I purchased a carburetor for a string trimmer. Unfortunately, the item I received does not match my trimmer, nor does it resemble the picture on the product page when I made the purchase. Following a return request that was approved, the seller advised ebay that they had provided a return label, which I have not received. Despite my efforts to communicate with the seller through three rounds of messages that included requests for various pictures, including the shipping label on the original box, I am unable to provide some of the requested information as I do not have the original box. I am having trouble locating the "ask ebay to step in and help" button. I believe that I should not be responsible for the return shipping costs due to the seller's error.

I am here seeking help regarding a scam I encountered on eBay. Someone claimed to represent eBay Motors to sell a car on their behalf. They sent me an email with information about the car and instructed me on how to make payment for it and for insurance. Unfortunately, I lost $[redacted] to these scammers pretending to be affiliated with eBay. I have saved the text messages and emails related to this incident. I have been a loyal and top-rated seller on eBay for 9 years. Recently, I encountered a frustrating issue when trying to link my business bank account for payouts. Despite numerous calls over the past 2-2.5 months, my bank account wouldn't connect. After persistent efforts, a supervisor whitelisted the account, but a new restriction prevented payouts. Each time I called, I was told to wait 48 hours for the payment team to resolve it, but the issue persists. As this job supports my family, not receiving payouts for 2.5 months has been incredibly challenging. There are $12,[redacted] pending funds, and the delay is causing significant stress and hardship.

Hello, I need some help with a situation. I put up a vehicle for sale on eBay and agreed to pay the seller fees. However, I was surprised to find out that I needed to provide my credit card information to eBay for payment, as I have always used PayPal for all my transactions for years. I informed eBay about this but have not received any response from them. Due to this issue, my eBay account has been restricted. I want to settle the fees, but I prefer to do it through PayPal to safeguard my information. I have unfortunately experienced identity theft in the past, which ironically happened through eBay.

Hello, I have been a seller on eBay for two months. I have successfully sold over [redacted] items without any complaints. I dedicated a lot of time and effort to creating my listings and ensuring the highest level of service for buyers. Unfortunately, I recently received a permanent ban on my account, which has come as a shock to me. Selling on eBay is my full-time job as a student, and it is my passion. I have even ordered more stock to sell on the platform. The ban has left me devastated as eBay was my main focus and source of income. I am willing to do anything to prove that I am a trustworthy seller. Despite receiving an initial email stating it was a temporary ban, I was later informed it was permanent, which has left me confused and disheartened. Hello Support, I bought a Snoo bassinet in March and encountered an issue with it. The Happiestbaby support team advised me to reach out to the seller, erontec, with details of the original order. Despite my efforts to contact the seller and request a return or refund, I haven't received any responses. Without the seller's cooperation, the Happiestbaby support team can't offer much help regarding the bassinet. I appreciate any assistance in engaging the seller to resolve this matter. As the seller, I recently sold four tires for $[redacted]. The buyer has requested to cancel the order, which I have tried to do. However, eBay is stating that I am short $1.60 and is asking me to add a credit card to my account for this charge. I find it strange since eBay already has my bank account information for withdrawing funds when needed. I am wondering why eBay needs my credit card details if they can already access my funds this way. Additionally, I am unsure why there is a discrepancy between the buyer's payment and the refund amount I am willing to provide. I do not own a credit card to safeguard against identity theft, and I have never borrowed money, which is why I lack a credit history. To complicate matters, eBay has notified me that they transferred the funds ($[redacted] minus eBay fees) to my bank account. I am seeking advice from eBay on how to proceed considering these circumstances. It's important to mention that I believe I have not made any errors in this situation.

In late February, I received an automobile part that did not fit. Upon inspection, I found it was improperly welded, and I promptly notified the seller in March. After several email exchanges, the seller offered partial refunds for me to either keep the part or find another use for it with partial compensation. Since I had no takers, I requested a return label. The mailing address was provided via email, but I did not receive the return label. As the purchase was made in February, I am unable to locate it in my purchase history due to another unrelated purchase of a different component that fit perfectly. I assumed that eBay had been reviewing our communications, so I did not seek further assistance, thinking we were working towards a resolution. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed to return the item and receive a refund for the purchase price. The seller's ID is usonestep, with the most recent communication from them dated April 6th.

