REFUND REQUEST I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent stay at Motel 6 located at [redacted] LaPorte Road in Waterloo, IA, specifically in Room [redacted]. The cleanliness and upkeep of the room were unacceptable. I paid for one night so my friend could stay with my German Shepherd puppy while my family visited my house. The condition of the room was so poor that my friend had to clean it herself, which is not her responsibility. I am requesting a refund and compensation for her efforts in cleaning the room, which should have been done by the housekeeping staff. 1. The bathroom was unsanitary with a dirty bathtub, clogged drain, water spots on faucets, and missing covers on the toilet seat bolts. 2. The sink area was dusty, with a dirty mirror, a poorly maintained countertop, and a filthy hairdryer. 3. The fridge needed defrosting and cleaning. 4. The TV area had a dusty screen, fingerprints, and a dirty remote control. 5. The desk was missing a phone book. 6. The walls were covered in food stains, fingerprints, and even unknown substances. My friend had to use her own cleaning supplies and even brought a handheld steamer to make the room habitable. Despite accepting pets, the room was not pet-friendly in its condition. This experience was unacceptable, especially considering my past experience working in the motel industry, and I expect a prompt resolution to this issue. - Joni Steen

I arrived at Motel 6 on Needham Street in Modesto at 10:37 p.m. Upon receiving my room key, I found the door partially locked with a man inside claiming it was his room. Jennifer, the front desk clerk, promptly assisted me in assigning a new room. The new room was unclean, with debris on the floor, an unpleasant smell, dried urine and feces stains in the bathroom, used soap in the shower, dusty surfaces, and hair all over the floor, causing my feet to stick. Additionally, there was a spill on the nightstand and floor.

I had a terrible experience at Motel 6 number [redacted]. Initially, after checking in, issues arose with the staff regarding noise complaints. The situation escalated when my friend's payment for the room was taken, causing conflict with the employee. This led to a series of unfortunate events, including being asked to leave early in the morning and encountering a bizarre claim about a naked woman. As I tried to arrange transportation home, the situation only worsened. Overall, it was a frustrating and upsetting stay.

I am Dr. E.O., and I made a booking at Motel 6 in Daytona Beach, Florida via ORBITZ for May 2-4, [redacted]. Despite having my printed receipts, upon arrival the front desk informed me they couldn't confirm the reservation due to system issues. After consulting the manager, I was told the motel couldn't assist me and I should find alternate accommodation. I was even told by the manager to leave if I got upset. This unprofessional conduct tarnishes Motel 6's reputation. It's worth noting the front desk staff were courteous and competent during this experience.

We are embarking on a new journey to a different state from Texas and have been staying at various Motel 6 locations along the way. Recently, we stopped in Pueblo, Colorado, and checked into Motel 6# [redacted]. Unfortunately, my wife had an accident and broke her arm a week ago. Upon arrival at the motel yesterday around 2:15 PM, we had to wait until 3 PM to be assigned a handicap room. As we were settling in and trying to rest, the noise from the room above us made it very challenging to sleep. Despite expressing my concerns to the front desk, I was informed that they needed to follow a protocol and couldn't move us to a different room immediately due to staffing issues. This led to a frustrating conversation where the front desk attendant seemed unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate our request. Feeling unsatisfied with the service, I decided to escalate the issue by contacting the customer service number but was met with further disappointment as the staff at the motel allegedly provided false information. The whole experience has left me feeling unvalued as a customer and I believe that Motel 6 should prioritize customer satisfaction more effectively. I am disappointed in the lack of care and respect shown by the employees and feel compelled to share my experience on social media to raise awareness about the inadequate customer service at Motel 6.

During my stay at the 65th St. location in Davenport, Iowa, on April 26th and 27th, I encountered multiple cleanliness issues. The hotel had a strong odor of body odor and cigarettes upon entry, and the desk clerk appeared unkempt. Despite an easy booking process, our room had a musty odor and was dirty with stained floors, a dirty mini-fridge, a clogged sink, and a greasy bathtub covered in soap scum. The room also had a poorly functioning speaker. To top it off, we discovered period blood on the mattress the next morning, leading to a room change where we found similar cleanliness issues. The front desk's response was unsatisfactory. Overall, this experience was appalling, and I intend to report this location to the BBB and health department due to the unacceptable conditions.

