I need to cancel a membership and request a refund. I did not complete the application process and was charged $1 initially and $21.99 today from my bank account. This is a scam and I want it canceled right away. Please refund the money back into my account immediately without any delays or issues. Thank you.

On May 5, [redacted], I froze my Experian account and have the PIN but lost the user ID and password. AMEX used the PIN successfully. The email associated with the account should be the same as TransUnion and Equifax, set up on the same day, but it doesn't work. When trying to recover the password using birthday and social security #, there's a mismatch, which is concerning. I've tried calling seven Experian [redacted] numbers, including one in AK, but keep getting automated responses. I'm considering contacting my congresswoman for help as I'm desperate to resolve this issue.

I am in need of speaking with a live representative as none of the phone menu options cover my situation. I recently received a notice from my local hospital informing me of a data breach where all my information was stolen. As a result, I was offered a complimentary 2-year subscription to Experian Identity Works. Upon visiting the provided web address and entering my information and activation code, it said I was eligible for a daily credit report but the activation tab showed as "Not Available."
I attempted to contact the support number [[redacted]] on the site and encountered a recording asking intrusive questions before redirecting me to an unrelated company. I tried an alternate method via GETHUMAN.COM to reach a live person directly but was met with unhelpful automation. Despite calling during business hours, I was unable to connect with a representative. It is frustrating to deal with these challenges when seeking assistance for a service I require.

Since September [redacted], Experian has been charging me $21.44 monthly for a "credit report" that I did not subscribe to or buy. I have spoken with a customer service representative who confirmed that I only have their free basic membership and no payment method saved for charging me. I have verified that I do not have another account under a different email address.

I'm having trouble accessing my account. When I sign in with my email and password, it redirects me to a page to request a free credit report. Subsequently, it takes me to an Account Verification page displaying my correct details, and asks for my SSN. However, upon submitting, I receive an error message and get looped back to the initial login screen. Unfortunately, your automated system isn't resolving this. I've attempted various customer service numbers, but haven't been able to connect with a live person at your company to address this issue. Can someone assist me in gaining access to my account?

A real estate company requested Experian to conduct a credit check for renting a property. Experian outsourced this to Vantage Score, then further sub-contracted to Better Leasing. Despite Experian showing a FICO SCORE 8 of [redacted], Better Leasing provided a credit score of 0 using a different tool. Attempts to contact Better Leasing revealed that more credit cards were suggested to boost the score. Resolution is sought by having Experian liaise with Better Leasing for clarification on the low score. The Screening Report ID is #[redacted]. The outcome of this credit evaluation is vital for a pending house sale.

I would like to address an error that occurred with a charge on my Capital One card in March of [redacted]. I did not notice the balance until June [redacted] and promptly made a payment to clear the account. I understand my responsibility in the late payment. The actual product due was $31.80, nearly 50% of my total paid in late fees. The late payment, including fees, has affected my credit report with Experian. I kindly request a letter be sent to Experian to rectify this small error. The principal amount and accompanying fees have been paid, and the oversight was corrected as soon as it was identified. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

Hello, I appreciate this platform. Equifax and TransUnion have successfully removed the late payment status from my credit report for my Thd/cbna credit card account, but it remains on my Experian report. Removing this will significantly boost my credit score as it is the only negative item. Managing 45 properties through LLCs, I avoid late payments by utilizing auto-draft for most accounts. Due to a break-in where I lost my purse, wallet, and cards, including the bank account used for auto-draft, I closed the account and sent a check to pay the balance. Unaware that the payment couldn't be processed, I didn't receive the returned check. Once aware, I promptly communicated with Thd/cbna (Home Depot), settled the balance, and they assured me of removing the late payment from all credit bureaus, except Experian. Despite my efforts to rectify the situation, the late 30- & 60-day payments still reflect on my Experian report. Kindly remove these entries associated with account #[redacted][redacted] from Jan [redacted] and Feb [redacted]. Feel free to reach me at [redacted]. Thank you, Shirley V.

I was provided with an 8-digit PIN number to unfreeze my Experian account, but it is not working. I tried visiting experian.com/freeze to enter my information and the PIN, but it keeps saying the PIN is wrong. I am frustrated after spending hours dealing with automated systems and filling out forms with no success. I am seeking help from a human representative via phone or email as I do not have my social security card to mail as suggested on the website. Dealing with Experian has been much more challenging compared to TransUnion and Equifax. I urgently need to unfreeze my credit. Thank you - A teacher struggling to unfreeze the account during precious planning time daily for the past two weeks.

