I recently purchased an Office Chair, but I have concerns about its quality. I am trying to return it to buy a different one, but I am facing difficulties contacting the seller. eBay's responses seem automated, and the seller is unresponsive to my return request. I want to return the chair in its original box, which I have only opened slightly. I realized the chair was not suitable as soon as I saw it. I need eBay's assistance as the seller is not cooperating. The quick delivery has now left me with an unwanted chair. I expected a swift return process, but that seems unlikely now. I am unable to purchase a new chair until I receive a refund. I am hoping eBay can step in and help resolve this issue promptly, as my options are limited at the moment. Hello, I am a seller on eBay and I recently listed an item for sale. After the buyer claimed to have paid for the item, I noticed that the payment was not reflected in my account. eBay's customer service advised me to verify my account, and although I completed this step, the funds are still on hold. They sent two microdeposits to my account as part of the verification process, confirming that my account details are correct. Despite this, the payment from the buyer has not been processed. eBay insists I ship the item to receive the funds, approximately €10, but I have expressed my frustration and requested to cancel the transaction. eBay continues to mention that the money is delayed in the system and requires another account verification. The process of providing more details, such as the long card number, feels excessive when they already have my account number and sort code on file. I recently received an email from eBay informing me that my account had been secured due to potential unauthorized use of my login details. The email mentioned that eBay reset my password and advised me to create a new one. Upon attempting to reset my password, I encountered a loop where the sign-in box reappeared and didn't accept my old password. Clicking the 'Reset Your Password' button only brought me back to the sign-in box, preventing the password reset process. The same issue occurred when using the 'Change Your Password' link in the email. This problem has left me unable to access the eBay site and view my ongoing transactions. Despite attempting to contact eBay via phone, I only received a recorded message directing me to their website, which I cannot reach. I would appreciate prompt assistance in resolving this urgent matter.

I am facing two issues with eBay. Firstly, eBay is requesting me to update my bank information, although there have been no changes or problems with my bank account. I have attempted to verify my account three times using micro deposits, but none have been successful. Secondly, a buyer who won an item from me and is located in China is unable to make the payment. I am interested in reaching out to the previous bidders to offer them the product instead. This situation is making it difficult for me to sell on this platform. I placed an order for the Halloween Animated Skeleton Pirate. However, the seller claimed the item was returned to him even though I never received it. After asking for a re-delivery, they were reluctant to provide tracking information. Despite my patience, the item still hasn't arrived. I have tried reaching out to the seller multiple times with no response. eBay's policy states it's now too late for a refund, which is frustrating as I paid for the item in good faith. It's concerning to see other buyers having similar issues with this seller. I feel there is a lack of buyer protection in cases like this. I urgently need eBay's assistance in resolving this matter as I can't afford to lose the £90 I spent, especially with rising expenses. Hello, Good afternoon, I am new to eBay. I recently sold some men's T-shirts, and I made an error by entering the wrong carrier for the tracking number. This mistake made it appear as though the items had not been delivered. After noticing the error, I corrected the tracking numbers with the accurate carrier, and now they all show as delivered. I acknowledge that this error on my part may have led to the suspension of my account, as it may have seemed like I sold the items, kept the funds, and didn't send the items. I understand how this situation may have appeared, but you can verify my mistake by checking that all items have been updated and shipped, as evidenced by the feedback I have received and the correct tracking numbers provided. I came across a shark steam mop at a discounted price. I made an offer of £50, which was accepted, and I paid for it. After realizing there was no feedback on the account, I messaged the seller expressing my concerns. They reassured me it was fine, so I proceeded with the transaction. However, I later found out that the item belonged to their ex-husband and they were reluctant to sell it. I insisted that I had already paid for it. I purchased a rug in February and found it wet on my patio with no notification on Saturday, April 9th. I contacted the seller about the missing rug and received no response. Despite buying two more rugs from the same seller and contacting them multiple times, they refuse to take the wet rug back. I want to return it unopened, but the seller claims it's outside the 30-day return policy. I believe this is unfair as I couldn't return it within the timeframe due to not being notified by the courier. I just want a refund of £27. Thank you for your help.

I received this response from eBay regarding the incorrect item I sent and the seller's refusal to provide a return label on April 7, [redacted]. eBay mentioned that the refund for the item was initiated on a specific date, which was indicated as INR_DATE_REFUND_WAS_INITIATED. They advised that I would receive the refund shortly and to monitor the case details for updates. Up to 01:00 on Tuesday, April 13, [redacted], I have not yet received the refund. I am uncertain about the significance of INR_DATE_REFUND_WAS_INITIATED in the response.

