I recently received an email from eBay congratulating me as a seller, but it's not me. It seems the individual entering their email made an error. The email came from [redacted] and mentioned a user named chmar-29 in Fayetteville, NC, who joined in [redacted]. This information does not match me; my email ends in .com, and I reside in Australia. I have been bombarded with emails from eBay, even some from fake addresses, which I have blocked. I have never been an eBay member and have no intention to join. Please resolve this issue, or I will have to report it to Yahoo. Thank you.

I attempted to update my listing from a different device as I was unable to use my usual one. The problem arose with the security question prompt. It asked for the user ID of another account tied to my address, which belongs to my husband, not me. I do not even know my own user ID as I usually log in using my email address. My husband is also unaware of his user ID. Most users probably do not know their assigned IDs, since we cannot choose them ourselves. I am unable to access my email or text messages from the device I am using, making it impossible to verify my account through those methods. I tried to download the Yahoo app to access my email, but faced another security question prompt. This situation is frustrating as I cannot access needed information when using a different device. The reliance on a security question related to an account that is not mine to verify my account seems counterintuitive. It has been a challenging experience dealing with these security measures.

I purchased an electric motor from a private seller on eBay and unfortunately, when the package arrived, it did not contain the motor as described. The seller seems to have misled the shipping company with a vague description. I have reached out for a refund but have not received any response from the seller, Dillon Scott. The seller's contact email is no longer active. I paid $80 through PayPal and despite the tracking showing the item as "delivered," I am left without the product I purchased. It appears to be a fraudulent scheme by the seller, and I am hoping to get my money back. My name is Tom Ricker, and the situation is frustrating.

Good day, I recently made a purchase on your site, with item number [redacted]89. The expected delivery date was in December. Unfortunately, the tracking information shows that the item attempted to enter my country but encountered an issue, and there have been no updates since then. I have contacted the seller regarding this matter, but they have not responded to my inquiry sent three days ago. I am concerned that the item might have been returned to the seller, leaving me without the product and my money. I kindly request assistance in either receiving a refund or having the item delivered as the lack of response from the seller is troubling. I feel vulnerable as a buyer in this situation, and this is the second occurrence of such an issue on EBay. It is disheartening to experience such a lack of seller accountability, and I hope for a resolution promptly.

I bought an item from eBay seller wallyson520, but received the wrong item. After opening a return with the seller, they agreed to refund me once they receive the item back. I sent it back at my own cost ahead of schedule and provided the tracking details. However, I was surprised to receive an email from eBay stating that my case was closed without a refund. Despite appealing, I quickly received a rejection without a proper review. It seems they did not thoroughly assess my situation within the promised timeframe. Now I find myself without the correct item, out of pocket for shipping expenses, and missing my money, which is frustrating given the assurances given by both eBay and wallyson520.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this company. They are fraudulent and untrustworthy. The lack of customer support, live chat, and attention to customers is unacceptable. They failed to refund me $64 for returning a faulty Apple iPhone 6. The seller, peachwillgo, refused to provide a return shipping label. This lack of cooperation and frozen communication is outrageous. They are acting like bandits, neglecting their responsibility for return shipping costs. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with this seller.

I purchased an item on eBay with the item ID: [redacted]50 for $[redacted] and made the payment using a credit card on November 24th, [redacted]. I am located in India, and the seller is based in Spain. I recently received an email from eBay regarding account security concerns. They have informed me that there might have been unauthorized access to the seller's account but assured me that there are no issues with my own account. They recommended some safety measures to protect myself. The seller contacted me through eBay messaging to inform me that he has refunded the $[redacted] due to the commission charges associated with credit card payments. He claims to have already shipped the product and is now requesting that I send him $[redacted] via PayPal. I am seeking confirmation regarding eBay's money-back guarantee coverage for my refund. Additionally, any advice on avoiding potential fraudulent transactions would be appreciated.

Hello. I sold a Gucci scarf on eBay. Before sending it, the buyer asked for photos to verify its authenticity. I assured them it was genuine and sent additional pictures. However, two days after receiving the item, the buyer claimed it was not an original Gucci scarf based on the photos provided. Despite the dispute, I agreed to accept the return because I believe in the authenticity of the item. The buyer has been unresponsive to my messages and is delaying the return process for 30-40 days, which seems excessive. I suspect the buyer is attempting to exploit the buyer protection program by not returning the item. I have a history of successful sales with satisfied customers and hope for a fair resolution to this issue. I have included pictures of the actual scarf I sent, which differs from the ones the buyer submitted. I trust that you will address my concerns and resolve the matter accordingly.

