I was browsing Facebook Marketplace and came across a truck I wanted to buy for $2,[redacted]. To make the purchase, I had to buy four Apple Cards at $[redacted] each. The truck was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but today I received a message asking for an additional $[redacted] to be sent to eBay for customs clearance. Feeling unsure, I reached out to eBay Motors to cancel the deal and requested a refund of $2,[redacted]. I also contacted the seller. I'm having trouble accessing the buyer details for my eBay Motors sale on 3/11/23. I've checked under Selling and Shipping, but couldn't find the information I need. I'm aware that eBay expects a cut from the $[redacted] deposit, but the buyer won't receive it unless I can access the necessary details. I've spent around 40 minutes going in circles trying to find assistance on the Help page, but it seems unhelpful without an option for "Something Else." I'm skeptical if this platform is an effective means of contact.

I contacted the seller, and they confirmed that the item does not match the VIN number of my vehicle. They suggested I keep the item due to the high return shipping costs. Despite proving my self-employed status as a sole trader multiple times, eBay insisted I convert to a limited company. Unfortunately, my account was suspended in early March [redacted] without a clear reason, disrupting not only my life but also impacting the African suppliers who rely on my business. I seek assistance in reinstating my account and understanding why eBay is enforcing this change. I came across a car on a marketplace, and the woman I spoke to mentioned the total cost was $[redacted], including shipping. To proceed with the purchase, she instructed me to obtain four $[redacted] eBay gift cards as eBay handled the car sales. After sending the initial $[redacted], I was informed that an extra $[redacted] was required. I then requested a refund but have not received a response yet. Before taking further action, such as contacting the Better Business Bureau or Fox 2 News, I hope to resolve this issue appropriately.

I purchased an eBay gift card to buy tickets from Ticketmaster by calling the number provided online. Unfortunately, it seems like I fell victim to a scam! I couldn't use the gift card on the Ticketmaster website even though I have an account. This situation is frustrating, and Ticketmaster should address this issue promptly. Despite their lack of customer service representatives, I had to reach out to them through a message, and now I'm waiting for a response. It's incredibly frustrating when all I wanted to do was buy tickets. Additionally, they asked me to buy another $[redacted] gift card, which caused me to react strongly. I am now skeptical if the person will actually call me back. Let's all be cautious and watch out for individuals using American names but asking for unusual requests.

I purchased a slip from the seller Toplar who promised free returns, but the return process has been incredibly frustrating. Despite numerous attempts to request a return shipping label, I only received a photo of the label through eBay messages after threatening to involve eBay customer service. This method is unusual in my years of shopping on eBay. I screen-captured the label and took it to my local postal store for printing. Upon tracking the package, I was surprised to see it was already out for delivery at my address without me even sending it. This lack of transparency and strange business practice has left me feeling uneasy about leaving the package with the carrier. I am reaching out to eBay for assistance in this matter.

My name is Brett R., and I attempted to purchase a [redacted] Chevy Silverado [redacted] for $[redacted] from the seller, Charlotte K. Unfortunately, I have not yet received the truck or a refund. I have been unable to reach Charlotte, and the reason I have not received the vehicle is due to an unexpected $[redacted] insurance test fee that was not disclosed in the invoice. I believed all shipping and handling costs were covered in the $[redacted] payment, made using four $[redacted] eBay gift cards. I have retained all relevant information, including receipts. I have reached out to eBay customer service, specifically Richard H., who requested an additional $[redacted]. I explained my inability to pay this amount and requested a refund, but I have not received any resolution despite contacting them over a week ago.

I have been overcharged and would like to request a partial refund. The listing indicated a starting price of $70 and a buy it now price of $72, with shipping costing $20. Therefore, the total should have been $92 plus tax. However, in the transaction details, it showed as $92 plus $20 for shipping, but my final bill amounted to $[redacted].64, which is over $20 more than expected. I only noticed this discrepancy now as I may have accepted the PayPal amount without reviewing it. I have attempted to locate the original listing without success.

Hello! My email is [redacted] Good morning! I have contacted you several times, but I have not been able to resolve the issue I have. Last year, I posted a bike for sale, and an eBay user purchased it. It turns out that at the time the user bought it, the bike was no longer available, and I had forgotten to remove it from the sale. The buyer filed a complaint right away, and I wrote to him asking to cancel the sale, explaining it was no longer available, but he did not accept it. Since then, eBay has been charging me for the sale even though the bike was never sold. I have tried to fix the issue via phone and messages, but nothing has worked. I purchased an iPhone from eBay, and the seller shipped it through Evri on Monday. Tracking information indicated that the item was delivered on Thursday, but I have not received it. After contacting the seller, they discovered that the item was dropped off at a different location than the one specified on the box. The seller advised me to check that address, which I did, but found nothing there. I have filed a request, and the seller is now insisting that the item was delivered correctly.

I am in the process of returning a jacket I received that is the wrong color. The website showed a brown leather jacket, but I was sent a bluish-gray one instead. When I started the return process, I accidentally selected the wrong picture, and now it won't allow me to proceed with the return. I am frustrated by this situation and would like it rectified promptly. I simply want to return the incorrect bluish-gray leather jacket and receive the brown one that I initially ordered. Thank you.

I have been attempting to have someone reach out to me to address a negative experience with an order. I have already explained the situation multiple times and I am in urgent need of resolution. I followed instructions to wait three days for the seller's response, then was advised to contact your customer service team, which I did. The representative I spoke with instructed me to get in touch with your team again so that you could assist me in obtaining a refund. I have been trying to do so for the past two hours. Last December, I noticed that some coins I listed on Ebay were missing. I sell these coins to help support my income, which relies on social security. After investigating for a couple of months, I discovered that a visiting friend was taking the coins. I had to cancel numerous orders due to them being out of stock, which was caused by the theft of the coins. Sadly, my Ebay account got restricted, and now Ebay profits more from my coins than I do. Despite being a loyal Ebay customer for many years, the way I've been handled is unacceptable. I canceled the orders for valid reasons, and unless this restriction is removed, I will close my long-standing account and find another platform to sell my coins on. It's disappointing how Ebay has treated a loyal elderly customer like myself.

I shipped an iPhone to a buyer in DE via USPS, and the tracking number indicates it was delivered at 2:00pm today. However, the buyer claims they did not receive it and suspects theft. My eBay funds are on hold until tomorrow but the buyer has already initiated a refund request, freezing my funds. I am concerned this might be a scam. I provided all listed items and accurately described the product in the listing. I am seeking advice on how to address this situation promptly.

I recently considered purchasing a car online through what seemed to be eBay. However, upon contacting the private seller, I was required to pay using eBay Cards for insurance purposes, with a promise of a refund.