Recently, my group experienced disappointing customer service at Motel 6 in Centralia, WA during a national wrestling event. Despite being regular guests, we were treated disrespectfully by the staff. During a small barbecue outside by the pool, a staff member abruptly asked us to stop without explaining the reason. Seeking clarification on their policies, I called customer service and was left on hold for 48 minutes, only to be disconnected without an answer. After more attempts, I was informed that there is no specific policy regarding barbecuing on the premises. Frustrated with the lack of clarity, I requested to speak with someone from Corporate. Unfortunately, I was told I would have to wait until Monday. Our community feels let down by this experience and we hope for a resolution to this issue.

My family was asked to leave the Motel 6 on Pan Am Expressway in San Antonio, TX today. My spouse and I had a disagreement in our room, and the manager instructed him to depart. He returned, and the manager demanded all of us to vacate without a refund, despite our explanations. This occurred at 11:30 a.m. Currently, my family is stranded without a place to stay. The manager was yelling at me while I was in a towel, insisting that we leave. I requested time to get dressed, but she shut the door and called the authorities. Consequently, we had to leave. I am seeking a refund as we were unable to utilize the second night that was already paid for.

On May 4th, [redacted], during my stay at Motel 6 located at [redacted] East 1st Street, Santa Ana, California, [redacted], there was an incident that occurred. Despite a previous issue with the toilet in our room, the staff kindly provided us a discount for the inconvenience. After returning from shopping, we discovered that our room had been cleaned in our absence, and to our dismay, valuable items were missing including clothes, shoes, an iPhone, a gold chain, and $1,[redacted]. Despite contacting the office and waiting for hours, there was no swift resolution. The staff mentioned escalating the issue to corporate, which left us feeling unsettled and distrustful of the situation. We urge for prompt contact and resolution to this distressing matter. We are considering involving the police if necessary. We hope for a timely response. Sincerely, Clara E. and Roland H. Sr.

During my 5-day stay here, today being my last day, I discovered a drawer infested with what appears to be dead bed bugs in the dresser. Upon arrival, I noticed the floors were exceptionally dirty. Additionally, a housekeeper entered my room without announcing themselves properly. These issues have left me feeling disgusted with this hotel. I hope the management addresses these concerns promptly to prevent future guests from experiencing the same. I would also like to highlight that my phone was not functional. Thank you.

Upon opening the bottom drawer of the dresser at Motel 6 in Phoenix, I was appalled to find what appeared to be dead bedbugs. Additionally, a housekeeper entered without announcing herself, despite my presence for three days. The unclean floor on the first day was equally troubling. As I prepare to depart tomorrow, I discovered a bug infestation. I can share a photo for evidence and intend to escalate this to corporate. Urgent assistance is requested.

I rented a room after 11 p.m. on 5/5/18. Unfortunately, the room had yellow, smoke-filled towels instead of white ones. I overlooked that issue. The following morning, my oldest son woke up with bed bug bites. I immediately checked my youngest son's bed and found a bed bug under his pillow. We left the room right away. When returning the entry card, I showed the lady the bed bug I had captured in an ice bag from the room. She dismissed it as a flea, but after researching online, I am certain it was a bed bug. Despite contacting the manager for a refund, I never received a call back. When I called on Wednesday, I was told by staff that the room had been sanitized and there were no bugs. It is frustrating that my complaints have been disregarded, and the lack of response from the complaint numbers is disappointing. I still have pictures of the bug in the bag.

I am Katelyn V. and I recently stayed at Motel 6 on International Drive in Orlando, Florida for three nights with my husband. We are regular guests, but had a displeasing experience during our recent check out. Due to my fractured knee, I needed assistance with our luggage, but encountered difficulty due to a broken elevator and unavailability of a luggage cart. The staff’s response was rude and unhelpful. Despite my husband's back condition and my knee injury, we were left to struggle with our belongings. The treatment we received during this incident was unacceptable, leading us to feel disrespected and unappreciated as guests. I request a refund for the last night of our stay and hope for a resolution to this matter promptly. Thank you for addressing my concerns.

