I responded to a seller's offer for item number: [redacted]42 by placing a bid that was accepted. The seller informed me that the item would be delivered by the 19th of May, despite both of us being in the UK. However, the seller unilaterally canceled the order, citing that the product was damaged. The seller expressed apologies for the inconvenience. Interestingly, the same item is now available for sale on eBay under item numbers [redacted]15 and [redacted]94.

Hello, I need assistance as my eBay account was compromised. I received an email notifying me of unauthorized access and changed my password which seemed fine. Later, eBay reset my password for safety, locking me out of my account as I do not have the new password. The password reset link provided in the email appears invalid due to the dots in the URL, rendering it inaccessible. As a result, I cannot access my account, which eBay's action caused after I initially rectified the situation. I intended to call for help, but was discouraged by a [redacted]-minute wait time. I recently signed up for a business account on eBay as a new sole trader to begin selling my products. Having purchased a basic shop and started listing items without making any sales yet, I was surprised to receive an email this morning suspending my account (MC999) due to unspecified concerns. Despite only selling bedding, soft furnishings, and giftware, I am unsure why this action was taken. I am unable to contact eBay directly as the email came from a No Reply address, the help site is unhelpful, the chat function is automated, and the phone line redirects me back to the website. I am seeking clarification on the reasons for the suspension, whether it is temporary or permanent, and guidance on how to resolve this issue as it has caused me significant distress.

I purchased a set of mandolin strings from a seller, but when I tried to install them on my instrument, they broke with even the slightest tension. I requested a refund from the seller, who initially agreed but has not followed through despite promising to do so after work. When I left a negative review warning others about the poor quality of the strings, the seller mentioned that they won't issue a refund because of the review. They advised me to contact eBay for further assistance. I believe that leaving a review shouldn't affect my eligibility for a refund, and I am seeking guidance on how to resolve this issue. Good morning, I had negotiated the price for Item ID: [redacted]94 at £[redacted].00, but was surprised to see it jump to £[redacted].60 on the payment page. The supplier explained that the additional £25.60 was for UK VAT, added by eBay. This extra charge was not disclosed in the advert, which I find unacceptable. I have not proceeded with payment due to this lack of transparency. I have made purchases from China before without encountering such practices. Moving forward, I believe all additional charges should be clearly stated upfront in the advert and terms. I am disappointed by this situation and seek a resolution. Best regards

I am having trouble accessing my account as it has been temporarily blocked. Despite receiving reconnection emails from Ebay, I am not able to find them in my inbox. I have contacted customer support multiple times and was informed the problem would be fixed within 24-48 hours. However, it has been 5 days and the issue remains unresolved. **Update:** I discovered the problem lies with my Yahoo email account. It was directing emails to the deleted folder without my authorization.

I never made a purchase through eBay, but came across an ad by Mr. Malik (bondsports). After contacting him for more information, he directed me away from eBay to sell me the item directly. The main issue is the Vespa Sprint Veloce. The ad (No.[redacted]7 [redacted]) is misleading and the item I received was in poor condition, unsafe to ride, and would require costly repairs to make it roadworthy. Mr. Malik has a history of deceptive advertisements claiming to have sold many items. I am currently in a legal dispute seeking a refund as Mr. Malik is avoiding contact. I suspect another seller advertising a similar scooter from the same location may be related based on the background in the photos.

I recently bought a Kenwood kMix blender, but it stopped working within just 2 weeks. I reached out to the seller, but unfortunately, they were not helpful. Following the manufacturer's advice, since the product was faulty within 30 days, it should be the seller's responsibility to replace it or provide a refund. However, the seller is refusing to do so. I am now turning to Ebay to help me resolve this matter by either ensuring the seller replaces the product or refunds me. I have also involved PayPal's resolution center, but they advised getting eBay involved due to the product being used.

