Hello Technical Support, Since June [redacted], I have been experiencing issues with my Skype calls. The person I call cannot see the incoming call most of the time, and even when they do, they cannot answer. Similarly, I do not receive notifications for incoming calls. There was one instance where I saw a "missed call" notification, but my Skype was on and I did not receive any indication of the call. Even after both parties reinstalled Skype, the problem persisted. It seems like our conversations are being blocked based on the symptoms. If this is the case, I would like to identify the person responsible for the block and find a way to override it. If this problem persists, Skype will not be able to serve its purpose, leading me to consider switching to a different program. I am looking forward to your response and appreciate your assistance in advance.

I contact my parents in Ghana daily via their mobile phone since they do not have internet for Skype calls. I purchase [redacted]-minute packages for about $60 each time, but this runs out quickly, leaving me unable to call them until the following month. It's frustrating when my minutes expire in the middle of important conversations, causing delays in communication. While browsing Skype's website, I noticed that they offer cost-effective monthly subscriptions for calls to countries like India and Mexico, providing up to [redacted] minutes for $8. However, Ghana is not included in this offer. I find it unfair that I have to pay $60 for [redacted] minutes monthly while India enjoys a better deal. I've been a loyal Skype user for over a decade and believe it's time for Ghana to be included in the affordable mobile-to-mobile plan. I would appreciate any assistance or response from Skype. Thank you. - Sam

When attempting to make Skype to Skype calls using my personal account on my Macbook Pro 13 running MacOS Mojave, I encounter an error message stating "Your connection is too weak. Please try again later." Even though my Skype version is 8.34.0.78, which Skype confirmed is the latest version available, the issue persists. Interestingly, using my boss's Skype account on the same device enables calls to Australian phone numbers without any problem. My troubleshooting steps included verifying that Skype is not blocked by my firewall, conducting SpeedTest to confirm ping, download, and upload speeds, and restarting both the router and laptop multiple times. Despite these efforts, the problem remains unresolved. It's worth noting that I can successfully make Skype calls to the same contacts with an Android phone and an iPhone. Given the steps I've already taken, such as reinstalling Skype, what other solutions could I explore to resolve this persistent connectivity issue?

Hello, Natasha here from Victoria Park New World. We encountered a problem with one of your Skype calling cards. Despite being purchased recently, it appears to have expired. Regrettably, the card lacks an expiry date. The customer, who has reached out to you about this matter (job #[redacted]), was advised to return to our store. Unfortunately, we are hesitant to refund a product that may be expired or potentially already used. Our store has always had a positive experience with your products, but if this matter remains unresolved, we may need to discontinue stocking your items, especially during this busy Christmas season. We kindly ask for your prompt assistance in addressing this issue.

For the past two weeks, when I make Skype calls from my home office in Cuernavaca, Mexico, I am able to hear others clearly, but they cannot hear me. I am using a Bose Headset SoundTrue Around Ear. Despite trying different troubleshooting steps like reconnecting the headset, updating software, and changing modems from different ISPs, I have not been successful in fixing the issue. As someone who is hearing and sight impaired, hands-free Skype calling is crucial for me. I have searched online for solutions and visited your website, but the information mostly pertains to X-Boxes which I do not own. I solely rely on my desktop MacMini and Bose headset for Skype calls. I kindly request guidance on the necessary steps to resolve this matter. Thank you in advance for your assistance. In case I need to contact your support team via phone, please provide me with the contact number. Thank you. Pedro N.

Subject: Potential Phone Scam Alert Hello, I wanted to bring to your attention a phone number linked to a Skype user, [redacted], that may be engaging in a fraudulent scheme impersonating the Social Security Administration. The number appears to be connecting to individuals in India, falsely claiming there is a warrant for the recipient's arrest to extort money. I have already informed the local FBI office about this issue. I run a small phone company in Naples, Florida and felt it necessary to extend this information to you as well. Thank you, RB

I need to cancel my Skype account as I am now retired and no longer travel. I received an email regarding my 'Unlimited US & Canada 12 months' subscription that is set for renewal soon. It states that I will be charged $30.48 on Jan 8, [redacted]. To avoid these charges, I need to cancel before the renewal date. Please guide me on how to cancel my subscription as I couldn't locate the option in my account settings. Thank you.

Dear Skype, I am reaching out about my account with the ID "sonyranger." Last year, I received an email from Skype mentioning that due to inactivity, withdrawals from my account were being stopped. Unauthorized charges of $30 were made on my credit/debit card. I am unable to use my Skype account on my Mac Lion 10.7.5 as you updated the system about two years ago. This change affects my HP laser printers - models HP [redacted], Hp3330, and HP [redacted], making them incompatible with the new system. I rely on Skype for conference calls due to a monthly limit on my At&t phone of [redacted] minutes. Refunding the charges is necessary since I can't utilize Skype on my computer. The IBC fraud alert contacted me twice, prompting me to seek resolution with Skype. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a contact number. My usage history can be verified in your records. Before the update, I was a paying customer for the calling service, which allowed me to make affordable calls to my family in Costa Rica. I urgently need this matter resolved to avoid a fraud investigation initiated by my bank tomorrow. Kindly contact me at [redacted] to provide an update. Thank you, Ronald-Roy Leathers

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with logging into my Skype profile using my Microsoft account. When I try to log in with my usual username and password, it redirects me to a security verification page without progressing further. The profile it's trying to make me log into is not the one I normally use, and it's empty of all my information. I've attempted various troubleshooting steps, including logging out of all accounts, trying different devices and browsers, and even uninstalling and reinstalling Skype without success. This problem persists on both my Samsung phone and Windows computer. I urgently need to regain access to my correct Skype profile, which contains my picture, chats, and contacts. It seems that Microsoft is only allowing me to log in through an unfamiliar profile. Thank you, Lea

