Hello, my name is Brian Vera. My account has been locked again due to account limitations. This is the fourth time I've been locked out, and I urgently need access to customers' funds for materials. It's embarrassing to have to explain to customers that PayPal has held their money for no reason. I have verified my identity including providing photo ID and using fingerprint login. I am considering switching to an alternative banking source due to PayPal's unreliability. I need my account limitations lifted immediately as my funds are crucial. It's frustrating that there's no one to contact for assistance. PayPal's lack of transparency and professionalism is concerning, making me feel like my money is being fraudulently withheld.

I am unsure if the sender is legitimate or attempting to defraud me. I seek verification of the transaction before releasing my information to receive the funds. The message claims the payment is pending until I provide my card details for verification. It includes details such as the funding source, payment amount, recipient name, and order summary for a gift card. There is a reminder to open a dispute within 2 days if any issues arise. The email request insists on sending the card for verification to release the funds to the account. It emphasizes confirming the shipment and tracking number to finalize the process. It is signed as being from PayPal and provides a cautionary note about sending the card for buyer and seller security.

I received an email on March 4 regarding a fund approval of $[redacted].00 USD from PayPal. However, despite the confirmation, the funds have not been credited to my account yet. This delay is causing an issue since the purchased iPhone X has been delivered, and it has been in use by the buyer's daughter for a few weeks already. Dear Elizabeth Yates, This email is to confirm that your funds have been approved. A sum of $[redacted].00 USD will be credited to your account within the next 48 business hours. Once the money is available, you will receive a notification email from us. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the technical problems and service upgrades we are currently experiencing with our online systems. It typically takes 2-3 business days for funds to reflect in bank accounts when transferred through PayPal. Unfortunately, we are unable to verify the tracking number provided at this time due to technical issues. Rest assured, we will contact you as soon as your funds are credited and the tracking number verification is completed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Sincerely, PayPal®

A friend sent me money, which I then forwarded to another friend. However, the friend who initially sent the money claimed to their bank that the transaction was unauthorized, resulting in the funds being deducted from my account and leaving my PayPal in the negative. I received a collection notice to pay the outstanding amount, but PayPal mentioned that the case was still under review for up to 75 days. Despite providing evidence of the communication with my friend, the situation remains unclear, and speaking to PayPal agents has not resolved the issue. Now I am being redirected to a collection agency when contacting PayPal. The entire ordeal feels unjust and leaves me feeling deceived by both parties involved.

I received an email from PayPal claiming that LaTiscia Lackey sent me $50, but it was sent to an email address that is not linked to my PayPal account. I did not click on the link provided in the email as I suspect it might be a scam. The email instructs me to claim the money by a certain date, but I am unsure of its legitimacy. I wanted to ask for guidance on this email I received. Thank you for any help.

During checkout on eBay, I encountered an issue trying to use PayPal credit. The error message stated that the seller was ineligible or the currency was non-standard, advising me to shop elsewhere. This led to confusion and ultimately abandoning the purchase without informing the seller of the problem. After contacting PayPal as suggested by a suspicious customer, I was simply advised to ask the customer to try again, which did not resolve the issue. This miscommunication can be frustrating for vendors who then feel frustrated dealing with such peculiar problems. Customers sometimes base their opinion of vendors on issues caused by PayPal. It seems the PayPal promotional credit is only for PayPal credit card holders, and the separate credit departments within PayPal can lead to being transferred through different call centers.

I have been trying to get a refund from molly.com since November 13, [redacted]. I have reached out to PayPal multiple times about Case #[redacted]2, and they advised me to use the "Return Shipping on Us program" to send back the boots I bought. On March 6, I submitted all the necessary documents to [redacted] However, whenever PayPal reopens the case, it disappears from the resolution center page, making it impossible for me to follow up. I was instructed to contact telusinternational.com directly to provide my claims requirements. This process has been extremely challenging, and I have not received my $78.38 refund. Initially, I was willing to accept a partial refund, but PayPal insisted that I return the package to China, costing me an additional $23.50. Despite this, I have not received any response or my refund from telusinternational.com.