In [redacted], I purchased multiple domains to promote eBay Products as an affiliate. I faced difficulties setting up Wordpress websites for campaigns to advertise the products effectively. Realizing the need for proper training, I decided to invest in online education. However, I encountered an issue with my eBay Affiliate Account. Every login attempt led me to a different account, indicating a possible breach. This situation has discouraged me from selling on eBay. I am requesting assistance from a Senior Member of the eBay Complaint Team to investigate and resolve this issue promptly. I seek the restoration of my original eBay Affiliate Account with all campaigns intact. The unauthorized access to my account is impeding my business plans and benefiting others unfairly. If not resolved, I will involve the Domain Hosts to put the domains for sale and share my experience publicly.

The email address of the seller is [redacted] Despite the advertisement stating "fast email delivery," there was mention of Royal Mail delivery. When I requested the E-Voucher details via email to use it promptly as intended, the seller responded, asking for a printscreen of my purchase for further review. I complied with their request, but since then, there has been no additional communication. This has occurred before, and unfortunately, I did not receive a refund on that occasion. I am hopeful the seller will promptly provide me with the voucher details so that I can reap the benefits of my purchase. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I received Product number [redacted]92, a vibration plate, with a crack. The seller denied the damage stating it was fine when shipped. Upon inspection, I noticed an old crack with dirt along the rim, which I managed to clean off partly. The crack seems pre-existing as there was no damage to the wrapping or box. The eBay listing had minimal pictures, mostly of the instructions, with one showing only the middle section of the item. Despite the seller's claim that returning the large item is an issue, I am willing to return it. I believe the damage did not occur during shipping as there's no harm to the packaging. I can provide pictures upon request, and I have already shared them with the seller.

I have been attempting to address this ongoing issue without success and now suspect eBay of fraudulent activity. I listed an item on eBay over a month ago, and the platform is requesting verification of my bank account through microdeposits. Despite speaking with a representative more than two weeks ago, who assured me the page was reset and that I would receive additional microdeposits within 3 to 5 days to process my payment, these deposits have not been credited to my account. I am still awaiting payment, and the delay is unacceptable. It appears that the representative provided false information about the deposits, causing me significant inconvenience and financial harm. This situation, in my opinion, constitutes fund withholding and potential fraud. My eBay experience has been extremely negative, leading me to decide to cease using the platform and share my negative encounter with other users. I demand prompt resolution of this issue, or else I will escalate it to the financial ombudsman and file a complaint against eBay for failing to release my funds.

I sold an item, which has been delivered, but the funds are still showing as on hold. The system indicates there is no payment method linked to my account despite displaying my bank and PayPal information. This new payment process is confusing compared to the previous straightforward method. I don't see how this new way "safeguards" anyone since I haven't received my funds even after the successful delivery of the item. Who compensates for the lost interest or the inconvenience of not accessing the money? The delay in releasing the funds is concerning as I have completed the sale, shipped the item, and it has been confirmed as received. I am eager to receive my money promptly.

I purchased a chair cover on eBay, but it arrived in poor condition and not as described by the seller. I contacted the seller for a possible refund, and they requested photos and the order number. We have been exchanging messages since April 27th regarding the same information. I returned the item with a tracking number through Royal Mail and provided proof of postage, but the seller is still not acknowledging it. I believed that according to eBay's policy, if an item is not as described, the purchaser should receive a refund.

I recently bid on an iMac monitor, but mistakenly realized after winning the auction that it requires a 3-hour journey to collect in person. I notified the seller about this before the auction ended, but I have now been informed that I won the item. I am unable to travel to collect it in person and would only accept it if the seller agrees to pay for postage. I initially bid by mistake and did not realize it was for local collection only. I recently received a refund for an item that never arrived. I closed my account, and your customer service advisor contacted me and reactivated my account. Now, I can't sign in. The message states that you have temporarily suspended my account. Why was this done? In addition, you issued the refund for the item I did receive, and I left feedback for it. The second purchase from this seller has still not arrived. It seems like there may be some confusion, similar to what happened with the seller previously. Should I close my account again?
