I attempted to call the store to cancel an order my husband bought while shopping in the store without me knowing. I couldn't reach anyone on the pickup phone line. When they eventually called me back, I explained the situation, but the person was very rude and unpleasant. As a result of this experience, I have decided not to shop online at Kroger in Louisville, KY at the Terry and Greenwood location in the [redacted] zip code area. I used my debit card for the purchase and I am requesting a full refund.

Kroger's customer service has declined since the introduction of self-checkout. The rush to scan items before the next customer's groceries get mixed up is stressful, with only one representative managing all the checkouts. I asked for extra cash, but with a 50 cent fee, and in the chaos, I forgot to take it. Unfortunately, the next customer ended up with my $40. I am considering switching to Publix, where they still offer human cashiers and better service compared to this chaotic experience at Kroger.

My order is currently being prepared for pickup at our local Kroger. I have been informed that they are unable to find substitutes for some items like the 16 oz pork sausage and sugar cookies. It is frustrating that alternatives are not being considered. Now, I will have to go to the store in person to get the necessary items. Additionally, I request that they do not provide me with poor quality, moldy produce. It seems like they deliberately choose subpar products, assuming customers won't return them. This experience has led me to decide that this will be my final time using Kroger. I have found that Walmart offers more satisfactory replacements when needed.

I recently made a purchase, and I am disappointed with the substitutions made by the vendor. Instead of the 3 bottles of lemon smart water that I ordered, they provided 3 bottles of regular smart water, overcharging me $18.47 for a larger quantity. The delivery was also delayed, arriving at 7:28 PM instead of the promised quick delivery after being ordered at 4:30 PM. I am dissatisfied with these errors in my order. - J. Anders

I went to the pharmacy after they said they didn't have my prescription in stock, but when I returned today, they still didn't have it. Despite getting a new order, it didn't include my medication. They suggested that I go to a Kroger that's an hour away to obtain it, but this is inconvenient. I confirmed with another pharmacy that there is no shortage. Additionally, the pharmacist's behavior was disappointing as she discussed my situation without directly addressing me.

The pharmacy at Steubenville, Ohio only provided me with a 7-day supply of my medication due to their policy for patients who have not filled that medication in the last 90 days, which they referred to as "opioid naive." Despite having a history of medication fills at this store for years, they refused to give me the full prescription. My doctor and insurance company both tried to advocate for a larger supply to no avail. I believe I should have been informed about this policy beforehand. I am now facing the dilemma of either cancelling my holiday plans or risking withdrawal symptoms due to the limited medication supply. This policy seems unfair and punitive without considering individual circumstances. The lack of communication and flexibility in this situation has made me reconsider using this pharmacy in the future. I feel let down and unimportant by the way I was treated, and I plan to switch to Walmart for my future prescriptions. The experience at Kroger has left me disappointed and frustrated.

I have inquiries regarding the charges for a delivery order that I placed with Kroger. Around December 6 or 7, there was an issue processing my online order. Despite reattempting the order, I got charged $28.66 for items I didn't request or receive. Although I did receive my original order, I contacted customer service to rectify the error. I was assured I wouldn't be charged for my correct order (which I wasn't), and that a refund for the incorrect order plus a $5.00 credit would be issued. However, the refund only reflects $23.66, creating confusion as it appears I owe $5.00, which I believe is inaccurate. I seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you. - Betty D. I placed an order for 11 items yesterday to be delivered this morning, but only 6 items arrived without any notification that the others were out of stock. I am missing 5 items and I was also supposed to receive a $20 credit which was not the one given for the missing items. I am frustrated as I need these items for Christmas tomorrow and I am particularly disappointed about not receiving the eggs, winners, and other item. Every time I order lately, there seems to be a problem. I also didn't get the $29.00 credit after speaking with customer service before placing the order. I tried to call after the delivery was made, but was kept on hold for 30 minutes each time and they claimed they couldn't hear me. I am upset and considering giving my business to a more appreciative company. The service has been subpar and I have waited too long on the phone only to be hung up on. I am re-evaluating my options.

Hello. I'm a devoted shopper at Kroger. On December 19, I purchased groceries including a bag of Domino granulated sugar for $3.99 at store [redacted]. To my surprise, the clerk removed the sugar from the grocery bag and then placed it back inside. When I unpacked at home, I discovered the sugar bag had a hole, causing sugar to spill over my groceries. Unfortunately, the snowy weather has prevented me from going out to buy more. I kindly request a refund of the sugar purchase to my rewards card. Thank you. C.Z.

Good afternoon. I have been reviewing my recent purchases and noticed a pending transaction on my bank statement for December 27, [redacted]. Could you kindly provide more information about this transaction considering today is the 24th and it shows pending for next Tuesday? Additionally, on December 12, [redacted], a charge of $45.26 appeared on my statement that I would like to inquire about. Moreover, I received an order today, but there are 5 items missing, so I received a credit of $20.00. I have been trying to resolve some phone issues as well, experiencing difficulties with being heard on calls and overall phone functionality during conversations. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

I recently started at the Tampa office, but when I arrived for my orientation today, my name wasn't on the list. I was informed via email that my acceptance letter was rescinded due to background testing, even though individuals with criminal records were still hired. I had already turned down other job offers and even notified child support office of my start date. It's frustrating that my employment was revoked before all my credentials were in place, especially when I learned that someone I knew was placed in my position instead. Additionally, the new hire packet encouraged referrals, but when my family member applied, he was rejected for the same reasons. How can I be given a start date without proper background checks? I am requesting to speak with a HR supervisor.

