I am Samanta Krasauskaite, born on December 5, [redacted], with the National Insurance number SW701778C and email [redacted] I have recently applied to drive for Uber and am awaiting the results of my background check. On Friday, August 6, [redacted], I observed Tadas, a proficient delivery driver for your company, to learn more about the delivery process. Inspired by his expertise, the next day, Saturday, August 7, [redacted], I spontaneously used my partner's Uber account to try making deliveries as a surprise. Unfortunately, when asked for face recognition, I mistakenly used a photo of him, triggering a block on his account due to fraud detection. I regret my actions and acknowledge my error, particularly as I navigate adjusting to a new country. My partner has been a dedicated driver for Uber, and I acknowledge my lapse in judgment. I recently had an Uber Eats promotional offer for $30 off my first order. During checkout, my PayPal payment was declined, and I intended to add another payment method. However, the app did not prompt me to do so until after my original payment failed, resulting in me being charged the full amount. Subsequently, trying to use the promotion again led to it being marked as used. I believe this happened due to the initial declined payment. Could someone assist me in resolving this issue and reinstating my $30 promotional credit?

Dear Ubereats team, I want to bring to your attention an issue I had with a McDonald's meal I ordered from the Great Yarmouth branch approximately 2 months ago. The meal was delivered cold, and after lodging a complaint, I was offered a £4 refund, which I deemed insufficient. Despite being notified of a £3.99 credit added to my account, I could not apply it towards my next food order. I believe a proper resolution would be a full refund of the £13 I spent on the cold meal or to have the equivalent credited to my Ubereats account for future use. As someone who is currently in isolation due to being vulnerable to COVID-19, Ubereats is essential for my food deliveries. Our order was a complete mess. The restaurant seemed closed at the pickup time and we were handed a bundle of cold food. Instead of crab rangoons, we got dessert wontons. The sushi rolls were incorrect, drenched in an odd mayo-like sauce. The kids meal was soggy, missing the yum yum sauce we paid for, and cold. The broccoli entree had scant broccoli, was soggy, mostly rice, and cold. The udon was mushy, soggy, and cold. Salads were wilted and browning, miso soup tasted like salt water, and egg drop soup was okay. They informed us to pick up at 9p, then at 8:40p said it was ready, inconveniencing us. We paid $[redacted] for nearly inedible food, most of which we discarded. Disappointing experience.

Yesterday, I made a purchase from Keiano Pizza in Blyth. I encountered an issue applying a discount code for delivery after accidentally selecting pick-up. I promptly contacted the owner and explained the situation, receiving permission to reorder for delivery instead. However, despite only placing one order, a claim was submitted mistakenly indicating otherwise. The owner has assured me that only the delivery order for £12.60 with the £10 discount is valid, waiting for UBER Eats to confirm this.

I placed an order for a meal to be delivered between 8:00 am and 8:30 am this morning, hoping for a special pre-church date with my husband. Unfortunately, the delivery time kept getting pushed back and the food only arrived at 9:55 am. We had to have a neighbor collect the meal as we had to leave for church. By the time we got back, the food was cold, and the smoothies had melted. This unfortunately led to us missing our date. I am kindly requesting a full refund due to the excessively delayed delivery, which affected the quality of the meal and our experience. The Uber Eats driver contacted me to say he had arrived at my location, which wasn't accurate. Despite my attempts to clarify his whereabouts, he remained unresponsive. After calling him multiple times, he finally provided his location on the last call. It took an additional 20 minutes from the first call for him to deliver the food. Unfortunately, the whole experience left me feeling frustrated, especially having to raise my voice to get a response. Subsequently, I received a message through the Uber Eats app prompting me to update my address details, although my address was correct. I had added detailed directions months ago, which the driver appeared to have disregarded. Communication on the first call could have resolved the issue expediently. Upon arrival, the driver repeatedly insisted that it was not his fault. This incident has left me considering using Just Eat instead.

I ordered from Chick-fil-A, and after waiting almost two and a half hours with no delivery, I decided to drive to the restaurant myself to get dinner. I expect a full refund of $10.26 on my Visa card. I spoke to the manager at Chick-fil-A, picked up my order, and had my meal at home, all without receiving my original delivery. I am dissatisfied with my recent order from Five Guys Burgers on 8/16/21 through UberEats. The driver never delivered it to me, claiming he couldn't locate my address, but I never received any communication from him. Eventually, a kind neighbor found the order on their porch and brought it to me. The driver did not make an effort to ensure my order reached me. I am disappointed with the service and will not be tipping for this experience. I am disputing the charge with my Capital One credit card. I spoke with the Five Guys manager to address the issue. This incident has led me to permanently delete the UberEats app after spending hours trying to resolve this matter.

