My husband suffered second-degree burns on his leg and was prescribed Silvadene cream by the doctor. Despite applying it heavily after showering multiple times a day, we ran out quickly. When we tried to refill the prescription on July 17th, we were informed that our insurance wouldn't cover it until August 9th, leaving us to pay $42.73 out of pocket. The burn will take at least three weeks to heal, and we are concerned about not having the necessary medication. I'm 73 years old and worried about potential infections. I would like to email photos of the burn to request reimbursement. If this cannot be resolved, I may have to consider changing insurers. James H., Policy #[redacted]50, DOB: July 18, [redacted].

I am seeking guidance on enrolling in Medicare as I will be turning 65 on Monday, the 7th, and need to complete the process promptly. Currently overseas in Ghana, Africa, I will return in October and update my mailing address accordingly. Due to limited phone access in Ghana, I rely on the Whatsapp app under my American number [redacted] for communication. As a Medicaid member, I am interested in maintaining my Medicaid coverage and incorporating Medicare into my plan. Kindly provide me with the necessary information and options available for this transition. Your assistance is highly appreciated.

Hello everyone, I have encountered unexpected costs with my claims. Dr. Jervis' two claims, Medical Claim # DX[redacted]9 and Medical Claim # DX[redacted]8, were denied, and I am seeking clarification on the reasons for this. Additionally, the amount charged for Dr. Culiford's surgery seems excessive for a minor procedure. I am hoping to understand the rationale behind these charges and explore the possibility of appealing to reduce my outstanding balance.

I have been attempting to claim the free Fitbit offer. I began online, filled in the necessary information, and was directed to open a Google account, which charged me full price twice. When I tried live chat, I was advised to contact Fitbit directly, but I preferred not to. After calling UHC and providing my details multiple times, I was left waiting with music and then disconnected twice. Today, I called customer service again, spoke with Shane, who transferred me to another person after taking my details once more. Upon reaching an abuse line and enduring that, I decided to hang up as this was not the assistance I required. If you can help me acquire the complimentary Fitbit, I would be grateful. Thank you for your understanding.

Dear Staff,
I am a patient who has been using the drug Tupezza for the past six months to treat my Thyroid Eye Disease. The results have been fantastic, with a significant reduction in eye swelling and improved vision. Despite these positive developments, my recent approval for Tupezza has been unexpectedly rejected due to a new requirement by United Healthcare for T.E.D. patients to take a steroid medication before obtaining approval.
As someone who relies on Tupezza for my eye health and daily activities like work and driving, I am concerned about the impact of this interruption in my treatment. I was not previously informed of this new prerequisite and am now seeking clarification on the medication I need to take before reapplying for Tupezza coverage.
I kindly request United Healthcare to reconsider their decision and provide me with the necessary information regarding the steroid medication required for approval. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention and assistance.
Sincerely,
Leslie Simon

My name is Leslie S. I have health insurance through UnitedHealthcare commercial health plan Stericycle. Member ID: [redacted]29. Health Plan: 80[redacted]6-04. Group Number: [redacted]. Date of Birth: 06/16/[redacted]. Address: [redacted] Irish Town Road, Oakhill Apartments, Apartment 2B, North Versailles, PA 15[redacted]. Gmail: [redacted] I recently filed a complaint about UnitedHealthcare stopping coverage for my thyroid eye disease medication Tepezza. After speaking with representatives, it seems there is confusion. They mentioned I am approved for Tepezza until October 28th in their system, but a new rule starting August 1st requires thyroid eye disease patients to have Intravenous steroids before Tepezza. I was responding well to Tepezza but still have double vision, fearing my condition might worsen. I am seeking clarity and assistance with this complicated issue. The way UnitedHealthcare has handled my treatment and medication is concerning as a patient with a serious eye condition.

I do not have a usable OTC card. It was rejected by two different stores over the last two days, preventing me from purchasing bottled water. As someone with stage 2 CKD, I urgently need a new card that works. If my request is not met promptly, I will have to escalate this issue. I am 69 years old with just one kidney, making this matter critical for my health. I will take this matter to the necessary authorities if not resolved immediately.

I'm an individual looking to enroll in a new plan through the NY Marketplace. I need to confirm if Vivo Infusion or the Specialty Infusion Center at 2 Westchester Park Drive in West Harrison, NY, is within the network. I also want to know if Soliris is covered when needed for off-label use that meets the medical necessity criteria.

My mother, G.B., was previously in a nursing home, but her health deteriorated. I had to bring her home, but due to her declining health, I may need to find another facility for her. I suspect fraudulent activity by the nursing home regarding Medicare billing. The facility reportedly provided therapy for swallowing issues due to an esophageal hernia, but my mother's condition worsened to the point where she can no longer eat or drink. I am certain that they never administered the prescribed therapy or adjusted her diet accordingly. Additionally, the medication records seem suspicious, showing unnecessary antidepressants. Despite holding power of attorney, the facility failed to involve me in her care decisions and operated covertly.

I received a certified letter from Petersville Family Care about an amendment to your participation agreement, excluding you from the UnitedHealthcare Individual Exchange network. The letter mentions that you won't be included in the network of participating care providers and that no action is required from your end for this change to take effect. I'm confused whether I'll still be able to participate or not due to this exclusion.