On 12-23, my daughter bought a $[redacted] Apple gift card as a present from our local Ralphs. When I tried to use it on 12-25, Apple said it was purchased from Target and deactivated. I showed them the receipt with the correct store details. The store manager couldn't help, and I saw others with the same issue. He disposed of all Apple cards in stock. I need Kroger to contact me to resolve this and refund my daughter's money or provide a valid Apple card. Thank you for your prompt attention. JN

Today, my wife and I visited Smith's E. Bonanza to purchase 4 lobster tails advertised at $5 each. However, when I went to pay, the clerk charged me $25. I showed him the price tag on the case, but he said it was for a different location. After a bit of confusion and the clerk trying to rectify the situation with some confusion, I decided not to buy the lobster tails. When I discussed the issue with the store manager, he also seemed to not understand the problem. Feeling frustrated with the service and lack of understanding, I decided to buy the lobster tails elsewhere, experiencing a similar inconvenience. If this is how the store operates, I prefer to shop elsewhere, where I am not treated poorly.

I want to bring up a concerning issue regarding the Kroger store at [redacted] Macland Road in Powder Springs, GA [redacted]. The Pharmacy Drive-Thru Window has been out of order for over 3-4 months. As an elderly customer, it's challenging for me to stand or walk long distances. When I've gone inside, I've faced long lines and complaints from other customers about the closure and attitudes of the pharmacy staff. Having a Pharmacy Drive-Thru is a crucial service that many, including myself, rely on. Today, I called to check on my prescriptions and was informed they weren't ready due to delayed pickups. I mentioned the ongoing closure and suggested getting a repair service involved if necessary. The pharmacy staff seemed unaware of the issue, leading me to contact a supervisor, who also seemed uninformed. This lack of attention to a persistent problem is worrisome and reflects poorly on the store's service standards. I hope this message reaches the right person to address these issues promptly. Thank you for considering this important matter. Regards, Mrs. C.

I am facing frustration with the app and the scanning process in-store. Today, while trying to scan a clearance clothing item, the app couldn't recognize the barcode. An employee mentioned that the app only works with iPhone, not Android phones, for clothing and toys. Additionally, scanners seem to be missing from Fred Meyer stores. This lack of consistency in scanning options feels unfair to shoppers without iPhones or smartphones. Due to these issues, I struggle to make well-informed choices, especially as a clearance shopper. The app's unreliability on items I wish to purchase makes it seem pointless to have it on my phone. Lastly, the absence of human assistance to address these concerns adds to the frustration.

I work at a senior living facility in Irving and we are seeking flower donations to adorn the tables for our residents during meal times. In independent living, we often take residents to Kroger's for shopping as their apartments have small kitchens, and some utilize Kroger's Delivery service too. The idea is to place the flowers in bud vases for the week, with around 24 tables accommodating 1 to 2 people each. Previously, Kroger provided flowers that were slightly past their prime for the residents to select the best ones from. However, I recently learned that this practice has been discontinued in favor of receiving store credit. Would it be possible to revive the practice of donating flowers to us? We are more than willing to acknowledge Kroger's generosity to our residents and encourage them to express their gratitude directly to the store.

I would like to request the cancellation of my order as it is considerably delayed, and the Customer Service agent was unable to locate the order number in the system. If there has been a charge for this order, I kindly ask Kroger to process a credit back to my credit card. Reference: [redacted]2 Hello Nickalia, Could you explain what exactly an escalation entails? Were you able to resubmit the order? In light of the order number not being found in the system, how can we move forward with resolving this issue? If the order number cannot be located, it seems improbable that the order will be fulfilled, and I will not receive a confirmation email. The $15 store credit offered is not useful to me as I usually have my Smith groceries delivered by Instacart. Am I going to be charged for an order that was never dispatched? I am dissatisfied with the level of customer service provided. Kind regards, Susan

While at the Westlake Village CA Ralph’s store at 6 pm today, I noticed an error on my receipt during self-checkout. Being deaf, I needed assistance and was referred to the manager. Unfortunately, the manager became frustrated when I couldn't understand his explanation and raised his voice, causing a scene. The lack of resolution led me to leave the store feeling embarrassed and overcharged. Despite being a loyal customer for 30 years, I have never experienced such disrespectful behavior due to my disability. The issue stemmed from accidentally scanning an item twice, resulting in an overpayment of $4.99. I am seeking assistance in filing a formal complaint regarding this unpleasant incident.

I sought assistance at Kroger Store located at [redacted] Ascension Blvd in Arlington, Texas. The Kroger employee directed me to the service desk for help; however, no one was present at the desk when I arrived. Despite my attempts to seek help, no one responded to my requests. I raised my voice out of frustration towards the employee who initially offered to assist me but failed to do so. Subsequently, the assistant manager, Carlos, accused me of inappropriate behavior towards the employee, which was untrue. He then instructed me not to return to the store based on false allegations. I mentioned the presence of surveillance cameras in the store to validate my account of the incident. As a regular shopper at this location, I attempted to contact the manager to address the ongoing poor customer service issues, but my calls went unanswered. I am highlighting the disrespectful treatment I received from Carlos, the assistant manager, and the lack of staff availability at the service desk during my visit.