We had booked our room for a month due to my husband's job, but we left a week early for several reasons. Firstly, a maid walked into our room without knocking or announcing herself, which was quite startling. Secondly, we requested toilet paper and soap but were informed they had none, after waiting 40 minutes for the desk clerk to return. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortable, there were issues with rotten wood and bugs, and the presence of suspicious individuals made us feel unsafe. The noise from passing trains caused the walls to crack and the bed to shake excessively. After enduring three weeks of sleepless nights, we decided to leave. The front desk clerk was again unavailable when we were checking out, and the interaction was unpleasant as she refused to provide a printed receipt or issue a refund for the days we didn't stay. We are now reaching out to customer relations about our experience at this particular Motel 6, which was by far the worst we've encountered during our travels from Minnesota to Washington.

I am currently staying at Motel 6 in Lakeland, FL. I had an unfortunate experience with a female front desk agent who locked me in the pool area for two hours because I couldn't check into my reserved room until 5 am. A deputy was brought to ensure my safety. There are several issues I need to address, but there is no working phone in my room. I wanted to contact customer support but couldn't. I kindly request for someone to bring a working phone to room [redacted], which was supposed to be smoking but is non-smoking. I feel unsafe as the front desk agent seems displeased with me. The situation worsened when I experienced A-Fib while locked in the pool area. I've asked a friend to communicate with the front desk, but the response was dismissive. I urgently require a senior manager to reach out to me. This experience has been extremely distressing, and I am in need of alternative accommodations. Additional note: This situation has been incredibly unsettling. I strongly advise against anyone staying at this location.

I am currently in room [redacted] at the Lakeland Motel 6. A deputy brought me here for safety, and I had issues checking in until 5 am. The staff member locked me in the pool area which was messy with drugs, causing me distress as I experienced A-Fib. Despite calling the front desk with a friend at 4:46 am EST, the employee denied receiving any calls and reacted rudely. I seek a full cash refund, immediate arrangements at a different pet-friendly accommodation, and reimbursement for my dog's food. The behavior of the staff member towards me was unacceptable, and I feel unsafe. I don't have a working phone but will reach out to corporate. Please address these concerns promptly as I am considering legal action. Only Toni seems reliable among the staff here. Thank you. [redacted] was the contact number used to call the front desk.

I am seeking a refund for a night at Motel 6 in Bridgeview, Illinois. I paid $60 in cash before realizing my room had already been charged to a credit card. The front desk staff mentioned needing a manager's approval for the refund but never followed through. Despite being told I was refunded, I was later informed I owed $20 before checkout or risk being asked to leave. The staff incorrectly claimed I only booked one bed when I requested two. I observed employees and managers parking in handicapped spots, which is concerning. I would appreciate a prompt response to address these ongoing issues.

I had a disappointing experience at Motel 6 in Norman, Oklahoma. The clerk, Melissa, allowed someone else to enter the room I rented for my son. As a result, all of his belongings were stolen. Despite speaking with Melissa twice to confirm that no one was in the room, she assured me that it was empty. It turns out that two individuals were in the room the whole time, using drugs. I have the keys to the room, so my son did not authorize their entry.

My name is Amy E. Fowler from Thornton, CO. I stayed at your Jackson, WY location on May 8th, [redacted]. The room and service were excellent! We appreciated the grassy area for our dog. However, our stay in Riverton, WY on May 9th was disappointing. The wall heater was extremely loud, the small space heater provided was inadequate, and the bathroom fan did not work. Additionally, the lack of a dog area was inconvenient for us. We had to sleep fully clothed for warmth. The maintenance issues made our stay uncomfortable. We hope for improved conditions in the future. Thank you for your attention to these matters. Sincerely, AE Fowler.

My name is Amy E. Fowler, and I stayed at two Motel 6 locations recently. In Jackson, WY, stay on May 8th was delightful. The room was great, and the staff was helpful. Having a grassy area for our dog was very convenient. However, in Riverton, WY on May 9th, our experience was disappointing. The room had a noisy heater, a non-functioning bathroom fan, a broken light, and no designated dog area. We had to endure a cold night with multiple issues in the room. This stay did not meet our expectations compared to the previous one. We hope that on our next trip, we won't encounter such problems when staying at a Motel 6. Thank you for your attention to these concerns. Amy E. Fowler.
