Hello, I forgot to include my friend code in my previous message, so here it is: eats-t0hw88. This is my initial experience using Uber Eats. I typically use Just Eat, but decided to try Uber Eats with a friend's code. Despite my preferred restaurant being on Just Eat, I followed the steps: creating an account, verifying my number, applying both a friend code and a £10 off first order code from the Uber Eats website in the promo section. The discount successfully applied. However, upon checkout, the original price was charged without prior notice, resulting in me being overcharged £10. Uber Eats misinformed me by showing a reduced price at checkout and then charging the full amount later without informing me. This experience has left me feeling deceived and unfairly treated as a customer. I request a refund of the £10 discrepancy from Uber Eats.

I ordered from Favourite Chicken as a treat for my daughter's birthday. However, upon delivery, I only received 1 bag instead of the 2 that were listed on the bag. I had ordered food for 6 people, including 5 burgers, but only received 4 burgers with no fries. Additionally, an entire order was missing along with a bottle of Coke. The sub meal did not include chips, and another bottle of Coke was missing. I paid £37, reduced from £40 with a £13 discount. My husband and I had to share the sub roll as we were hungry. I would appreciate a prompt email response and a refund.

Hello Uber Eats customer service, I encountered an issue with my recent transaction. I tried to use the remaining Uber Cash from my December [redacted] Gift Card, amounting to $25.59, but the system did not allow me to utilize the balance. Instead, it requested another payment method. Additionally, the transaction on April 8th was charged entirely to my credit card instead of using the Uber Cash I had chosen. Thank you for your help. I'm sharing my recent experience with ordering from McDonald's. I used the app, and a driver named Ion was assigned to deliver my order. Unfortunately, upon checking the bag, I discovered that only the drinks were included, missing all the food items. I contacted the driver, who seemed unaware of the missing items, indicating a mix-up with another order. I placed a new order, which was delivered promptly. However, I am seeking a refund for the initial order that was incomplete. I contacted support and was informed that $7.94 would be refunded, which only covers one meal, not all six items that were missing. I am frustrated with the handling of this situation. I hope to receive a refund for all the missing items soon. If this matter is not resolved appropriately, I may have to seek legal advice regarding the missing items and the financial loss incurred through no fault of my own.

Hello, my name is Jessica. On April 12, [redacted], at 12:07 a.m., I took an Uber with my mum and a friend. Upon entering the Uber, we informed the driver of our need to be dropped off at two separate locations. The driver rudely refused, insisting we rebook. When I mentioned issues with the app, he became aggressive and accused me of being rude. Despite my polite request, he raised his voice and threatened to take us to the police. This behavior was unacceptable, especially considering I have a disability. Other Uber drivers have accommodated similar requests in the past, making this encounter particularly distressing. I feel mistreated and would like a refund for this unpleasant experience.

I recently placed an order at McDonald's totaling £24.81 for my four grandchildren. Unfortunately, when the delivery driver arrived, I was occupied with feeding my youngest grandchild and couldn't answer the phone. Despite my attempts to reach out to the driver immediately, they did not respond. I even provided detailed directions via message but still did not receive my order. The driver falsely marked the order as delivered while circling nearby without coming to my address. I have CCTV footage showing that the driver never approached my home. I am extremely disappointed by this experience, especially since the customer service on the app claimed the driver had delivered the order and refused to issue a refund. I expect a resolution to this matter and a refund for the undelivered food as soon as possible.

I would like to order Fish and chips from the Frog, but I'm struggling with an old Rogers account that I can't remember. Setting up a new account has been impossible due to security blocks. Skip the dishes set up an account quickly, but Uber is still giving me trouble. At 80 years old, most of my friends don't use computers. It's been 7 hours, and I still can't place my order. This process seems unnecessarily complex. While security is important, this is frustrating. Perhaps some market research on how older customers navigate these systems would be beneficial. Skip the dishes seems to prioritize simplicity over technobabble. My fish and chips must be cold by now!

On April 9th, [redacted], I made an online purchase through Uber Eats for food items totaling $28.18. My receipt number was 578EE, and the delivery was received at 12:43 PM in postcode [redacted] by Lee-Anne Morgan. I received only two out of the three items ordered, Tip Top Raisin Bread Toast and Kraft Cheddar Sandwich Slices 12-pack, each costing $5.00, totaling $10.00 on the receipt. I did not receive the Dandy Bacon 1kg and 24 slices of cheese, resulting in a refund of $18.18. Additionally, I was charged $14.99 for delivery fees and an extra $1.00 for the driver, leading to a total deduction of $28.18 from my account on April 13th, [redacted]. I have contacted my bank to inquire about the discrepancies in my account and the repeated deductions from Uber Eats. I placed an order at Longhorn on Sunday, April 14, [redacted]. Right after submitting my order, I noticed that one soup was missing (I ordered 2 but only 1 was indicated). I had to cancel the order and re-submit it, resulting in a charge of $32.19 for the canceled order. Despite the restaurant claiming they had already started preparing the order, this couldn't have been the case as I made the adjustment immediately. The re-ordered items, including the additional soup, totaled $51.18. I am seeking a refund of $32.19 since I did not consume the items from the initial order and ended up purchasing the same items in the replacement order, except for the added soup. I believe the restaurant did not incur any losses in this situation. Therefore, I respectfully dispute the $32.19 charge and request a full refund for this amount.

