I am currently staying at Hotel Boissière Paris, and unfortunately, the room I booked as a twin came through as a Double. I am unable to sleep in the small bed with my daughter due to my spinal injury. The hotel was unable to accommodate us, so we had to find alternate accommodations. I spoke to the receptionist, Theorne, who mentioned he would approve a refund for us. Could you please assist with organizing the refund for our stay? I appreciate your help. Thank you. We purchased tickets with British Airways through Expedia. Our trip was canceled due to the pandemic. Although we made the payment to Expedia, they informed us they couldn't refund us and that British Airways issued a travel voucher expiring this month, April 30, [redacted], which doesn't work for us, being seniors. I am unvaccinated and unable to wear a mask. Citibank didn't provide assistance and suggested contacting Expedia again. Upon speaking with British Airways today, they mentioned that Expedia needed to contact Trade Support to issue a refund since we paid through them. Unfortunately, I can't speak to a representative at Expedia, and when I input our itinerary number, the automated system can't locate it. I need help securing a refund or ideally an extension for the travel voucher valid until October [redacted].

Bob, who is a stroke survivor, made this car rental reservation unknowingly due to his medical challenges. He mistakenly added me as an additional driver and is now facing extra charges of $72 because of it. Unfortunately, he cannot drive due to his condition. On December 26, [redacted], we made a reservation and paid for four nights at Intel Hotels in Amsterdam from May 26-29. Recently, our plans changed, and we needed to cancel the first night on May 26. Following instructions from Expedia on April 9, we successfully canceled the first night. We were told a refund would be issued without a specific date provided. However, upon rebooking for three nights, we noticed the new reservation is more expensive than the original four-night booking price. While we understand that room rates may have increased between December and April, we expected a refund for canceling only one night at the original rate. We hope this discrepancy can be resolved. I booked a trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico through Expedia for May 5-11 for 2 people at Caribbean Paradise Boutique Hotel, totaling $[redacted] with insurance. Unfortunately, after booking, it said it was canceled. I checked my account and saw no charge for the trip, but I was billed $[redacted].52 for a “Spirit Air Visa.” I need this unknown charge canceled and a full refund for it.

Subject: Expedia Itinerary [redacted][redacted] Dispute with Sixt Car Rental in Denmark I recently reached out to Expedia regarding a dispute with a car rental from Sixt in Denmark listed under Expedia itinerary [redacted][redacted]. After contacting Expedia, I was directed to AIG for insurance matters (1-[redacted]), but they informed me the policy isn't under their purview. The concerns I have with Sixt are as follows: 1. Duplicate charges for Loss Damage Waiver and for an additional driver, which should have been included in the original Expedia payment. 2. An unexpected charge for UF Foreign use that wasn't explained clearly at the car pick-up in Denmark. 3. An extra charge for Y Premium Location Fee that was not disclosed at pick-up, despite my request to collect the car from the city office. I need assistance with using an airline credit I obtained after canceling my Expedia reservation. I originally booked a flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco with United Airlines through Expedia, which I unfortunately had to cancel. Expedia informed me that I had received a credit equivalent to the flight value and that I had one year to utilize it. The credit amount totals $[redacted].46, and now that I am prepared to make new travel arrangements, I am encountering difficulties redeeming the credit. The standard flight price amounts to about $[redacted], so I was under the impression I would only need to cover the price difference of $[redacted] minus the credit of $[redacted].46. However, Expedia seems to be charging the full $[redacted] and stating that this price already accounts for the credit. This implies that the flight actually costs $[redacted].46 if I utilize the credit, whereas it is only $[redacted] if I forego using the credit. Essentially, it appears that instead of providing me with savings through the credit, Expedia is making it more expensive for me to utilize it.

I had a car rental booked for pickup at 6:00 PM on 4/1/23 through CarRentals.com, with itinerary #[redacted][redacted] for a car with EasiRent at the Charlotte NC airport. I managed to cancel the insurance part and received a $[redacted] refund on the same day. Unfortunately, I was unable to contact CarRentals.com or EasiRent to cancel online within the 6-hour window because my flight was canceled by Delta Airlines at Salt Lake City Airport. Despite multiple attempts to reach EasiRent at [redacted], I received no response. Due to the flight rescheduling to 4/3/23, I tried contacting EasiRent upon arrival in Charlotte using their pickup instructions with confirmation ID [redacted]5-1, but again had no luck. Ended up renting a car from Enterprise on the spot. I have disputed the charge of $[redacted].80 with my credit card company, Citi, but have not received a response yet. I don't have an issue, just a process question. I want to make sure I do this correctly to avoid confusion during booking. "I want to buy a plane ticket for someone in another country. Besides my credit card and the person's passport, what extra requirements do you need? The booking is for a round trip from Bangkok to Seattle and back, without any additional stops or segments. Can you please specify any additional requirements unique to your booking process?"