Please clarify as the item was shipped a month ago, and I haven't been informed of any issues. Order Status: Paid Order Number: 18-08[redacted]6 I noticed the open dispute for this order. Apologies for the delay, it was shipped on Dec 22nd. Can you confirm the shipping address? Order Status: Paid Order Number: 02-08[redacted]9 Regarding the dispute opened, you purchased an IMice mouse on Dec 21. The product was delivered on the 24th. I purchased the Cobra Evolution Pro-Fit race seat (Item No [redacted]08) on January 17th from Matty Evans. The item arrived on February 2nd. I contacted him on February 5th via eBay to inquire about returning it because it was too big for my car. After some back and forth, they scheduled a collection for March 16th, which went smoothly. However, despite multiple calls and messages since then, I have yet to receive my refund. Every time I call, I am given excuses or promises that are not fulfilled. This whole experience has been frustrating, as I believed I was dealing with a reliable seller, but it seems that is not the case.

Recently, I listed a TV for sale on eBay to raise funds for a deposit to move out of my current home, as my partner and I are separating. Unbeknownst to me, my partner purchased the TV back because she wanted to keep it and needed a transaction record. However, my account has been suspended, and I have not received the funds necessary to move out. My partner has confirmed that the payment was deducted from her account, but I have not received any funds. I kindly request the release of these funds to facilitate my move, as well as an address change. Alternatively, if releasing the funds to me is not possible, I ask that you cancel the transaction and return the funds to my partner so we can make suitable alternative arrangements. I am attempting to update my payment method due to changing bank accounts with the banking switching service. Upon following the instructions provided, I encountered issues with the automated verification process. Despite numerous attempts, the system fails to update my details after approval from my new bank, Nat West. Manually entering the information required me to provide details from my previous bank, Barclays, which I am unable to access. I have also tried to register a new credit card, encountering repeated timeouts during confirmation. The current account information on file is outdated, and the linked cards are no longer in use. I urge eBay to address these issues promptly, as the current situation renders the account unusable.

I ordered a product on March 23, [redacted], for an event on March 27. I paid for it at 9:14 a.m. The seller claimed to dispatch it on eBay on March 25. However, it was not posted by Royal Mail until March 26 at 9:26 a.m., causing a delay. If the seller had truly posted it on the 25th as stated, I would have received it on the 26th. Unfortunately, I didn't get it until the 28th. Consequently, I returned it to the sender as it was no longer needed. The seller is now refusing to refund the £1.99. I wish the seller had shipped the item promptly, just as I promptly paid for it. It's frustrating to be without the product and out of pocket due to the delay in posting.

I keep receiving this message from eBay: Just wanted to inform you that your eBay account has been secured because there is a possibility that someone may have used your login details without permission. We understand that this can be worrying, but please be assured that your account and personal information are safe. Your eBay password has been reset to ensure that only you can access your account. I've clicked on the link provided, but it prompts me to log in. When I attempt to log in, it notifies me that my account is 'locked' and requires a password change. I then click on the link provided again and it asks me to log in once more?

My account was compromised, and both my email and password were altered. On April 3rd, I contacted EBay for assistance. On the same day, I set up a new account using the email [redacted], which was the original email linked to my old account. The representative I spoke to deactivated my old account and advised me to wait until it was fully cleared before contacting them to restore the email back to [redacted] The new account was deactivated because eBay only allows one account per email address.

Hello, I listed an item on eBay on April 1st. The buyer requested my bank details and mentioned that payment would be released upon proof of shipping. I provided proof of shipping and sent the item. However, the buyer stated the bank needed the package to reach them before releasing the payment. It's now April 7th and my payment is still pending. The item is currently at a collection point in Swansea due to a missing return address. I've contacted the post office but they couldn't assist without a return address. I received an email from eBay stating that my account was secured because my login information might have been used without my permission, and that eBay had reset my password. However, when I attempted to reset my password, the sign-in box kept reappearing, not allowing me to reset it. The same happened when I tried to change my password through the link provided in the email. As a result, I am unable to access the eBay website and view my transactions. I have attempted to contact eBay by phone, but I only received a recorded message directing me to the website, which I am unable to access. How can I reset my eBay password if the website does not allow me to do so?

I made a guest purchase of a hot melt glue bookbinder from IndustryVillage on April 13th. My order number is 26-08[redacted]6 and the item number is [redacted]38. The estimated delivery date was April 20th. I have been contacted 11 times by [redacted] regarding a delivery delay of 20 to 30 days, which I cannot accommodate as I will be unavailable until after May 20th. Despite my attempts to reach out to the seller, I have been unsuccessful. I have encountered difficulties responding to their messages as I receive an 'invalid question' error or I am prompted to open an account, which does not lead to any resolution. I am seeking assistance in conveying my situation to them as I am unable to find a way to respond. If this matter is not resolved, my last resort will be to attempt a cancellation through Barclaycard.

Hello, I recently purchased a car off eBay last week. The seller insisted that I see it in person and provided his mobile number. When I met him, he had five others with him, all talking at once, making me uncomfortable and pressured to buy the car with cash. Upon getting home, I checked the MOT, mileage, and history, finding discrepancies. I contacted the seller for the service history and bills, which he claimed were being mailed to him. He recently called from a private number saying there's no history for the car. I later discovered he has multiple listings with false advertising on eBay, including the one I purchased. I have verified this through VOSA MOT check. It seems he's deceiving buyers. The seller's eBay name is adams4motion from Manchester, specifically Rochdale. If you require his address, let me know.
