On January 1, [redacted], my social security funds were directly deposited into my PayPal account. When I tried to withdraw rent money from the ATM, it only gave me $[redacted]. After talking to a coworker who said I could withdraw more the next day, I returned home to my assisted living facility where I pay $[redacted] in rent. Unfortunately, upon returning to my room, I discovered my wallet missing after encountering a person who had been removed from the care program. Despite battling cancer and feeling weak, I reported my card missing the next morning. The thief, named Larry, withdrew all my funds, leaving me owing $[redacted] when my social security payment was $1,[redacted]. Please help.

I recently bought a brand new Samsung Boost Mobile cell phone on eBay. The phone came in its original box with all the accessories and no scratches. However, upon trying to activate it with my Boost Mobile service, I discovered that it is locked to Sprint and I don't have the unlock code. The seller did not mention this issue. My order number is #[redacted]0 and my ID is #[redacted]38. I am a senior and finding it difficult to reach eBay over the phone for assistance. I used PayPal for the purchase. Despite being a Boost Mobile customer, the Boost store confirmed that the phone is locked to Sprint. I need a refund for this purchase.

I suspect my account was deactivated while I was in prison and not actively using it. I am concerned it might have been compromised since my other accounts were. I am unable to log in; the process halts after entering my username. I attempted using different devices and browsers, and even changed the password to no avail. I no longer have access to my debit card, unsure whether it was lost or stolen. Despite contacting customer support and explaining that I had already reset my password, I received unhelpful advice. Today I was unexpectedly charged $[redacted]+ for a service I never ordered. I don't even have a PayPal card linked to my account, so I'm confused how this occurred. The resolution center claimed this dispute is part of my account history, but I have never had issues with PayPal before. I contacted them promptly at 3:30 PM after the charge, but was informed I need to resolve it myself. If I'm ultimately responsible for this unauthorized charge, I'd rather close my PayPal account. I plan to call and escalate this matter to someone capable of addressing a charge that was made and processed so rapidly. I expected better security measures from PayPal to protect my account.

I recently spoke with a representative online. However, the page suddenly disappeared, leaving me unable to reconnect. After multiple attempts and days of waiting, I was unable to reach a live representative. Consequently, I purchased a NetSpend card and added $70 to it. Despite having the card and seeking assistance, I encountered issues trying to register it through PayPal. The representative mentioned that my card was not registered, which I found puzzling as I have the receipt from QFC where I bought it. To rectify this, I aim to proceed with registering the card. Despite confirming the card's acceptance and having the identity card code, there seems to be a misunderstanding. I made transactions on April 18th and 20th from my Ali Pay account to my Payeer account, and then through Paytiz to my Paypal account. The scammers claimed her PayPal account was compromised and instructed her to buy gift cards and open a bitcoin account to return the money. Do not call the number associated with this scam; instead, contact your credit card or debit card company to report any suspicious activity. The individual behind this scam went by the name SAM and used the phone number [redacted]. Be cautious and avoid falling victim to similar scams. I have reported this incident to PayPal, but reaching them has been challenging, with limited options beyond filing a dispute.

In this case, my friend unfortunately fell victim to a scam where she was told her PayPal account was compromised and was coerced into buying gift cards and setting up a bitcoin account to avoid a large charge to her checking account. I have been unsuccessful in linking my bank account to my PayPal credit account for the past 6 months. I contacted customer service back in January to address this issue, and after setting up a manual payment, I was instructed to try again in 2 weeks. Despite my efforts, I am still unable to successfully link my account for payments. The system shows my account as already linked but prompts me to manage it, leading to an error message when I try. Every time I call PayPal customer service seeking assistance, I am placed on hold indefinitely by the automated system, making it impossible to speak with a representative. This ongoing situation has left me feeling extremely frustrated as I continue to face obstacles without any resolution in sight.

Unfortunately, I had to open two accounts because I got locked out of my old email. My previous PayPal account was associated with the email [redacted] Now, trying to access it, I realized I no longer have the information. To add to the chaos, my phone was stolen, so I had to replace it, ultimately getting a new number, [redacted]. I set up a new PayPal account with my new email, [redacted], and the new phone number. However, I still need to access my old account to retrieve funds mistakenly sent there instead of to my new account.

On June 1, [redacted], I noticed two unauthorized transactions on my PayPal account, totaling $[redacted] and $[redacted]. Despite not having registered on their website or made any purchases, my account was charged. After filing a complaint with PayPal and receiving an initial denial, I took further steps to resolve the issue. I refunded the money through PayPal and provided my IP address to my bank. The money has been returned, and there are no longer any claims against me.

I noticed an unauthorized withdrawal of $[redacted] from my Bank of America account on June 5th.
This withdrawal is the third attempt by PayPal to take funds for a canceled subscription. The vendor refunded the initial attempt, but PayPal continued to try deducting the money. Unfortunately, on the third attempt on June 5th, the withdrawal went through.
This situation has left me unable to pay my rent until the money is refunded. I have already reached out to PayPal, but the issue remains unresolved. The vendor has also tried to help by contacting PayPal, who suggested I should contact you directly for assistance.

On June 6, [redacted], I paid R [redacted].25 ZAR ($39.25 USD) via PayPal for PhotoPad Image Editor. The payment was deducted from my credit card, but I did not receive the code to access the PhotoPad Image Editor. When I reached out to PhotoPad Image Editor, they responded that my email address ([redacted]) was not in their records. This is the only email I provided to PayPal and the one registered with my PayPal account. Despite trying for hours to track my payment and obtain a refund or access code, I have not been successful. At 85 years old, I am unsure of what steps to take next to resolve this issue and either receive a refund or access the software with a code sent to my email address.
