Hello, I registered my store a few days ago and it got suspended by Etsy without any explanation or instructions. As a seller, I would like to know the reason for the suspension. I've reached out to Etsy via email, but I haven't received a helpful response yet. This is quite different from my experience on other platforms like Amazon, where they promptly provide reasons for any actions taken. All the products on my store are handmade with pictures to support their authenticity. The store information provided is also accurate, so I'm confused about why it was suspended. I'm hoping for a detailed explanation from Etsy and guidance on how to restore my store's normal operations.

I purchased an Anorak through Etsy from seller Toby Holland "The Wandering Parson" with the expectation of receiving a high-quality canvas material for $[redacted]. However, upon delivery, the item was of poor quality, resembling cheese cloth in brown. I reached out to Etsy, who directed me to contact Toby Holland for resolution. Despite providing my transaction ID and receipt, Toby Holland was unhelpful and provided misleading information, even mentioning multiple Etsy websites that seemed dubious. When asked to return the item, Toby was uncooperative in providing a return address, eventually giving one in China. The shipping costs back to China were nearly as much as the item itself. This experience has been frustrating, and I plan to escalate the matter to the Better Business Bureau for further assistance.

Hello Get Human, I am experiencing difficulties contacting Etsy. I will attempt to explain the situation thoroughly in this email. My partner and I operated an Etsy store together for approximately 2 years. Although it was primarily hers, I assisted during busy periods. We recently ended our relationship but are still living together due to our rental agreement having four months remaining. Given the skills I acquired, I decided to launch my own store. I created the logo, added about 50 listings, and everything was going smoothly. My ex-girlfriend expressed interest in purchasing items from my new store for her family, which I agreed to. She requested a discount, which I applied. However, her order remained in the processing stage for several days before I realized my store had been suspended. Despite my attempts to contact Etsy for resolution, I only received automated responses. It seems they suspect wrongdoing due to our shared IP address and her subsequent store closure. This has caused immense distress as her livelihood is affected. I have made numerous efforts to communicate with Etsy to no avail. I hope you can assist in resolving this matter. I bought a musical soundbar on Etsy on January 23rd, with a message "I Love You, Kelli". The total cost, including shipping, was $[redacted].07. I was expecting it to arrive in time for my wife's birthday on February 26th, but it hasn't shown up yet. I was contacted by someone regarding an item in my shop, but it quickly became evident that they were attempting to scam me out of $[redacted]. A friend of mine recently had a similar experience while selling items online, where the customer requested the purchase of gift cards using fake Etransfers, resulting in a $1,[redacted] scam. The individual used a familiar tactic, claiming to be located in the US (while I am in Canada) and asking me to add a $[redacted] gift card to a product in my shop to send to their 'daughter'. Hello, I recently launched a shop and conducted a test sale. Unfortunately, I haven't received the money from my test sale in my bank account. Etsy requires me to verify my bank account by confirming a deposit they sent, but I haven't received it. Despite contacting Etsy through chat and email for several months, they continue to advise me to check for the deposit that I never got. I reside in Vietnam. My shop had its first sale, then two days later, without any email notification on 08/03, it was closed. I filed an appeal, case number #[redacted]7, and was informed to wait for 14 days. However, after 13 days, I received an email stating my account was permanently suspended without providing a reason. I promptly responded to appeal that decision but did not receive any further communication. When attempting to file a new appeal, my previous case disappeared, and I have not received any response. After reaching out via Twitter and receiving no reply, I filed another appeal which led to another permanent suspension notification under case number #[redacted]9. Despite responding promptly, I have not seen any progress. I am concerned they may close this case without addressing it. I would appreciate any guidance on how to directly communicate with them to resolve this and reinstate my store, where I sell handmade items. Thank you for any assistance.

I received Shequita Revels' order, but I have not received Yvonne Revels' order with the order number [redacted]3. I recently started a new Etsy shop which was unfortunately permanently suspended after only two weeks. I received an email stating that my shop was suspended but with no specific explanation provided. Despite multiple inquiries, all I receive are vague responses listing possible violations without pinpointing the exact issue. Without knowing what the problem is, I am unable to address it accordingly. Each time I submit an appeal, I receive the same generic email with a different name attached, still lacking clarity on the situation. I am at a loss as my products are all authentic and handmade, my bank account is verified, and I have not infringed on anyone's work. I placed an order for a T-Shirt on March 22, [redacted], and monitored its tracking progress. Unfortunately, USPS notified me that the package was intercepted. The package ended up in Santa Barbara, CA, and was signed for in Carson, CA, though I am located a hundred miles away. Despite reaching out to the store via email three times, they are unwilling to issue a refund due to the incident occurring in the delivery process. The tracking number for my order is RE[redacted]96GR. This situation is causing me stress as the $35.83 I spent on the T-Shirt may not be recoverable. Hello, I mistakenly entered the wrong account number for my Etsy shop and now I am unable to verify it. I purchased gold grills with free delivery, but there was no specified time frame. I had to redo the molds, purchased a new kit, got it done, and gave the package to my grandmother to ship. Unfortunately, she forgot about it for a few months due to a family death. Now, Etsy claims the free delivery offer is expired, and they want me to pay $20 for shipping to receive my order. I already paid for the molds and shipping twice, so I don't think I should have to pay extra for the delayed delivery.