I need help activating my card. I previously contacted PayPal support, and they mentioned that my bank is not allowing the test charge. However, upon checking with my bank, they confirmed that they saw the request but it was refused. The solution is for me to have someone activate the card live so that when PayPal initiates the activation, my bank can generate a code that will allow the test charge to go through. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me during the activation process so I can relay the code to them in real time. This is the only way to proceed. My contact number is +[redacted]29. Thank you in advance.

I have been a PayPal user for 15 years, but my account is currently restricted without a valid reason. The generic explanation of "unusual activity" does not apply as there have been no recent activities. To resolve this, PayPal is asking for unnecessary bank account details, which is concerning. I urge PayPal to restore access promptly and compensate affected users for the inconvenience caused.

I've had my $47 claim rejected three times now, despite it being a simple issue. Initially, the support agent misunderstood me, resulting in a denial. The second time, we agreed on a refund, but I couldn't return the product due to being on vacation. They promised an extension and a follow-up email, but neither materialized, leading to the claim being rejected again. On the third attempt, my accepted claim was inexplicably rejected. I'm frustrated and seeking to escalate this to a manager as I've spent too much time on this already.

I have tried several times to get in touch with you and it has been very difficult. I need your help. My father, E.O., who is a U.S. citizen, deposited $[redacted] into my PayPal account on February 22. I have had this account for many years and I use it for various online purchases, including eBay, which I use the most. They are asking me for a document that I do not have because I am Colombian and do not have U.S. nationality or documentation. I have only visited the U.S. for tourism and to see family, so I can only provide a document from my country such as my ID, passport, or driver's license. Please help me as the money is currently blocked, and I have not been able to use it for my online purchases as usual. I really need it urgently. I hope you can assist me satisfactorily. Thank you and have a great day.

I purchased 5 green spandex chair covers from Worldtechon on eBay on Sept 24, [redacted]. The delivery was due between Oct 11 and Nov 9. After contacting the seller on Nov 12, they assured me they had sent the item to the correct address. When the covers didn’t arrive, they promised a resend by Christmas [redacted] which never happened. Requested a refund on Dec 16, but faced multiple delays. Despite being told a PayPal refund was underway, I am yet to receive it as of March 27, [redacted]. The seller's explanations for the payment issues seem unclear and despite my request for a cheque refund, they insist on retrying PayPal. I am concerned about the lack of progress and suspect their intentions. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, June Clabby.

I have been a loyal Paypal customer for years. My husband, B. Baggott, has no association with my account. Around 3 months ago, I informed a Paypal agent of this, who requested to speak with him. Despite calling him to the phone and verifying his lack of Paypal usage due to his reliance on old-fashioned phones, the issue persisted. Due to a terminal illness and being on Morphine, I accidentally selected "business" instead of "individual" about 6 months ago. After numerous emails to customer service, today, I hope for a resolution. At 62, I solely use Paypal for online shopping. On March 20th, I bought a hair tonic bundle for [redacted].33 euros, but upon finding negative reviews, I immediately tried to cancel. Despite meeting the 14-day cancellation policy within 4 days and contacting the merchant, they charged me on March 25th and shipped the order disregarding my cancellation attempt. The company, despite my efforts, fails to address my refund request or the issue with my order number, causing frustration. Another problematic experience was with Fashion Mia, where I received no order confirmation or acknowledgment despite them debiting the amount on March 21st. They refuse to process my order without an order number and neglect my refund request. I seek resolution and emphasize these ongoing challenges. Apologies for the lengthy message. - G. Baggott

I have been waiting for the payment I am due. It is disappointing that there appears to be a lack of responsibility shifting between eBay and PayPal. I can understand that part, but what I find unacceptable is being misled by a company. The item was sold on 3/13/19, and despite being assured by two PayPal representatives that the payment would be processed by midnight, it has not happened. I feel frustrated and disregarded by the lack of concern shown. I have had previous successful transactions, yet due to these delays, I am left without any resolution. Every time I attempt to address this with a PayPal representative, I feel rushed and dismissed. The overall experience has been disheartening. I implore eBay and PayPal to honor their commitment and release the payment promptly, as assured. However, I realize that my personal circumstances may not impact their response.

