Subject: Emirates Customer Service Issue Emirates Ref.: DXB/X/LC/[redacted]/[redacted] On March 9, [redacted], I received a response from Mr. Liam at Emirates regarding my recent complaint. However, my main concern about not being allowed to bring my laptop with a bag on board has not been addressed. I have been traveling internationally for the last 15 years, and every airline has permitted a laptop with a bag in addition to one carry-on cabin bag. Even on my recent flight from LA to Delhi on August 26, [redacted], Emirates (Ticket number: [redacted][redacted]) allowed me to bring my laptop with a bag on board along with my cabin bag. Due to the unexpected refusal by your staff in Delhi, I had to place my laptop bag inside one of my checked suitcases, causing it to be overweight. I kindly request a reevaluation of the situation and appropriate guidance for your staff, as well as a refund for the excess charges incurred. This is not solely about the financial aspect but also about maintaining the airline's reputation and consistency in its service standards. I anticipate a positive and fair resolution soon. Dear Emirates, I am writing to express dissatisfaction with the treatment of a Gold Star passenger on flight P8AG52 from Harare to Sydney. Despite paying AUD [redacted] for the ticket, the refund issued upon cancellation in February [redacted] was only AUD [redacted]. This is unacceptable given the flight was cancelled by Emirates, leaving the passenger stranded in Harare. Julie, an Emirates Gold Member, deserves better treatment from the airline, especially during these challenging times of the pandemic. It is vital for Emirates to uphold fairness and provide a full refund to ensure customer satisfaction. Yesterday afternoon, I broke my foot. My flight from Phuket to Nice is scheduled for March 28th, and I would like to upgrade to business class by paying, of course. If the flight is already full, perhaps changing the date is an option since I cannot travel in economy class. I will also need assistance as I am unable to walk. Can you please upgrade me to business class on my March 28th flight, or if not possible, change my departure date to travel in business class? Thank you in advance for your response. Subject: Assistance with Emirates Transit Visa Query Hello, I recently reached out to Emirates airline regarding applying for a transit visa after purchasing my tickets. My confirmation number is NYSH3F. My husband and I are US Permanent Residents traveling to Accra, Ghana, stopping in Dubai for 4 days. My husband successfully applied for his tourist visa online, but I encountered issues. Despite following instructions, I couldn't apply via VFS Global as suggested. I received a response instructing me to apply for the visa either with a sponsor at Emirates counter or through emirates.com's "manage a booking" feature. The system requires a confirmed return ticket under one booking reference to apply. It's crucial to ensure a minimum stopover of 8 hours for a 96hrs/48hrs visa. I have no issue, I would like to speak to someone to understand how Skywards Air Miles would work for me. My sister and I were scheduled to fly from Heathrow to Delhi on 8.3.23 on Flight EK030. However, due to a wing issue, we were asked to disembark and take a later flight, resulting in us being over 5 hours delayed in Delhi. Upon returning to the UK, I submitted a compensation claim for both of us, which was approved by Cristina at Emirates Customer Affairs on 11.4.23. I sent in the required forms with our bank details on 16.4.23 but have not heard back. I followed up on 5.5.23 but still no response. Can someone please advise on the next steps to take? The Black Lane driver did not show up as scheduled. When attempting to contact him, his number was continuously busy for 20 minutes. Contacted Emirates directly, but had difficulty communicating with the representative who I spoke with initially. Currently, en route to Terminal 4 at JFK in a taxi due to the missed pick-up. Hoping for a smoother experience moving forward with Emirates.

Upon contacting the Emirates customer service, I was informed that my name is listed as D. Sahadew on this number, whereas my full name is Djayant Kumar SahadewLall. The points were not credited to EK[redacted]40 because the ticket was issued under Djayant Kumar Sahadewlall, which is a different individual. I canceled a flight to Nairobi and was informed that the refund should have been received by now. However, I have yet to receive it. I arrived home from Dubai last night on flight EK0009 to Gatwick airport. My name is George M., and I had initially booked seats 69E and 69D with easy access to the restroom due to a health concern. However, upon checking in at Dubai airport, we were assigned different seats. Additionally, my seat was stuck upright throughout the flight. When I raised this with the steward, I was informed it was not their responsibility as it was a matter for ground staff. As a reputed airline, such inconveniences should not occur. The journey home was uncomfortable due to these issues.
