business plan and write to [redacted]{e56[redacted]89x}." We reached an agreement, and I sent payment using the IBAN provided after seeing a photo of his ID. However, after a few days, he stopped responding to my emails and calls. I am disabled and housebound. I am certain the order was not delivered. I have been unable to ascertain the courier company in order to coordinate a parcel pick-up with a friend. The phone numbers provided by GETHUMAN are for the US or Canada and I reside in Spain. I am truly disappointed by the lack of assistance, especially considering my long-standing loyalty to eBay. The parcel and shipping costs are significant to me, equivalent to a week's pension. It is disheartening to feel neglected in this situation.

I returned an item on eBay, and the seller claimed to have refunded me through PayPal using my Visa card, not my PayPal account. Despite my communication with the seller about not receiving the refund, I was informed they can't assist me because they are currently "away" and not responding to emails. I purchased an item that was advertised as new but received a refurbished older model instead. I immediately contacted the seller upon receiving the item to express my disappointment and initiate a return. The seller requested I mark the reason for return as "did not like it," which I did, and asked for a return label to be sent to my shipping address. Unfortunately, I was unable to print the label and informed the seller. Despite this, the seller has repeatedly emphasized that my refund will only be processed if the item is returned by August 9th. I firmly believe that the return shipping date should be flexible given the circumstances. My bank supports this view and has advised me to contact customer service. However, I have not been able to reach anyone despite several attempts. I kindly request a resolution to this matter; otherwise, my bank will intervene. As a senior citizen with fraud protection on my account, I am grateful for my bank's assistance in ensuring that I receive a full refund from the seller. Thank you.

I had a problem with an eBay seller, and eBay intervened. They issued me a full refund including the original shipping costs. The seller refused to accept a return initially but later demanded it after the refund. Despite this, eBay issued me a courtesy refund without requiring a return. The seller then started pressuring me to send the item back, which frustrated me. When the seller left negative feedback implying I scammed him, I decided to reciprocate. However, eBay removed my feedback while his remains visible. It seems unfair to me.

I purchased a Swarovski pen on eBay in June/19 to be delivered to Brasília - DF, with an estimated delivery date of 01/Aug/19. I was tracking the shipment on Royalmail's website, which, as of now (13/Aug/19), still shows it in transit. I contacted the seller on the site, and they accused me of [redacted] because they claimed the item had already been delivered. They sent me tracking information from Correios showing the delivery in São Paulo - SP. I reached out to eBay about this issue, but they closed the case without considering the information provided by both parties, even though the delivery address is clearly Brasília - DF, not São Paulo - SP! When I contacted Correios, they informed me that the recipient's name on the package does not match mine. I am upset with the seller and eBay for not paying attention to the details and closing the case. I want my pen or a refund. This lack of respect for the consumer is unacceptable.

I purchased a grow tent and light from Mars Hydro on 8/6/19. Unfortunately, my package has not been shipped yet and is still at the LA warehouse. I am disappointed with the delay and would like to receive my package promptly. Mars Hydro initially provided the wrong tracking number, which led to confusion. Now, with a new tracking number and changed delivery date, I expected to have received it already, considering the proximity of the warehouse. I am frustrated by the delayed shipment. I urge Mars Hydro to either deliver my package by tomorrow as promised or provide a refund so I can purchase from another seller. I hope they can resolve this issue promptly to maintain their reputation.

Hello, this is from Hussein Alwan. I recently bought a Tools Kit from eBay, and when I received it, it was not as advertised. The seller's pictures did not match the product I received. I have contacted eBay and the seller and they want me to return the item by Aug 19, [redacted]. However, I am currently out of the USA and will only be able to return the item in mid-September.