I believe my account has been compromised. On March 29, [redacted], an order was placed on Wayfair for an IRobot vacuum cleaner under my daughter Melissa's name, totaling $[redacted]. The item is being shipped to her father's address in New Jersey. My daughter, who is attending college in NJ, and her father are both unaware of this order. My worry extends beyond the fact that they have access to relatives' addresses. They also possess my account number through PayPal and backup card information. The online purchase took place during the early hours of Friday the 29th. When I received an email notification from Wayfair thanking my daughter for the order, I grew suspicious. Given the significant amount spent and the billing of my checking and card accounts, I realized something was seriously amiss.

I have been a PayPal customer for over a decade, mainly linked to eBay. Originally from the United Kingdom, I now reside in Malta for the past four years. I need to cancel a payment but am unable to access my account as it requires my old UK mobile number, which I no longer have. The shipping address for eBay items during my time in Malta is Flat 6, Block B11, Triq Pietro Rossel, Pembroke PBK [redacted], Malta. I kindly seek guidance on accessing my account in this situation. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Emma Rossetti

I have been a PayPal customer for over a decade, primarily using it in connection with eBay. I initially opened my account when I resided in the United Kingdom. Since then, I have moved to Malta, where I have been living for more than four years. I recently attempted to access my account to cancel a payment of 39.99 made by i-translate. However, I am being prompted to enter my old UK mobile number [redacted]6, which I no longer have access to as I misplaced the SIM card. Is there an alternative method for me to access my account? The address where my eBay items are currently being shipped in Malta is as follows: Flat 6, Block B11, Triq Pietro Rossel, Pembroke PBK [redacted], Malta, Europe. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Warm regards, E. Rossetti

I purchased a game on eBay as a pre-order, but the seller informed me that the delivery would be delayed. The order number is 2wx[redacted]443w. The seller mentioned the game won't arrive until February 7th at the earliest due to shipping to Hawaii. They offered a refund or to keep the order open. I paid $65.00 through PayPal for the Kingdom Hearts III Deluxe Edition. The estimated delivery was between January 12th and 17th. The seller, h1toshura, contacted me via eBay about this issue. The email references the order concerns and reminds not to reply as this mailbox is not monitored. Please advise on what to do next. Thank you.

Dear Concerned Party, I am reaching out today to address a fraud incident involving PayPal. On March 27th, a person named Susan purchased my laptop on Gumtree and requested to pay through PayPal, which I agreed to since it is a trusted payment method. Despite not having my own account, we used my partner's PayPal account. We promptly shipped the laptop to the U.S. on March 28th, after $[redacted] was deducted from Susan's account, and provided both Susan and PayPal with the receipt and tracking information. After encountering delays, PayPal requested a refund of $[redacted] to release the $[redacted] owed to us, even though I do not possess a PayPal account. As of April 1st, the money has not been credited, leaving me in financial hardship as I used my last $[redacted] for shipping costs, affecting my ability to purchase essentials for my 11-week-old son. I have documentation to support this issue. Thank you, Rochelle

I received an email advertisement on March 18th from guccihunter.com offering low prices on Gucci products. I fell for the scam and purchased the Gucci Rajah Leather Large Tote Black & Gucci Soft GG Supreme Tote Black for $[redacted]. The seller sent me invoices via email, and when I received the items, the odd smell made me suspicious. I took the bags to a Gucci store and confirmed they were counterfeit. Despite expecting PayPal to cover me, I was told to return the items to the seller at my expense due to PayPal policy. The large bags would cost over $[redacted] to ship back internationally. The Guccihunter website has been taken down, and after research, it appears to be a site selling replica Gucci products. I regret not researching more beforehand and feel PayPal's response is unfair to a loyal customer like me. Transaction details: Transaction Date: [redacted], Amount: $[redacted], Transaction ID: 28U07001YX337173W, 9L785267X[redacted]W, Case or claim or dispute ID: PP-D-[redacted]0, PP-D-[redacted]9.
