My daughter was charged $[redacted] for services she never received by a stylist at Self Hustle Suites. Despite reaching out to the stylist, she did not get a response regarding the pricing and only saw a $1 charge on her account. On 12/6/[redacted], she tried to cancel the appointment but received no reply from the salon or stylist. I had an appointment at 12:00pm on Wednesday with Ms. J. from BeastBraids through StyleSeat. To my surprise, I woke up this morning at 5:30 am to find out she cancelled my appointment and charged me $62.50 while I was sleeping. This is my first time using this platform, and I feel taken advantage of. I am unsure how to contact the stylist to inquire about the charge and cancellation.

I noticed that there were two separate charges on my bank account. I booked two appointments but somehow prepaid for both. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble getting assistance from the customer service team. Over $[redacted] was deducted without any clear information on how to receive a refund. It would be helpful if there was a contact number available to speak to a live person. In the past, I only paid a deposit fee for appointments. This current situation is unsatisfactory, and I am in need of an explanation.

Hello, I am a business owner using StyleSeat services. A client recently received a hair extension service in my salon but left without paying the remaining balance. Although she had already paid a portion through StyleSeat, her credit card was declined for the additional amount. Initially, she was supposed to pay $[redacted] for the extensions, but through an upgrade, the total became $[redacted]. I am unable to locate assistance through StyleSeat regarding this payment issue. Can anyone offer guidance or support in resolving this situation?

I received services from Renee Mayes on Thursday, December 16. Following the service, I was notified about a $31.20 tip charged on both 12/16 and 12/17. I did not agree to this tip as I have noticed a continual increase in her pricing for the same service. Additionally, there was a $1.00 charge for a booking attempt on December 13 that was unsuccessful. I am requesting a refund of $32.20 for these unauthorized charges.

I had a silk press appointment scheduled for 12/20/21, but received a text from Cory Sanders a couple of hours before the appointment, rescheduling it for 12/21/21. I have not received the service yet and am worried that you have already deducted $75 from my debit account. It seems he may not have informed your company about the rescheduling. I kindly request a refund until the hair service is actually provided. Please reach out to me as soon as possible. Thank you.

I scheduled a hair appointment for November 11, [redacted], but the stylist texted me on the day of the appointment to cancel due to surgery. Despite informing StyleSeat not to charge my card, they still deducted $75 for the canceled appointment. I have been unsuccessful in reaching StyleSeat or the stylist for a refund, and my texts to the stylist have gone unanswered.

I recently tried to support a black-owned business by booking a nail appointment through styleseat.com with Nail Camino. Despite arriving early, I struggled to locate the address and ended up waiting until my appointment time in my car. When I finally approached the location, it seemed disorganized, and the technician was unwelcoming and rushed. I expressed my concerns about the situation, and she responded rudely, threatening to charge me even if I left without receiving any service. The unprofessionalism of the encounter left me disappointed and frustrated. I hope to resolve this matter without being unfairly charged for a service I never received.

I had a scheduled appointment with the stylist Braids by Ka’Mesha for February 19th from 9:15AM to 12:00PM. I notified Ka’Mesha beforehand that I would be 15 minutes late, but she declined to accommodate me as it would disrupt her schedule. Despite booking a full head of braids, I mentioned during booking that I have less hair. It typically only takes an hour and 30 minutes to braid the hair on the top of my head if prepped. Following her refusal, I was wrongly charged $[redacted] for a service that didn't happen. When I inquired about rescheduling or a refund, she denied both. Without a working phone to cancel, I was billed an extra $30 the next day as a tip for a service I never got.

Hello, I had a 4:30 eyelash appointment on March 5th with Jade Vo. Upon arriving at the address listed on her website, I was confused as it didn't seem to be the right place. I attempted to contact her by phone and text but received no response. Unable to cancel the appointment, I left and later left a negative review due to feeling misled. Subsequently, I was unjustly charged $51 on my card for no service rendered, followed by an additional $12 charge. Despite not attending any appointments, I continue to have money deducted from my card. I am seeking a refund for these charges. Thank you for your assistance.

