I purchased an iPhone 5 from eBay from a seller named the Mobile Guys. Unfortunately, the phone was locked, even though this was not mentioned in the original listing. I followed the necessary steps to return the item on May 1st but have not yet received my refund as of May 5th. I provided all the tracking information to eBay customer service on the day I returned it. I am just following up on the status of my refund. Initially, I made the purchase as a guest but later used [redacted] for communication.

Dear Customer Support, I require assistance regarding an issue with a postal service transaction. I would like to review all my transactions, ensuring that the tracking numbers were provided within the handling time and are accurate. The specific item causing trouble has the number [redacted]47. The latest transaction involves a buyer with the ID terranovazul3476, with a payment date of 21Apr18 and a shipment date with tracking on 24Apr18, all within the handling time. Recently, I received a call from Armenian Official Post named "HAYPOST" LLC, stating that there was an error in the tracking number provided to me. The incorrect tracking number is RC[redacted]32AM, and the correct one is RC[redacted]93AM. I have requested a new receipt reflecting the accurate tracking number to provide to EBAY as evidence. I possess both receipts, one with the incorrect number and the other with the correct one, showing the American address where the parcel was shipped. I kindly request to update the tracking number for the shipment to CARLOS CORTES-TERRA, MIAMI [redacted] to the accurate one, RC[redacted]93AM, to maintain my seller performance status of providing tracking within the handling time. I am prepared to share scans of both receipts if needed. Thank you for your understanding. Best Regards, Levon. I urgently need to remove the defect from my seller performance related to "tracking being added within handling time".

Thank you for your response. I wanted to update you as I mentioned in my previous email that my husband recently passed away. Currently, I am stationed at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska for training before leaving the country. I have arranged for eBay's Money Back Guarantee program to handle the sale of the car. The vehicle is at the Military Logistic Department on the base and can be shipped to you at no cost, arriving within 2 to 3 days. You will have a 5-day trial period upon receipt, and if you are not satisfied, I will cover the return expenses. To proceed with the purchase, kindly provide your full name, shipping address, email address, and phone number for eBay's notification and further transaction details.

Last year, I purchased a lab bench power supply, which I have used minimally. Recently, I tested its current limiting feature for the first time, only to find it malfunctioning - when I reach the set limit, it continues to increase voltage and current with a loud, continuous screeching sound. Despite reaching out to the seller, they have not responded. Upon reviewing my order details, I discovered that the listing was ended by the seller due to the item being lost or broken, indicating they were already aware of the issue. This renders the power supply useless without a functioning current limiting function. Unfortunately, since the purchase is from some time ago, I am unable to initiate any requests on eBay.

I recently received shipping information regarding my order, but upon checking with the shipper, they do not recognize the tracking number provided. The contact telephone number and name associated with the tracking info do not match any details related to my recent orders. I have been expecting the tracking information to be available by now, but unfortunately, it is not. The email I received stated that my order has been processed and is ready to be shipped, providing a tracking number. However, I am unable to track the package. The email advises checking after 24 hours for tracking details to appear on the site. If needed, I can contact the seller through eBay Messages or phone.

I purchased an 86Wh 2F8K3 Battery for my Dell Alienware on eBay. Unfortunately, I received a defective item on March 28th. The seller agreed to exchange it and requested I return the battery. When I inquired about the return shipping costs, the seller promised to reimburse me. However, after I returned the item, the seller closed the request without sending a replacement and only refunded the product cost. Despite my attempts to discuss the shipping charges, the seller has been unresponsive. I am unable to locate the "Ask eBay to Step In" button on the platform to involve eBay in resolving this issue. I feel I need eBay's intervention to ensure my Money Protection due to receiving a faulty item, which has caused me both time and financial loss. I seek assistance with this matter from eBay support.

Subject: Account Suspension Query
I reached out via email regarding my account suspension, but it has been over 48 hours without a response. Below is the content of the initial email I sent:
Hello, I am confused about the suspension of my account as I haven't engaged in any selling activities. I created the account to find a Blatoro 95 backpack. After making a purchase that was later canceled and then inadvertently buying the same item from the same seller at a slightly different price the next day, I realized my mistake. I even messaged the seller about the prices and asked about a green color option. However, this second purchase was also canceled. I ended up paying twice for canceled orders, and now while awaiting my refund, I received a suspension notification which has left me concerned. Kindly clarify what missteps I have taken in this situation. Thank you, eBay.

