I need assistance retrieving an important conversation with text messages and pictures dated prior to January 10th, [redacted]. This data was on my old phone, but local storage does not go back that far. Additionally, my Google Drive backup from that period seems to have vanished. The other user involved confirmed they deleted the conversation, so neither of us has it in our backups. I am hoping WhatsApp can help recover it from their database, possibly before the end-to-end encryption was implemented. If recovery is impossible, I would appreciate information on when messages were deleted or a record of past conversations with specific users on certain dates. I am willing to provide the other user's phone number and encryption code for support to retrieve this data. Your urgent assistance in any of these recovery options would be greatly appreciated.

Hello WhatsApp Support Team, I inadvertently had my number blocked due to a situation outside of my control. My lack of disabling the "who can add me to groups" feature left me vulnerable to being added to unwanted groups by anonymous individuals. These unknown users made me a moderator and began sharing inappropriate content without my knowledge or consent. Regrettably, my account was subsequently banned by WhatsApp without my permission. The individuals responsible for this misconduct used fake numbers making it difficult to track. I urge you to review the circumstances and kindly unblock my number to allow me to adjust my settings and use WhatsApp to connect with my family. Thank you, WhatsApp Support Team.

I am unable to update my WhatsApp status for my friend's birthday. All features are functioning except for the status update. I have contacted customer support over 10 times, but have not received any response yet. An error message keeps appearing stating, "Something went wrong. Please try again later. Unable to send. My WhatsApp account was hacked, and I suspect the hacker is now using it on another device since I can't access my account or recover it. I've already waited for over 12 hours and tried entering the code I received, but it didn't work. I'll have to wait another 12 hours now. My phone is safe with me and not stolen. Could you please log out my number from the current device so I can receive a verification code? Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I received a message in my native language from a contact requesting a six-digit code sent to me urgently. Upon providing the code, my WhatsApp account was hacked. Despite numerous attempts to recover my account by entering the access code sent each time, WhatsApp fails to recognize it. Despite the correct code, repeated login attempts result in the same error message prompting me to enter the code again. The hacker continues to use my account, posing a significant privacy concern. My WhatsApp Business got banned this morning for unknown reasons. I had switched to a business WhatsApp using my business number, [redacted]8, for my upcoming project called "THE BOSS REALITY TV SHOW" scheduled for February. I completed all the required documentation, including providing the business address. We also have a Facebook account under the same project name. If this number remains banned, it will have a severe impact on the project, leading to significant financial losses. I am seeking the restoration of the number and all pending information on it.

My father's two WhatsApp numbers have been hacked, and someone else is using his accounts, putting his privacy at risk. They have activated a two-step verification code, blocking our access to the accounts. We have taken legal action due to the hackers sending abusive messages to his contacts. We urgently need to delete these compromised accounts. His name is Milan Bijay Biswas, and the affected phone numbers are +[redacted]05 (Airtel) and +[redacted]10 (Jio). It is concerning that Whatsapp seems to be neglecting user privacy. We have reached out to Whatsapp in the past but only received automated responses. This situation is now a legal matter, and we kindly request prompt action. We can provide evidence of the case filed (GDE copy) and seek your immediate attention to this pressing issue that is causing distress to all involved.

Hello, I recently upgraded to a newer Samsung phone and needed to transfer data from my old Samsung device to the new one. Unfortunately, during the transfer process two days ago on January 17th, my husband inadvertently caused me to lose all my WhatsApp chat history. This has been quite distressing for me as I had important and personal information stored in those chats. While all my WhatsApp contacts have transferred to my new phone, the chat history did not. I have attempted to access the old phone to retrieve the data, but after entering my name, WhatsApp just gets stuck on a screen that says "initializing" with a spinning circle that does not lead to any progress. My WhatsApp account was hacked, and the hacker is asking for money from my contacts. I've already reported the issue to the police, and they've opened a case for me. The hacker approached me through a Facebook friend, Sarita Rubio from Naples, FL, who messaged me after many years of no contact. She asked for my phone number under the pretense of losing it, which seemed plausible. Today, she messaged me on Facebook saying she sent something to my regular text and asked me to send it to her Facebook. I fell for it while rushing for work and shared it with her on Facebook. This led to me receiving SMS codes and losing access to my WhatsApp. A friend informed me of the strange money requests sent to my contacts. I uninstalled WhatsApp, but I can't recover my account as it doesn't send me a new SMS code. Can anyone help me with this situation?

On November 30th, an unsettling situation unfolded for me in which around [redacted] messages from a private chat with my mother were inadvertently shared with four individuals: a family group chat, two relatives, and a friend. This incident took place in the UAE. I have taken the step of filing a report with authorities in the UK, and the reference case number for this matter is NFRC[redacted]84. Should you require it, I am prepared to share a copy of the report I lodged. Leaving my laptop unattended at my residence in Dubai as I headed off to university in Ajman at 10:30 am seems to be the point where this breach occurred. Despite my multiple logins to WhatsApp Web on my laptop, I had neglected to sign out before departing. To my shock, upon connecting to the university Wi-Fi and opening WhatsApp on my iPhone at 12:30 pm, the flood of messages transpired. Given the content of these messages, the specific recipients, and the fact that they originated exclusively from my mother's chat, suspicions have surfaced that this was a targeted attempt at defamation against me and my family. It is my belief that one of my relatives exploited my WhatsApp Web connection to propagate these messages. In response to this distressing event, I promptly logged out of WhatsApp on all associated devices.

I was promised a poultry farming book by a man who asked for my WhatsApp number. However, after he called me, I realized my WhatsApp account was blocked and asked for a Two-Step Verification pin that I never set up. The man requested a [redacted] naira recharge card to unblock my account. I am unsure about this process and would like WhatsApp to send the six-digit Two-Step Verification pin to my email at [redacted] so I can regain access to my account.

I believe my account was mistakenly banned as I was added to a group sharing illegal content without my knowledge. On the night of January 26th, I joined a group chat called “CHILD PORN” while not using the app. The next morning, finding the disturbing notification, I promptly left the group. Upon opening the app, I discovered a suspension notice. I have since been attempting to contact WhatsApp support to resolve this error. I have no association with the individual who added me to the group chat and do not have them in my contacts. Thanks for your attention.

One of my Facebook friends, Paty Rodriguez, asked me to connect on WhatsApp for a favor. Initially, she sent me a text message with a link and requested me to pass it on. I complied, but when she said there should have been two links, I hesitated. Upon receiving the second link, I decided to check it first and found out the first one was a phishing attempt. It redirected me to my Facebook account, compromising my WhatsApp. Now, scammers are reaching out to my contacts pretending to be me and asking for money. I urgently need assistance in disconnecting or canceling my WhatsApp account to prevent further fraudulent activities.

I recently fell victim to a chain happening in India. One of my college friends messaged me, asking for a mistakenly received OTP. Naively, I shared it, only to realize the message wasn't from my friend but from a hacker who had taken over his WhatsApp. This scam is spreading, as another mutual friend experienced the same issue.
