I placed an order with McDonald's. The delivery driver called to say she couldn't find my place, despite clear instructions and previous drivers having no trouble. After guiding her over the phone, she abruptly hung up and left without delivering. I was still charged for the order she claimed to be waiting on. I have the call log and time as evidence. It's frustrating to be charged for food I didn't receive due to the driver's actions. I request a complete refund for the £16 order. I am also an Uber Eats customer, further adding to my disappointment. Order #594F4 from McDonald's on Sir John Robinson Way in Nottingham.

I ordered food from Wimpy through Uber Eats last Friday. Despite Wimpy claiming the food left the restaurant hot, it arrived very cold. The driver took a long time to deliver and expressed concerns about the temperature. I have been trying to resolve this issue through the app but haven't received any meaningful updates on my refund. If the food had been warm, it wouldn't be as big of a problem, but it felt like it had come straight out of the fridge. I spent over £30 on this order and I am looking to get a refund before considering ordering from Uber Eats again.

I recently placed an Uber Eats delivery order, providing pre-added instructions for deliveries due to my new property. Despite previous deliveries following these instructions without any issues, this time the driver refused to adhere to my instructions. Consequently, I lost my order and was wrongfully charged for it, which is unacceptable. I clearly communicated the instructions to the driver through the app messaging feature and over the phone, even though there may have been a language barrier with the driver. I emphasized that detailed delivery instructions were included in my order. I am requesting a refund for the total amount charged as I did not receive the food I ordered, and it is unfair to be charged for a service that was not provided as expected.

I am disappointed by my recent experience with Winstons Pub and Grill. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and chips, paid for my order, but then received a cancellation notice just 10 minutes later. Not only did I not get my food, but I also did not receive a refund. This is unlike my experiences with Mr Delivery, where they promptly credit my wallet if there are any issues. It's frustrating that the restaurant accepted my order when they were closing down. I am requesting an immediate refund and also seeking an explanation for what happened. If this issue is not resolved satisfactorily, I will be deleting my account and avoiding future purchases from your establishment. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

I used the McDonald's app to order food for my children. We were charged, but after waiting almost 2 hours, the food never arrived and now it shows the order has been cancelled. My children are hungry, and I can't get a clear answer from anyone. The Uber Eats app doesn't show the order, even though we placed it through the McDonald's website on Uber Eats. My husband mentioned this is the second time this issue has happened when we ordered from the Peterborough Brotherhood McDonald's location.

I ordered food from a local restaurant located just 2 minutes away. Unfortunately, the food arrived cold. I reported this on the Uber app and received the following response: "We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about this, ‍Sabrina staff." I understand the frustration of expecting a dish to be at a certain temperature and it not meeting expectations. We have procedures in place to address this feedback with the restaurants, so please know that your concern has been noted. Thank you for reaching out, and we value your patience. I am currently unwell at home and simply needed something to eat; however, I received inedible food that cost £18. I am unsure whether the fault lies with the carvery or the way the food was handled, possibly a combination of both. I am requesting a reimbursement for this experience. If I were feeling better, I would have returned the food myself.

I ordered $29 worth of food and could only drink the soda, as the food was too spicy without mild sauce, and it spilled on the French fries. The hand pie was extremely crunchy on the outside where it was put together, with hardly any apples inside. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and will likely be the last. My pick-up order number was [redacted] under Linda S. Please try to address this issue. I do not wish to pay $29 for something that is inedible. I called the restaurant, and they advised me to go through Uber Eats.

I made an order from Ubereats at Fry-days Fish and Chicken in Chingford. The delivery has not arrived after nearly two hours. I attempted to contact them by phone, but it's constantly busy. They appear to be closed and might not be able to deliver, potentially due to the weather conditions. On the Ubereats app, the order status is still processing, not canceled. I am inquiring about the process to obtain a refund for this undelivered order.

I have already explained this situation that occurred on 07/12/22 three times to Uber Eats. I ordered McDonald's for my grandson at 8:30 pm, expecting it to arrive by 9:00 pm as per the 20-30 minute wait time on the Uber Eats app. The delivery did not arrive at the promised time, leading me to check the app multiple times. The estimated delivery time kept changing, frustrating me. I tried contacting the Uber Eats driver, who connected me to a McDonald's colleague. Unsatisfied with the response, I decided to cancel the order, only to later find out from my daughter that the food arrived cold, incomplete, and inedible at 10:30 pm. Disappointed with the poor service, I documented the issue with photos and forwarded them, expressing my discontent with the £10.44 payment for such a subpar delivery. I have taken further action by involving PayPal and raising a dispute to address this matter.

