Reasons for a Suspension

A suspension of your account does not necessarily mean that you have violated any of PayPal's terms of service; however, if the company has reason to suspect that you have, or that someone has accessed your account without your permission, it may suspend your account to protect everybody involved.

PayPal will suspend your account if it suspects you are using the account for:

1. Anything that violates any state, federal, or international law.

2. Buying or selling drugs or drug paraphernalia.

3. Buying or selling stolen goods.

4. The promotion of violence, discrimination, or hate.

5. The purchase of obscene items.

6. Copyright violations.

7. The purchase of firearms or ammunition.

8. Anything that shows the personal information of other people.

9. Anything that supports pyramid schemes or other get-rich-quick schemes.

10. Anything associated with off-shore banking.

11. Anything involved with refinancing credit card debt.

12. Anything associated with currency exchanges.

13. Bribery.

14. Fraud.