I recently ordered a vapor bulb for my bearded dragon. Initially, it was supposed to arrive by the 20th, but it did not. When I contacted the seller, they mentioned that it would be delivered by the 27th along with some extra items as compensation for the delay. After a strange message from the seller claiming illness and the items being already shipped, I contacted them again when nothing arrived by the 27th. The seller then promised to ship my item first thing tomorrow. It's frustrating as I urgently need the bulb. The item number is [redacted]40, and it was sold by a seller with the username fromse76.

Subject: Assistance Needed with eBay Account I require urgent assistance from eBay technical support. Recently, my eBay account's country and phone settings were changed without my knowledge. I have removed all previous shipping addresses and added new, up-to-date information to avoid any issues. Despite selecting the correct +[redacted] International country code for Macau, the system keeps defaulting to +[redacted] for Monaco. Additionally, the system keeps switching my country address from Macau to Monaco, even after multiple attempts to update and save the correct information. I have contacted the Help Desk, but unfortunately, no action has been taken to rectify the problem. I have tried using different devices, clearing browsing data, changing connections, and utilizing various Wi-Fi networks, but the issue persists. I am concerned that my shipments will be sent to the wrong country if this matter is not resolved promptly. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Warm regards, H.W.

Subject: Account Assistance Needed on eBay I need urgent assistance from eBay technical support. Unexpectedly, the eBay system altered my country and phone settings without any prior notice. Despite my efforts to delete all previous shipping addresses and input new ones, the system continuously reverts to incorrect details. I have been trying to save my correct country code for Macau, +[redacted], but the system defaults to +[redacted] for Monaco. Additionally, the system keeps changing my address from Macau to Monaco, causing a significant concern that my shipments will be misrouted. Even after numerous attempts, including using three different notebooks and clearing history and cookies, the issue persists without any resolution from the Help Desk. I am at a loss for what to do next. Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, H.W.

I need assistance with a situation regarding a phone I sold. The buyer opened two cases about the item, but I believe the cases should not have been opened as I provided pictures of the phone's condition. The phone works perfectly, but she wants to return it due to a black dot that has been present for 2 years without affecting performance. I specified on my account that I do not accept returns. I planned to give her a partial refund of $50, but I had to wait for my paycheck. It seems unfair that she received a refund and I was charged without a chance to defend myself. I need help resolving this issue.

Hello, I made a guest purchase a few days ago and received a shipping confirmation email, but it did not include a tracking number. When I try to contact the seller on eBay, they ask for my phone number, which I prefer not to provide. How can I request the tracking number for my order without giving my phone number? The item I purchased is an ESTIM E-STIM TENS UNIT WITH 4 ADJUSTABLE RINGS CONDUCTIVE from a UK seller for £16.99 (Item number: [redacted]66, sold on 26 Nov, [redacted]). Additionally, when I checked my eBay account that I haven't used in years, it shows that I joined on 10 May, [redacted], from the United States. This information is incorrect as I have been a member for a longer time and I live in Ireland. Why does my account show this incorrect information? Thank you for your help.

Hello, I recently purchased a $[redacted] Cobra exhaust from LeClare Powersports on eBay. I was unaware that the seller was utilizing the Global Shipping Program to deliver my item until I checked out, making this my first experience with the service. After reading several negative reviews about the program, I contacted the seller to try and intercept the shipment, but unfortunately, it was already on its way. The seller advised me to reach out to Pitney Bowes regarding the shipping. Due to an ongoing strike at Canada Post, I sent multiple messages to the Pitney Bowes shipping center in an attempt to avoid my package being sent through Canada Post. Despite my efforts, my item eventually arrived at their facility, leading to a delay in delivery. The initial delivery date range was set between Nov. 30 to Dec. 4, but it has now been pushed back to Dec. 7 to Dec. 11. I am disappointed and feeling quite frustrated by this experience. While other items I purchased have already been delivered, this particular item is still in transit. I am a fan of eBay, however, I believe the Global Shipping Program they use is subpar. I think eBay should reconsider using this service or explore alternative programs, especially since customers are paying more for slower delivery times. If my item does not arrive by the promised date, I will request a full refund by calling in to cancel the order. Transaction ID: #65R58535HS139644L Global Shipping Transaction#: 8XG62295X[redacted]0 Tracking #: UPAAC[redacted][redacted] Thank you, Dan