Hello, Yesterday, I made an order with Sainsbury’s through Ubereats, but unfortunately, I have not received it. The delivery person arrived around 9 pm with an order intended for someone else. Despite the mix-up, I did not accept it as it was not my order. The delivery person acknowledged the mistake and advised me to contact customer service, mentioning that the error was on Sainsbury’s end. I have not received my order from Uber Eats. I tried contacting them through the app twice, but have not received any response. I placed an order from Iceland at 5:55 PM on 10/12/[redacted]. I received a notification that it was picked up and on the way. When I got the "knock knock" message at 8:13 PM, I went to wait on the porch, but the delivery never arrived. No cars entered our street during that time. I reached out to Uber Eats through the app, but did not receive a reply.

Hello, I have recently received a partial order from Uber Eats, as delivered by the driver. The customer support team is hesitant to provide a refund due to a previous refund on my account, which was also due to a delivery error by your drivers. This time, I did not receive a complete order as the driver left before I could verify the contents. I expect an apology for the subpar customer service I experienced, especially from the manager Balal, and request a refund for this issue that is beyond my control. If my concerns are not addressed satisfactorily, I will escalate this matter to Trading Standards. Thank you.

I ordered two Subway meals today. Unfortunately, both orders were delayed, causing me a two-hour wait without any food arrival. Claudio, the first driver, initially informed me that his car broke down, and the subsequent driver, George, failed to deliver as well. Claudio mentioned someone else was on the way with the food, but it never came. When George's family answered the phone, there was a language barrier, leading to confusion. I have never experienced such poor service, with delays and lack of communication resulting in no food delivery. While I received a refund for the first order, I have yet to hear back regarding a refund for the second order, compounding the disappointing experience.

I had an unpleasant experience with one of your drivers delivering my food. The driver, Thomas, texted me rudely about tipping and then gave my order to another person. I find this behavior discriminatory and offensive. It is unacceptable to be chastised for not tipping when sometimes circumstances prevent it. I believe this is not the level of service I should expect from your company.

Hello, I'm Ruby and recently made an order from a local restaurant using Uber. Unfortunately, there was confusion when the delivery arrived. I received a notification that the delivery was here but missed a call from the courier. Upon returning the call multiple times with no response, I received a notification that the driver had completed the delivery. Despite my efforts to locate the courier, the food was not delivered. Uber's response denying a refund is disappointing. I firmly believe I deserve a refund as I made all attempts to communicate with the courier and did not receive my order. The restaurant also confirmed they did not receive the food back, indicating the courier kept it for himself. I am dissatisfied and urge for a thorough investigation into this issue. If necessary, CCTV footage can be provided for review. Thank you.

I received the wrong order and filed a complaint on the same day. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive my refund. I was informed that I am now ineligible for a refund as it has been more than 48 hours since the incident. It was not my fault that there were technical issues on your end that day. The food I received was not what I ordered, had a lower value than what I paid for, and contained items I couldn't eat. This forced me to purchase a cheap can of soup from a local shop. I am seeking a refund and would appreciate an apology for the stress and frustration this experience has caused me.

On Sunday, I placed an order with Slambugers, but unfortunately, my order was incorrect. Instead of receiving the items I ordered, I was only given a Happy Meal. I contacted the store, and they advised me to reach out to Uber Eats. My partner had to go to the restaurant to pay for and pick up the correct food. I reached out through the app but did not receive a response. I managed to take a picture of the bag, but I couldn't capture the incorrect Happy Meal due to my crying 10-week-old baby. I am requesting a full refund since I did not receive the items I paid for, paid extra for the order, and had to go back to the store to rectify the mistake. When we inquired with the driver, they were unhelpful and refused to check their bag for the missing items. I would appreciate a full refund for this inconvenience.

Today, I placed an order and the total cost was deducted at £21.07 after applying a £10 promo code. However, during payment, it displayed as £11 something and the promo code was not applied. This was a disappointing experience for me. I attempted to cancel the order but was unable to do so. This is my first time using Uber Eats and I am very dissatisfied. I would like a refund of the £10 promo amount. If this is not resolved, I will delete the app and share my negative experience. Please assist me in getting my money back promptly.

Hello, I ordered a meal from Tonton Chami via Uber Eats. Unfortunately, my order was not delivered because I allegedly exceeded the 8-minute limit. The driver did not call me; he only sent an SMS through the app, which I did not receive on time. I came down at 12:28, but he was not there. I work in a nursery, so it's easier for me to receive a call than to check text messages.