Dear Expedia team: A few days ago, I made a reservation at the Drayton Hotel in Savannah, Georgia through you and was deceived in the process. Somehow, the hotel changed the amount of the reservation, and by the time I noticed, it was seemingly too late to cancel, resulting in me being penalized with the initial amount they had offered. Of course, the fault was mine for not reviewing the process step by step. However, this happened because I believed I was in a secure environment, which is what I understood from Expedia. If you obtained my card details to charge me the penalty, it's because I trusted Expedia's clause allowing me to postpone payment until the hotel arrival. While Expedia didn't deceive me directly, they facilitated the deception and provided the means for it. I may not be able to recover my money lost due to my own fault, but you have lost credibility. In a highly competitive redundant service environment, losing credibility is costly. I don't think this letter will make a difference, as it's unlikely to be read by an Expedia owner but by someone dedicated to their job, just like I am. However, it may help you understand how and why you lose business when customers are mistreated. I won't waste time leaving negative reviews, as they often create an illusion of self-regulation. I made a reservation through the Expedia app, paid with my debit card, and then arrived at the hotel only to be surprised by a $[redacted] cash deposit requirement that was not mentioned on the app. The hotel assured me they would reimburse the deposit. I contacted an Expedia live representative who said I should expect a resolution within 72 hours. However, it has been over a week now, and I have not received any updates. Despite being told my money would be refunded, Cash App notified me that my dispute was rejected.

I have a non-refundable booking for two adults at the Lake Louise Inn via Booking.com for May 4th-5th, [redacted]. I recently discovered I'll be arriving a day later. Booking.com said changes aren't possible without property approval. Lake Louise Inn recommended contacting Expedia, as the reservation was made through them. They mentioned if Expedia approves the cancellation, no property cancellation fee would apply. Expedia's toll-free number provided is inconvenient for my overseas location, and their automated system doesn't recognize my Booking.com reservation. I'd like an email contact for Expedia to handle the cancellation instead of calling. Ideally, Expedia can approve the cancellation, allowing me to rebook for the correct dates.

I recently contacted a representative regarding our reservation at the Wyngate Hotel near Spokane Airport. Unfortunately, my wife's mother passed away on Easter afternoon, which has led to us having to cancel our upcoming trip for funeral arrangements. Even though our booking was non-refundable, the representative mentioned reaching out to the hotel manager to discuss a refund or potential alternatives. They indicated that they would update me within 72 hours, but I have yet to receive any communication. I rely on Expedia for all our travel needs and am seeking assistance with this matter. I am hoping for a refund or a "rain check" for a future date as our reservation is scheduled for tomorrow, so urgent help would be greatly appreciated.

We are planning a road trip from New Mexico to Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 28th. We will be in Vegas from May 28th to 30th and then head to Anaheim, where we plan to stay from May 30th to June 2nd. We need to rent a car from Farmington, NM and drive it to both destinations. In Las Vegas, we will need two rooms and the same in Anaheim. I'm trying to book everything together, but the website won't allow me to add Disneyland tickets unless we book a flight, which we don't want to do. When calling customer service, they require an itinerary number I don't have yet. It's frustrating that I can't book everything in one go.

I made a rental car booking for my husband, but he never received a confirmation. Later, I booked another car for a trip to Kentucky. To my surprise, there were two bookings on the same day, time, airport, and driver, with only one confirmation. Expedia denied responsibility for the double booking and the car rental companies refused refunds. I believe Expedia should take responsibility for such errors, as they are the booking site. Luckily, a customer service representative canceled the first reservation and refunded that amount, but I wanted to cancel the more expensive one. This unexpected expense during a difficult time is disappointing.

I recently stayed at the Governor's Inn hotel. I initially planned to stay for two nights but had to check out after only one night due to safety concerns. I left the hotel at 11:06 am. I was expecting a refund of $[redacted] for the night I didn't stay, but I wasn't informed at the hotel that I needed to contact Expedia customer service to process the refund.