Hello, I have an eBay shop named Topdogautographs and as a new business, we are still adjusting to all the fees. I thought that all fees were deducted automatically, and we would receive the remaining balance as a payout. On May 4th, I was requested to make a one-time payment of [redacted].53 for accumulated selling expenses. I purchased an item from Toy Maker-UK which turned out to be a counterfeit of Carl Kaubas' artwork. Despite the seller calling it "kissing cherubs" then changing it to a "cigar cutter" before the auction ended, the item bears no resemblance to either subject. I alerted the seller that it is not a cigar cutter, yet they have fraudulently taken £[redacted].18 from me. I am seeking a refund as my son used my money to pay via PayPal. Despite informing the seller and experts confirming it as a fake, they have failed to rectify the situation. I have found other lovely items I could purchase with the money this seller wrongfully obtained. The seller's name is Ashley from Stockport, but it was not provided on the box, which came without an invoice. I have reported this to the authorities but have not received a response from eBay. I contacted eBay to inquire about obtaining return labels for my items. They instructed me to purchase a $[redacted] gift card from Dollar General, then a $[redacted] card from Walmart, followed by a $[redacted] Walmart card and another $[redacted] Walmart card from Walgreens just to return an item worth $[redacted].60. This process seems suspicious, and I am concerned it might be a scam. I am eager to receive a prompt response regarding this matter.

I sold an item and notified the buyer that it was paid, but the payment never showed up in my bank account. Consequently, I didn't ship the item. When I tried to refund and cancel the transaction, it seemed to have gone through. However, now Ebay is attempting to charge me $20 for a selling issue. How can they charge me if the payment didn't come through to my bank account? This situation is entirely their mistake. I would have shipped the item if the payment had been successfully deposited. Unfortunately, the assistance provided is unsatisfactory, and I am highly disappointed in Ebay's service. This experience has compelled me to refrain from using Ebay in the future.

I attempted to purchase a [redacted] Chevrolet Tahoe and received an email supposedly from eBay with invoice #[redacted]77. The email instructed me to purchase 7 $[redacted] eBay gift cards. When calling the phone number provided on the invoice, the person who answered did not have any information about the Tahoe and did not identify themselves as an eBay representative. I decided to end the call. However, the same number called me back and this time identified as eBay customer care. I am concerned if this is a scam.

As an Ebay seller, I am apprehensive about a buyer named Raymond Howard (jeanell54) who has no buying history but purchased over $[redacted].00 of my merchandise. I made a purchase on April 6th, and even after two weeks, the seller hadn't shipped the item. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, I received no response. I found the same item from a different seller at a lower price and decided not to request a refund or cancellation from the original seller on eBay. When eBay contacted the seller, they refused to cancel the order. The seller still hasn't shipped the item, and there is no tracking information available even after 30 days. Despite my efforts to contact the seller, I haven't received any responses. I believe the seller might be fraudulent. I need assistance with my recent purchase of 2 Mighty Max batteries from eBay seller Ecomelectronics. I bought them on 1/18/[redacted], received them on 1/24/[redacted], and only installed them on 4/15/[redacted] due to a lack of help. However, the batteries are not holding a charge for more than 3 hours, causing my wheelchair to lose power rapidly. After speaking with an Invacare technician, I learned that the acid batteries I purchased do not last long and should be gel-filled instead. I contacted Ecomelectronics, who provided prepaid labels for me to return the batteries, which they received on Wednesday, May 03. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to them for a refund or replacement, I have not received any response. I am currently without a wheelchair until this matter is resolved. Requesting assistance urgently.

The delivery status of my item shows as "delivered," but I have not received it. I am concerned about the tracking number provided as it cannot be found on any parcel tracking site. When I truncate the number to EA[redacted], it oddly shows as Amazon Logistics, which is confusing. Additionally, searching this number on Amazon Logistics' tracking system yields no results. I seek guidance on how to provide the requested documentation to eBay.