I purchased two rugs - a 70s wool Rug carpet in green and white with a Vintage Mid-Century Design Retro Panton Era Rya ([redacted]85) and a 70s wool Rug Runner Carpet in green with a Vintage Mid Century Design Retro Panton Era Rya ([redacted]97). However, upon receiving the rugs, I noticed that the colors were not the same as depicted in the listing images. The seller has acknowledged that white lights were used to enhance the colors in the photos. I have taken my own pictures under natural lighting to accurately show the true colors. While the seller agreed to accept the return, they are insisting that I cover the return postage costs. I believe this cost should be the seller's responsibility since the items I received do not match the listing. I have evidence in the form of photographs and messages from the seller confirming the use of enhanced lighting in the listing images. I am requesting that the seller cover the return postage expenses, as I should not bear the financial burden for receiving items that do not match the original listing.

I have encountered an issue with a package being returned due to an incorrect address, despite being told I refused the item. Since March 29th, [redacted], I have been trying to resolve this matter. After spending an hour and a half on the phone with overseas customer service, I received no resolution - only a credit coupon. The seller agreed to resend the item if I paid $2 through PayPal, which I did, but they have still not sent it. Despite contacting eBay, they have not assisted in getting my money back. I am frustrated with this situation, as I am out the cost of the item and the additional $2. I have decided to order from a different seller to avoid further complications.

I recently sold a perfume to an international buyer who has turned out to be quite deceitful. This individual cleverly positioned themselves as both the buyer and the seller on a Chinese website. They advertised for a partner to assist in selling goods on eBay by handling shipments. The scheme involved the buyer sending the product if sold, with the seller printing postage and mailing it out. The buyer promised a 25% share and requested the remaining 75% be sent to a specified account after the sale. However, the buyer was indeed the perpetrator, using false addresses to claim non-receipt of the items, then filing for a PayPal refund after 10 days. This scam has reportedly caused financial losses in the United States, and authorities are now pursuing the individual in Europe.

The seller falsely claimed the item is in Australia, but it is actually being shipped from Hong Kong. Despite requesting a refund and to stop the shipment, the seller has not responded. Immediately after purchase, I asked for a refund to prevent shipping, but the seller has been uncooperative. The seller's misleading information about the item's location led me to believe it was in Australia when purchasing it. The seller's store indicates free shipping via Couriers Please from NSW, Australia, but the actual location proves otherwise. I have raised a complaint with eBay regarding this seller's misleading practices. The customer service chat transcript reference number is SR# 1-[redacted]30 dated May 9, [redacted]. It is clear that the seller is violating eBay's rules and code of conduct.

I am a new user on eBay and recently bought a Vintage [redacted] Blonde Cabbage Patch doll. The order has been confirmed for shipment to PO Box [redacted] through the Global Shipping Program. I paid $[redacted].15 for the item using a credit card on PayPal. There were two separate transactions, one to the seller and one to the Global Shipping Program. I received an email from stainedglasssonia asking about my new status on eBay, but I was unable to respond. Subsequently, I received another email from eBay informing me that my account has been suspended due to concerns about recent activity. They have removed my item listings and explained that the suspension is a precautionary measure to protect the community. I'm unsettled by this action as my credit card is in good standing, and I would appreciate clarification regarding the suspension. Thank you.

My account was locked because of a suspected security issue, which has happened multiple times before without any actual threats. I have various devices I use for eBay, and this frequent locking is frustrating. Please either unlock my account immediately or provide a valid reason for the suspicion. A suggestion to improve your system is to freeze accounts, send an email for verification, and only unlock upon confirmation. Your current authentication process needs reevaluation as it is causing unnecessary inconvenience.

