I need help confirming the email address to forward a phishing email. I want to verify if it is spoof[@]paypal.com. I received a phishing email from an address that looks like PayPaI with a capital "i" that resembles a lowercase "l." The email was sent to the wrong email not associated with my Paypal account, asking for a response within 24 hours regarding a transaction.
Could you please provide an email address on your website specifically for forwarding phishing emails? This would allow me to report them without having to call and listen to information I am already familiar with. I have noticed a recent change in the final email containing shipping information. Previously, it included the "note to seller" field, which was very useful for me. This field used to display the text from the "add a note" section when sending an invoice, where I detailed what was purchased. This information was then carried over to the final contact email, which provided all the essential transaction details such as payer information, shipping date, and costs. This email was crucial for my record-keeping. Sadly, this information is now missing, requiring me to recall what was bought or search through past communications. This has become time-consuming and frustrating, as I relied on having everything in one place. I recently sold an item on eBay to a buyer who had their account hijacked. The buyer impersonated the account holder and requested the item to be sent to a different address for their "uncle's birthday." I fell for the scam and shipped the item to the address provided. When the real account holder informed me of the fraud and requested a refund, I couldn't comply as I had already sent the item as per the instructions in the eBay message thread.
I later learned that seller protection only applies when sending items to the address listed in the PayPal account. This was news to me, as I've sent items to different addresses in the past without any issues. Unfortunately, I lost the item and $[redacted] due to this scam, which has put me in a difficult financial situation as I'm a student trying to pay off debts.
The handling of this situation by the PayPal team was disappointing. Despite being told I would be covered as a seller, the outcome was unfavorable. I felt misled and unprotected throughout the process, wasting time and effort without resolution. As a person with a modest income, this loss has greatly impacted me.

When I attempt to log in, I enter my email, input the code you send, and then face two options: to answer the modified security questions or to receive a call on an American number (I reside in Greece). Despite multiple attempts to contact you, I have been unsuccessful. During our support team's efforts to help me access the account, I managed to log in but found it banned, preventing any modifications. I started the process of opening a PayPal account some time ago but couldn't finish due to illness. Recently, I wanted to activate an account but am unsure if I already have one because I don't recall any account information or password. I am experiencing issues accessing my account under the name Carl McCrohon with the email [redacted] I am unable to pass security over the phone as I no longer have the mobile number associated with the account or the bank details. There are funds available to withdraw, and I received an email on January 14th, [redacted] at 3:06 pm. There will be transactions to Ticket Clever for amounts of £12.20 and £6.50.