I utilized your service about a month ago using a first-time customer coupon. I noticed a $9.99 charge on 4/12, indicating a subscription I did not sign up for. I don't have an account with your company, so I'm puzzled by this charge. I wish to cancel the Uber1st subscription and receive a refund. I also want my payment details removed from your system. I encountered a dangerous situation with an Uber Eats driver today. The driver of a dark gray Toyota Prius with Nevada plate number [redacted]-SD3 or SO3, cut me off and another car at a stop sign near Greenway and Boulder Highway around 12:40 pm. The driver was a young male in his 20s with dark hair in a short buzz cut and facial hair. He even had a German flag hanging on his mirror. His reckless driving endangered me and my three young children in the car. He played a dangerous game on the road, resulting in my 3-year-old baby getting a bloody nose from a sudden maneuver. I placed an order with Dunkin' Donuts intending to have it delivered in Jacksonville, Florida, but mistakenly listed the delivery address as Middleburg, Florida. Realizing the error, I promptly canceled the order within a few minutes. Even though I canceled it quickly, I was informed that I would not be refunded. I understand that food preparation takes time, but canceling an order before it is even started should warrant a refund. It's frustrating that I am being denied a refund simply because I didn't wait 40 minutes for an order that was never processed. I used Uber Eats due to previous bad experiences with other food delivery services. I urge Uber Eats to address this issue promptly and refund the $20 I spent on the canceled order. I hope this matter can be resolved swiftly to avoid escalating it further.

I understand that the high call volume on the app can cause issues, but I was surprised by the response I got today. I received a $50 Uber Eats voucher and decided to try Uber Eats for the first time tonight. After placing a five-person order on the app and inputting the gift voucher code, the app froze when I tried to place the order. I reached out to Uber Eats Help chat, described my problem, and was informed that my issue was forwarded to their special email department, with a response promised within 24 hours. I waited for my food for roughly 30 minutes only to witness my delivery driver hand it to someone else at the end of my street. I was beyond angry. Trying to get help from customer service was a complete failure with only automated responses in the app and no phone number for immediate assistance. An email with a generic apology and no attempt at resolving the issue was the final straw. I wasted time and was still charged for a service where I never got my order. This is hands down the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I used to order frequently on UberEats, but after this experience, I'm done and will warn others about it. - W. A.

I placed an Uber Eats order yesterday for delivery today due to the 50% off grocery offer. Unfortunately, I didn't qualify for the discount as I didn't meet the £20 minimum since one item was out of stock. I contacted support through chat but was informed nothing could be done. I'm requesting a 50% discount on my order or a full refund due to being on maternity pay. It seems like the missing item was the reason for not meeting the requirement, and I suspect this was intentional to avoid giving me the discount.

Hello, I work as an Uber Eats courier and had a situation at McDonald's today. One order was ready, but the drink was delayed, prompting the customer to ask me to cancel the order. I talked to McDonald's, but they didn't seem to take any action. I learned online that if I cancel, another courier might attempt the delivery unless McDonald's intervenes. Should I have advised the customer to cancel on her end? If she isn't present to accept the order, should I leave it at her address and mark the job as unable to deliver? I am a frequent Uber Eats customer, but I am very disappointed with my recent experience. The burger I ordered was cold and hard, making it inedible. The wings and strips were also cold and tough. I have requested a refund twice through the app's customer service, but it has been denied both times. I believe it is unfair to pay a lot of money for food that is not up to standard. I expect better customer service, especially when the food is inedible. I am adamant about receiving a refund for this unacceptable experience.

I had an upsetting experience with Uber tonight. I ordered a Big Mac meal and had a difficult interaction with the driver upon delivery. He yelled at me aggressively, refused to let me check my order, and used inappropriate language. When I contacted customer service, I faced challenges understanding the representative and providing the requested information. This situation added to my stress on a emotionally difficult day, and I now feel anxious and unsafe. However, the second driver who arrived was kind and courteous, as I have come to expect from Uber drivers. Comparatively, Deliveroo's customer service has been more supportive, where representatives listen attentively and show professionalism. I believe it is the company's responsibility to fulfill orders correctly and handle complaints respectfully, which was lacking in this instance. The disrespectful behavior of your driver and unhelpful customer service representative have left me feeling shaken and vulnerable. I am requesting a refund for the order and lodging a formal complaint against the staff member involved. We suspect that Salad Haus Brighton is intentionally targeting us. We placed an order with them recently, and the order showed it was at the end of our road on our computer screen. However, the order was suddenly canceled. We received a refund, but we are uncertain if their driver was actually near us. To test this, we tried ordering through deliveroo today, and the same situation occurred; the order was shown at the end of our road, but the delivery time kept being delayed until it was ultimately canceled. This seems like a dishonest scheme that requires investigation as we are likely not the only ones affected. We seek clarification on whether Salad Haus is comfortable with treating paying customers in this manner, or if they would prefer to explain why they do not want our business. I recently had my account on Uber Eats permanently deactivated due to issues with sharing account options, even though it was simply because I bought a new phone and logged out of my old device to log into the new one. Since then, I have not received any assistance and my Uber Eats account was permanently disabled, even though I can prove my innocence by just having a new phone and transferring my Uber Eats account from the old device. I am writing this email to prove my innocence, as I adhere to the delivery rules that a driver must follow for any delivery.