Hello,
I am reaching out for assistance as I am unable to reach a live person at Experian Credit Company. I am an elderly woman residing in Oregon and a retired special education teacher. My fixed monthly income is $3,[redacted]. Back in [redacted], I underwent a liver transplant and Pfizer provides my anti-rejection medication due to financial constraints. Despite annually reapplying for their assistance, I was declined this year, citing my income as $84,[redacted] per year based on Experian's records. However, my actual monthly income is $3,[redacted] which covers my mortgage and bills. I am facing a critical situation as I rely on this medication to survive, yet I cannot afford it. I am unsure how Experian determined the $84,[redacted] figure. This issue is life-threatening, and I urgently seek help to resolve it and obtain my much-needed medication. Any assistance would be profoundly appreciated. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Laurie Stuckrath

My credit score was in good standing until Verizon mistakenly sent me to collections multiple times in [redacted] and [redacted]. I closed my account in December [redacted] before my incarceration in January [redacted], and I had no use for the phone during that time. Despite never missing payments, I settled the unjust bills to avoid complications following my release from prison in June [redacted]. This situation has adversely affected my credit score for 7 years. I urge for prompt removal of these erroneous marks as I fulfilled my obligations by canceling my service before incarceration. I am not at fault for non-payment as my circumstances were beyond my control. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you, Darla S.

On January 22, [redacted], I applied for credit with Capital One, and they requested I call to verify my identity. However, I couldn't be verified over the phone because my number didn't match the one on file due to a fraud alert. I then submitted my first dispute to Experian on the 25th (Report #1[redacted]3-56) to update my phone number, but it didn't result in the change I needed. Therefore, on the 26th, I submitted a second dispute (Report #3[redacted]-08) for the same issue. Experian responded on the 27th with instructions on various options to address the dispute, including adding a statement to my credit report, contacting the company reporting the information, providing additional documentation, filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and requesting an updated report be sent to relevant parties. Thank you for assisting in ensuring the accuracy of my credit information.

I recently encountered a late payment that occurred due to a mix-up. After moving, I lost my coupon book and mistakenly attempted to pay my account through Aqua Finance, leading to the payment being returned. It wasn't until yesterday that I realized my error in sending payments to the wrong place. I promptly informed Connexus and corrected the payments. As a senior in my mid-70s, I inadvertently believed my RV was financed through Aqua Finance instead of Connexus, which was the correct lender. I can provide bank records indicating my attempts to pay twice. To rectify this mistake, I'm addressing the payment for this month as well. I urgently need assistance from Connexus to remove the negative report from my credit file. Maintaining my credit score has been a priority, and I hope this matter can be resolved promptly.

On 2-5-22, I received an email from Experian stating that a fraud alert was placed on my credit report at the request of a company. I did not request this alert and have been trying to have them removed from my Trans Union report. The presence of these alerts has hindered my ability to obtain new credit in recent years. I am requesting Experian to remove all security alerts and freezes from my credit file immediately. Below is an excerpt from the email I received:
EFFREY WILLIAM BROADNAX,
We have added an Initial Security Alert to your credit file on behalf of one or more nationwide consumer credit reporting companies. This alert lasts for one year and serves to prompt credit grantors to verify your identity if there are suspicions of unauthorized use of your information. Additionally, we have taken the precaution of removing your name and address from prescreened offer mailing lists for six months.

I received an alert from my Discover card stating that my social security number was on the dark web, and they helped me report it to Experian. However, during a subsequent check, I found that my Experian profile listed an address on Lazy K Drive in Baton Rouge, LA [redacted], where I have never lived. My ex-husband bought the property after our divorce, lost it in a bankruptcy that did not involve me, and I am unsure when this incorrect address was added to my report. I want it removed from my credit report. I have tried to contact Experian via email, phone, and chat without success - no live person was available, and I was even routed to a lawyer unexpectedly. I am only looking to correct this error and not willing to pay for its removal. Please assist me in resolving this matter promptly.

I need assistance with freezing my Experian account. My husband, Antonio Ceo, has access to my account and has stolen my Social Security number and birth certificate. I noticed a charge of $21.95 on 2/9/22 in my bank statement, and I am unsure of its origin. I do not recall having any financial dealings with Experian for credit information, nor did I authorize any membership. I request a refund of $21.95 to be reversed into my bank account promptly. My bank advised me to reach out to verify your willingness to address this before further action is taken. Please reply to confirm resolution as my bank is inquiring about the status. Thank you. Best, J. C. The solution to this matter is the return of the funds to my bank account.
