I am having trouble checking the balances on my 4 Visa Vanilla cards. When I attempt to access the information on the OneVanilla website, it indicates that the card number I entered is invalid. I have checked the card number, expiry dates, and CCV numbers directly from the cards. I also called the phone number listed on the website, but it is automated and I cannot reach a live person to address the problem. I urgently need to know the fund balances on these cards. My daughter received 2 gift cards that turned out to be invalid despite being fully loaded. She lost $75 without a receipt, which is frustrating. I find your system to be unfair. If someone pays for a card and loses the receipt, the money shouldn't just go to waste. When I called customer service, all they could do was apologize. With other reputable companies like Walmart or LaBay, I've never encountered this issue without a receipt. Your service is subpar, and I won't be purchasing your cards again. I will never buy Vanilla again. It's frustrating that you have to wait 90 days to get your money back when your card is stolen. In this case, the thief managed to order goods from Finishline before I could stop it. I want to know the entire process and ensure this person is prosecuted for fraud. It's disappointing that Vanilla didn't prevent the transaction. Now my son is missing almost $[redacted], unable to use his last $10. It feels like we, as consumers, are left to deal with the loss, while Vanilla and Finishline got paid. I purchased a Vanilla Visa at the Shell gas station in Boones Creek, Johnson City, Tennessee. The card has "no registration" and other issues preventing me from using it to pay my Straight Talk phone bill. After loading $70 onto the card, I am unable to register it, causing frustration. Someone spent $[redacted] from my Vanilla gift card. I contacted customer service and initiated a dispute. After receiving a dispute form and number, I followed up today, but the dispute was not processed. When I provided the dispute number, the representative could not find it, so I had to start the process over. Unfortunately, before she could send me the forms via email, the call got disconnected. I recently purchased a Vanilla Debit Card, but I am having trouble activating it as it keeps showing as invalid. I contacted Vanilla's customer support using the number on the back of the card, and after a lengthy 40-minute call, I did not receive any assistance. I even went back to the store where I bought the card, and the receipts confirm that the card should be activated. I visited the Vanilla Visa gift card website to check the balance of a gift card I received at Christmas. The site showed the correct balance of $[redacted].00. However, when I went to use the card at a store, I discovered that someone had stolen the information from your website and used it in a different state from where I am located. I am greatly disappointed in the lack of security on your website, as this incident has made me a victim of fraud. I have already filed a complaint, but now I have to wait an additional 45 days for the disputed transactions to be resolved. I urge you to take action to prevent this from happening to me and other customers in the future. This situation is completely unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. The customer is unhappy with the service provided by Vanilla. They mentioned a lack of security protection on their card leading to unauthorized charges. Even though the charges were reversed, they are dissatisfied with the delay in receiving a replacement card after it was reissued on Nov 22, [redacted]. Despite contacting Vanilla on Jan 7, [redacted], they were informed they would have to wait an additional 7-14 business days for the new card to arrive. The customer requested expedited shipping but was denied. When asking to speak to a manager, their request was refused. The customer finds it unfair to have to wait so long for a replacement card.