I cancelled my account over three months ahead of schedule in February 23, [redacted]. I recently received an email notifying me of a charge for another year until February [redacted]. I would like an immediate cancellation and a refund for any charges made. How did you obtain my new Mastercard details since I haven't updated it on your site? It has been over a week with no response from your end. Is there no other way to get in touch with you? I plan to reach out to consumer protection agencies, the Better Business Bureau of MN, and even file a complaint with the attorney general about this issue. Waiting another year for closure and being unexpectedly charged is unacceptable. Contact Details: Name: Lance W. Skype: Lance009 Email: [redacted]

I received an email from Skype indicating that I will be charged monthly starting 03/23/[redacted]. I want to ensure that I am not billed incorrectly because I paid for a 1-year subscription via PayPal. I accidentally signed up for two accounts and canceled one already. However, my account shows three subscriptions now. I only wish to keep the one-year subscription I paid for, not the C$5.50 monthly charge. I am concerned about this billing issue and the inability to contact customer service by phone. Could someone please assist me in resolving this matter? Thank you. - M.K.

My friend has a Skype account registered in the US. She is currently in Curacao and is facing difficulties adding money to her account. She reached out to me for assistance and described the issue as follows: "Ok, I’m accepting your offer to help me with Skype. I've been trying all afternoon. My local phone number is [redacted] and my number here is [redacted]4. The problem arises when I attempt to upload funds to my account; Skype sends a code to my US account, which I am unable to access. Thank you for assisting me." The account might be under the name Patricia Salas or Harlan Cohen, with the email [redacted] Please provide instructions to resolve this matter or contact me, Carol Whitehorn, at [redacted].

I recently made a call to New Zealand using my Skype international calling plan, which usually covers these calls. Surprisingly, I was charged $5 for this call, and I am not sure why. I have also upgraded my plan to include international calls but am still seeing charges for the U.S. plan, which I no longer need. This billing issue is frustrating and not very user-friendly. The new Skype system with Microsoft seems unreliable, which is disappointing. I would appreciate your advice on canceling the U.S. plan and getting a refund for the New Zealand call. Can you please ensure that future calls are covered by my international plan? Thank you, E.

A few months ago, I inadvertently signed up for an additional subscription on my Skype account. After realizing the mistake, I promptly contacted customer service, received a refund of $6.50, and was assured the subscription was canceled. Recently, I discovered that despite my actions, I have been continuously charged $6.50 per month in addition to my regular Skype fee. This is unacceptable, considering I previously addressed the issue and received a refund. I expect a full refund of all unauthorized charges as there is a documented record of the refund on my Skype account. As a disabled senior and member of Navy Federal Union, I find this situation disappointing. I should not have to worry about ongoing issues following an apparent resolution. Microsoft and Skype must ensure they rectify the problems they created. I insist that all unlawfully charged funds of $6.50 per month be refunded within 24 hours to my Navy Federal account. Once this is completed, please contact me at [redacted]

I am unable to understand why Skype is unable to verify me as the account owner. I have provided the correct information, including the last four digits of the card I recently used to purchase the Skype landline number 0[redacted], registered to me Victoria Ricketts. I have given details of other purchases and the current email [redacted] linked to my account where Skype sends purchase confirmations. I had to stop my bank from making recurring payments and am working to recover the funds paid recently for the landline. I do not wish to create a new account as I have been using this one for many years with recent purchases. Can a recovery email be sent to [redacted], listed on the account, and the secondary email [redacted]? The suggested recovery information is outdated with an old company mobile number and email address. I can provide copies of recent Skype emails for purchases and subscriptions under the account vr-international.

I have used Skype for over 10 years on my Series 2 iPad. Recently, the app stopped working as the old iPad no longer supports the new versions of Skype. I have upgraded to an iOS 12.1.4 iPad and installed Skype version 8.41.0.54. When trying to log in with my Skype username "blondiedonut," I was prompted to reset my password. Despite doing this several times, I got locked out and had to reset my Microsoft password associated with "[redacted]" Although I can log in using my email, I am unable to access my Skype account using my username. Additionally, after being charged 10 euros on December 21, [redacted], there is no credit showing on my Skype account. Only two calls were made before my old system failed, and my contacts are visible without phone numbers. How can I recover and use my account properly?

I have proof of canceling my subscription through an email and was still billed. I ended my Unlimited US & Canada 1-month subscription, which is set to terminate on Oct 12, [redacted]. However, I received a billing despite canceling. This resulted in $60 in NSF fees from my bank. The email states that the subscription was successfully canceled, pointing out possible reasons for the cancellation. I am seeking assistance with this matter as the billing occurred erroneously despite following the cancellation process.

I recently acquired a new computer as my previous one was no longer functioning. I am facing challenges with Skype post-installation: 1. Upon loading Skype, I discovered my username has changed to live:sgcuster, which is unfamiliar to me. It seems linked to my email, possibly due to Microsoft taking over. 2. When my wife contacts me, the call goes to my cell phone instead of my computer. I prefer to receive her calls on my computer while she is nearby in the next room. 3. I am struggling to access my old username and password on Skype. It appears my entire account has vanished, making it impossible to connect with my international contacts. The alteration appears sudden and inaccessible.

I am having difficulty cancelling my monthly subscription of $25 as it was set up with my husband's banking details, which are now unavailable due to his passing. I am receiving warning emails from Skype about auto-recharge being suspended, even though I currently pay as I go for £4.99. The Skype account was linked to a phone number that is no longer active. Despite changing some details and trying to cancel the subscription as prompted, I have not been successful. I am located in France and would appreciate assistance in stopping these daily warning emails. Thank you.