I had an appointment with stylist Ms. Markisia Thompson through StyleSeat, but she did not show up, so I canceled the second appointment. I waited outside her residence for over 30 minutes, left, and returned to find out she was still not home. Now, she is trying to charge my card even though she did not style my granddaughter's hair. I am unable to book new appointments due to these unauthorized charges. I tried to contact her through the app, but was unsuccessful in reaching her. I made it clear that I will not pay for a service that was not provided and I am prepared to take legal action if necessary.

I have earned over $[redacted] on the app, but only received $18. I was expecting a $33 deposit yesterday, but it didn't come through. I have proof with pictures. The deposit date keeps changing, and instant deposit access is gone. I am frustrated and demand to know where my money is. I never authorized any marketing services or subscriptions and am concerned about how my money is being handled. STYLESEAT needs to deposit the full $[redacted] into my bank account within two days. If not, I will take legal action. I have already spoken with my lawyer about this matter. I refuse to wait any longer for an update. If necessary, my lawyer will start legal proceedings immediately, seeking $[redacted] for the inconvenience and hardship caused.

I had an appointment with the hairstylist named Mira Mira in Hampton, VA on Friday, 04/15/22, at 9:30 AM. Despite arriving on time, Mira Mira was nowhere to be found. She didn't inform me about canceling or rescheduling the appointment. I was charged $75.00 through the Style Seat app for the missed appointment. Neither the stylist nor Style Seat has refunded me yet. I am disappointed by the unprofessionalism and feel like my money was taken without receiving any service. I request a refund from either the stylist or Style Seat.

Hello. As a full-time cosmetologist, I've been attempting to reach out unsuccessfully regarding issues with receiving my funds on StyleSeat. Recently, I've experienced personal challenges including the loss of two immediate family members and hospital visits since January 18th. These circumstances have affected my ability to fulfill appointments, resulting in a declined ranking from almost a top pro to below average. Hair styling is my primary source of income, and not being able to access my funds is worrying. Despite the difficulties I've faced, I've dedicated significant effort to improve my ranking over the past year. It feels unfair that due to these unavoidable personal setbacks, my ranking has dropped sharply in just one month. I appreciate your attention to this matter.

I have received payments from clients between the last week of April [redacted] and the first week of May [redacted]. I was supposed to receive my initial deposit on May 02, [redacted], but it hasn't arrived yet. Despite receiving other deposits without issues, the money hasn't been deposited into my account as of May 08, [redacted]. I initially had the option for instant deposits on StyleSeat, but it's no longer available. I've tried contacting StyleSeat through email multiple times, but I keep receiving the same automated response about the high volume of requests. Without a direct phone number to call, I'm unsure how to proceed. I urgently need this money to cover my expenses.

I received a service from the stylist known as "Big Tori" on April 30, [redacted], which was continued on May 1, [redacted]. She requested more money for additional hair, and I paid her $[redacted] in cash as she didn't accept Apple Pay or Cash App. I accompanied her to Trustmark ATM in Freeport to withdraw the money. Despite agreeing to return on May 8, [redacted], she failed to show up. After numerous attempts to contact her via calls and texts, she mentioned being in a car accident but didn't answer my calls. I asked for a refund of $[redacted] and for someone else to finish the service, reminding her that she owed me $[redacted] for the service. She has not responded to my messages threatening police involvement since May 9, [redacted]. I signed up for a client account on StyleSeat, which is the platform my hair stylist operates on. Unfortunately, I mistakenly input the wrong email address during registration, causing me to be unable to access my account. Despite multiple attempts, I haven't received any responses from StyleSeat's customer support team regarding this issue. I had an unfortunate experience with a stylist who has changed business names three times on your platform. Despite being charged twice, totaling $[redacted] and another $[redacted] due to my card being saved on StyleSeat, she has refused to issue a refund. She previously went by House of Braids, Via House of Braids, and Bebe House of Braids but has since removed her StyleSeat page and blocked my calls. Despite several attempts to reach her via email and phone, she has not responded. I was unable to use her services due to a surgery, and now that she is unresponsive, I am unsure of how to proceed to get my money back within the cancellation policy guidelines.