I purchased an LG V20 from a seller named Intellicom1, believing it was unlocked to use on my carrier. Despite initially being able to activate it, the phone locked me out. The original company confirmed it was not unlocked and requested specific information to unlock it. When I asked the seller for the details, they claimed not to have them. I requested a replacement phone with a return shipping label, but they ignored me. To make matters worse, after complaining, they raised the price on the item. I am now without a functioning phone and $[redacted] poorer. They have not refunded me or attempted to resolve the issue despite my repeated attempts to contact them over several days. I have since purchased another phone elsewhere and now simply want a refund for the unusable phone from Intellicom1.

I recently listed a Gold Squash Blossom necklace for sale, but due to a misunderstanding with one of your agents, I entered the wrong price. Initially, I intended to start the auction at $3,[redacted] with a buy now price of $4,[redacted]. I contacted a helpful agent, possibly located in Ireland, to rectify the situation after a buyer ignored my request to cancel their bid. Despite my clear communication that the necklace was priced at $4,[redacted], the same buyer continued to bid. This has left me feeling disappointed as I believe there was a mistake made, both by me and possibly by eBay in our interaction. I want to make it clear that I will not honor this purchase due to the buyer's actions. I appreciate the assistance I received from the two kind agents I spoke to. Thank you, Maya.

After receiving a damaged item, I contacted the seller to address the issue before leaving feedback. I politely requested a $5 credit for the inconvenience. The seller declined the credit but offered a full refund and to cover return shipping if I sent the item back. Despite the seller's offer, I decided to keep the item and repair it. I left neutral feedback to reflect the situation. Following this, Ebay contacted me about their feedback policy, which I found frustrating as I believe I did not engage in extortion. I wanted to share my experience honestly while being fair to the seller.

As an active eBay member since [redacted], I have encountered a recurring issue that frustrates me. Sellers sometimes cancel transactions by falsely claiming the item is damaged or unavailable when it sells for less than expected. Recently, I experienced this when trying to purchase item #[redacted]28. The Seller canceled the transaction citing damage, but has not provided any evidence despite my request for pictures. To address this problem, I suggest that eBay requires Sellers to provide proof of item damage to prevent them from backing out of deals unfairly. This change would create a more equitable environment for all eBay users.

Hello, My eBay account is [redacted] I have been shopping on eBay since January, focusing on collecting coins from around the world. I am thankful to eBay for providing me with a platform to pursue my hobby. This year alone, I have spent at least $20,[redacted] on various purchases. Recently, I was shocked to discover that my account has been blocked by eBay. Despite making multiple purchases in November, many items have not been shipped, some were even canceled. I am unable to contact sellers or respond to their messages. After carefully reviewing eBay's policies, I am confident that I have not violated any rules. I am an honest buyer and passionate about collecting coins. One incident that may have triggered the block was when I used a UK shipping address to reduce shipping costs for a coin purchase. I could not find any eBay rules prohibiting the use of different shipping addresses. I kindly request eBay to review and reinstate my account, as I have built valuable relationships with top coin sellers that I wish to maintain. I acknowledge the hard work of eBay's security team and hope to resolve this issue promptly. Best regards, Hu

I utilized HTML5 code to upload self-hosted videos showcasing a similar version of my current product listing. The HTML5 coding appeared to work seamlessly as the videos played even after updating the listing and logging in and out while using Chrome and Firefox browsers. I ensured the listing was mobile-friendly using the appropriate tool. However, the day following the video uploads, I encountered an error on my listing stating, "No video with supported format and MIME type found." The videos were in MP4 and WebM formats with the correct codecs. HTML5 inherently supports these formats without the need for additional software. I am wondering if eBay supports HTML5 or any other embedded video coding for sellers to showcase product videos. I understand that eBay prohibits "active content," but HTML5 should not fall into that category. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