I took advantage of a $30 promotion and placed an order with Save Mart for chicken and sandwiches. Unfortunately, no one showed up, and the order was canceled. I then placed another order with Taco Bell, waited 2 hours, and called Uber Eats support to see if I could change it to a pickup since there were no drivers available. They agreed, but Taco Bell turned out to be closed, only open from Thursday through Saturday. When I tried ordering from 7-Eleven, my promotion appeared used even though I hadn't used it. I attempted to contact customer support without success as the chat line didn't recognize my previous orders. I'm still attempting to use the promotion, but the customer support line isn't available, and the chat function doesn't recognize my orders, leaving me unsure of how to proceed.

I attempted to contact your [redacted] number, but once again, it stated no representatives were available. Today, on 8/19/21, I ordered from McDonald's around 1:30 am, and the order was completely incorrect. I received only 2 fries and 2 drinks instead of my Chicken nuggets, chicken sandwich, and Filet-O-Fish. This recurring issue is frustrating. It seems like the drivers might be mishandling orders. As I am homebound with no assistance, it's challenging to reach your customer service. The previous complaint led to a mere $4 refund, which did not solve the problem. I did not request extra fries or a drink; they went to waste. I demand a full refund as my entire expensive meal was incorrect, leaving me hungry. It's disheartening that this has occurred four times recently, with just $4 refunded out of $[redacted] spent. I rely on these meals for sustenance. On the 7th, I placed an order with Uber Eats from McDonald’s for 2 Mac Chicken Sandwich meals, 1 Happy Meal, and 1 Cheesy Bites. The Uber driver called, claiming to be outside my address, but he was actually half a mile away. Despite directing him to the correct address, he insisted I meet him where he was. When I insisted again, he falsely accused me of previously complaining about him. Eventually, the driver arrived apologetic, blaming a mix-up with another customer. By then, the food was cold. We declined the order and asked him to take it back. I tried contacting Uber Eats for a refund, mentioning this issue multiple times, but they have not responded or provided any resolution. The service fell below any professional standards I have experienced. I have reached out to Uber Eats about this matter, but they have not addressed the refund request or the cold food issue. I'm Susan S. and I used Uber Eats for the first time today with a $30 promotion. It turned out to be a terrible experience. On Wednesday the 18th, I ordered from Comella's for a timely delivery, as I needed the food before 6 pm to bring it to a synagogue service. Despite informing Katherine at Comella's, my food wasn't picked up until after 5:30 pm, causing a delay. The order was eventually canceled, leaving me and my family hungry. The customer service representative's blame-shifting only made matters worse. I feel the need for an apology and a return of my promotion for the wasted time and missed meal.

I placed an order at Empire Pizza in Miami, FL on 8/21. Shortly after ordering, the delivery time increased to 2 hours and the discount vanished, adding $12 to my total. When I attempted to call, the number went to voicemail. I couldn't find their location on Yelp either. Despite contacting all businesses with similar names, no one had my order. The pizza never arrived, and the following day, I discovered nearly $[redacted] in unauthorized charges on my Uber Eats card. I had to replace the card due to potential fraud. I believed Uber Eats verified restaurants, so this situation is alarming. When I called your customer service line, there was no answer. I have encountered numerous issues with Uber Eats recently. It has been challenging to reach a real person for support. My orders have arrived incorrect on multiple occasions. I placed an order with Applebee’s on August 6, and it arrived two hours later inedible. After contacting Applebee’s, they advised me to reorder as they were apologetic and promised not to charge me. However, I ended up being charged twice for the food and tips. It has been a nightmare trying to reach anyone from Uber Eats today, and the app is not helpful, displaying only a blank white screen saying "conversation". My name is M. Good morning, I work in a condo and encountered a troubling incident on Tuesday involving a male, potentially an Uber Eats delivery person, who created a mess in one of the elevators. The individual was seen behaving disrespectfully, spitting, and causing damage to the elevator buttons. This incident has caused inconvenience and raised concerns among residents and visitors. I am actively trying to locate this individual to file a formal complaint. Many affected individuals are considering involving the authorities due to potential health risks. To Whom It May Concern, On 21/4/21 and 11/6/21, I reached out to Uber Eats about a canceled order from the restaurant's end totaling £21.85 with order number D851E. I explained that I should not be charged for an order that was canceled by the restaurant. However, this issue has not been resolved. I involved my bank, and the funds were returned. Despite this, Uber Eats continues to insist on the repayment of £21.85 before allowing me to use their services again. I feel this situation is unjust as the cancellation was not my doing, but the restaurant's. Being charged for something I never received feels like theft and blackmail to me. Regards, Vera Segu

Hello, I ordered a meal from Anatolis Souvlaki in North Vancouver, BC, Canada last Friday night. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The meal was cold, the pita and spanakopita were burned, and the spanakopitas were overly salty. I tried to submit a complaint through the app on my phone that evening but only realized on Monday morning that it wasn't sent. When I tried to submit it then, I learned that complaints might not be considered after 48 hours. I have checked this morning and still haven't received a response. I really hoped to talk to someone about this issue. Although I thought about calling the restaurant directly, I was advised to reach out to you first. I hope for your assistance as I found the $60 bill to be unsatisfactory. Looking forward to hearing from you to resolve this matter. Thank you.