I purchased a 5.5 mL L'Oriel Lash Serum from seller Stitchy11 on 24 March [redacted], received on Tuesday 7 May [redacted], but the item received contained only 1.6 mL. Despite the seller admitting the mistake and offering a 50% discount, it was applied without my acceptance. I emailed the company at "[redacted]" on 8 May [redacted], expressing my disappointment and proposing a 20% refund instead of returning the product due to the significant difference in volume. However, I have not received a response from them yet. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter.
Sincerely,

I am requesting to have my name, John Mojonnier, removed from the eBay description for the book "11:11 - Stories About the Event". My name is incorrectly listed as the author, which is not accurate. The actual authors of the book are Heather Marie Margaitis, Oscar de los Santos, J.J. Sargent, and Emily M. Olson who collectively use the name MOJO. The erroneous listings can be found under the sellers "betterworldbooks" item numbers #[redacted]64 and #[redacted]42, as well as "thrift.books" item numbers #[redacted]72 and #[redacted][redacted]. I have already contacted "betterworldbooks", who mentioned this is an eBay issue, and unfortunately "thrift.books" does not have a contact number or email published. I kindly request that my name be removed from the listing and replaced with the correct authors. Please confirm the changes via email. Thank you, John Mojonnier.

I bought a Samsung S7 in February this year from eBay. It was advertised as a clean phone, but after 3 months, I got locked out because it was reported lost or stolen from Rent-A-Center. I called the number on the screen and was told it was due to an outstanding balance on the phone. The seller advised starting a return for a full refund, but it has been over 30 days, so I can't find the return option. I've emailed the seller four times asking where to send it back, but haven't received a response. How can I get my refund?

I reached out to the seller regarding a missing cord. Initially, the seller did not disclose that the charger was not included in the listing. Following my inquiry, the seller was uncooperative, claiming to have informed me later via email, which I cannot find. The seller's response escalated, providing a hard-to-decipher screenshot with the alleged disclosure. This lack of clarity raised concerns for me.
Upon inspection, my wife discovered scratches on the iPad, contrary to the seller's assurance of no visible marks. When challenged, the seller accused me of causing the damage, an unreasonable assumption given the circumstances. It appeared the scratches resulted from normal wear and tear. The seller's behavior, including insulting my wife and shifting blame, was unprofessional, prompting suspicions about the item's origins.
The seller's disrespectful behavior and baseless accusations, including targeting my wife, have made me question eBay's seller standards. Facing a continuous stream of insults and disputes, I now intend to return the item.

I recently purchased the Cooling Fat Burner Machine for $89.99. After reading the enclosed information, I noticed a caution about use for individuals with Rheumatoid Arthritis, which made me concerned as I have Lupus, another autoimmune disease. I called the provided phone number for clarification and haven't received a response since I contacted them on Saturday. I am unsure if I can use the product with my condition and prefer not to keep it if it's not suitable for me. Although I will consult my Rheumatologist on May 16, [redacted], typically they advise contacting the manufacturer for such inquiries on non-invasive products. I had initially emailed my query before the purchase, and now seek assistance as I await a response. Thank you for addressing this promptly. Sincerely, B.A. [redacted] [redacted]

I do not sell anything and I am unsure why I need to pay the latest invoice amount of £42.48 from April 30, [redacted]. The new activity applied to this invoice is £0.00, and the amount due as of May 15, [redacted], is still £42.48. There is no new activity invoiced yet. My current balance includes United Kingdom VAT. I checked my account activity, and there are no preferences set to download invoices periodically in CSV format. It seems like no files are available for download. There is an option to personalize the invoice now and customize it to calculate fees based on my sales. This could include postage transactions and group transactions in various ways. eBay is suggesting to try this feature to enhance savings.

After reaching out to EA support for assistance, I encountered a predicament with an item I sold on eBay. I provided the buyer with an activation code for Battlefield 1 (PC Origin Code) and received payment via PayPal. Subsequently, the buyer initiated a payment dispute with their financial institution, resulting in PayPal ruling in their favor due to seller protection policies concerning intangible products. Despite evidence of a legitimate sale, I incurred charges totaling $58.50 as the buyer was refunded, and eBay's final value fee and the chargeback fee were applied. PayPal attempted to resolve the issue with the buyer's financial institution, but the matter was not resolved in my favor. Regrettably, I am at a loss of $23.50 for an item I no longer possess. I am seeking advice on how to recover the initial payment and chargeback fee from the buyer.
