I was unable to fully discuss my losses from a delayed flight from RNO to SLC Sunday evening. Despite a 1 hour and 20-minute hold followed by 45 minutes with a customer service representative trying to resolve my issues, I had to settle for the $75 travel credit offered as I was already 2 hours into the call and needed to head to the airport.
The delay was not weather-related, and the representative initially failed to offer a hotel voucher despite me missing the last flight to GEG. After involving a supervisor, I was finally given a hotel voucher and a $75 credit. As an attorney from Spokane (GEG), missing 3 billable hours at $[redacted]/hr due to the delay impacted my work.
I felt compelled to accept the offer due to the extended wait time, which I believe was unreasonable given my loyalty to Delta as a Platinum cardholder. I am requesting an additional $[redacted] in travel credit for the inconvenience and lost billable hours caused by Delta's delay.

I have been trying to request credit for some SkyMiles since December. This is the third time I have written a message. I have been on hold for a total of 5 hours to speak with a representative. My SkyMiles number is [redacted], and my name is Cynthia J. I traveled to Rome on October 28 and discovered upon arrival that my passport was cancelled. Despite getting a new passport in [redacted], I managed to leave the country on the cancelled one. I was promptly sent back the same day via New York. Upon rebooking for the next day, I was informed of a $[redacted] fee, which was deducted directly from my SkyMiles account ([redacted],[redacted] miles). I am seeking credit for these miles as flying on a cancelled passport was an error, leading to significant stress from the additional travel. For further assistance, please reach out to me at [redacted]. Thank you, Cynthia J.

I have a friend in Germany who is having trouble reactivating his SkyMiles account and asked for help. He mentioned that his account was inactive and he couldn't access it for bonus miles and flights. The German hotline was not helpful, and the links on his last mileage statement were not working. He is seeking information on how to reinstate his old account with lifetime mileage and is looking for a European hotline with competent staff, a live link, or an email address for assistance. He provided his account number, email address linked to the account, and personal details for verification. If you can help, please assist in finding the right contact points for him.

I need assistance in correcting my Skymiles account. The system error mistakenly added my husband's middle name to my profile. Even though I have submitted a verification form and uploaded my passport to remove my middle name, it still appears on bookings. Recently, while using my e-credit for a ticket with reference HC4FBK, the middle name was included. I was instructed to cancel the booking. I usually do not include my middle name while booking tickets.
Please urgently correct my Skymiles profile so I can book tickets without my middle name at the same fare. Alternatively, if it's easier, book the tickets for two passengers using reservation HC4FBK and utilize the e-credits for both. The ticket should only display my full name, Srilakshmi Gopalakrishnan, without the middle name. The first passenger's name, Narayanan Vaidyanathan Gopalakrishnan, on the Skymiles account is accurate. Thank you.

For the past 5 months, I have been unable to access my SkyMiles frequent-flyer account due to suspicious connections. Despite repeatedly attempting the identity verification process, my account remains inaccessible. I have contacted SkyMiles customer service in the USA, Italy, and China, where I currently reside for work. The access issues, labeled as suspicious, are likely due to China's firewall restrictions, which require a VPN for accessing Skymiles. Prior to the pandemic, I held Platinum status, consistently Gold in the last 2 years, including [redacted].
The inability to use my miles, track my trips, and verify my status have been inconvenient. Despite accumulating over 50,[redacted] miles from 50 flights in [redacted], my Elite Plus status isn't reflected on my current "normal" card for [redacted]. It is crucial that my Gold status from [redacted] is maintained this year. I rely on my account for frequent travels, and I urge for a prompt resolution from SkyMiles for this issue.
Thank you,
Pietro R.

My husband will be joining us on a flight from MSO to PHL on May 28th at 6:00 am. Due to booking our tickets separately, we have different flight account numbers. Even though our flights remain the same, we are no longer seated together. I've tried changing seats on the Delta website without success, prompting me to call Delta. My daughter and I are in seats 41G&F on DL405 and 30F&E on DL1318. My husband is currently in Seat 41J on DL405 and could move to 41D. On DL1318, he is in seat 25F, and we would need to be moved as well to row 33 with 3 available seats. Despite my attempts to manage seats on the website, I was unable to make the changes. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in ensuring we can all sit together on our return flights to PHL. Thank you for your help in advance.

On April 8, [redacted], at 12:30 pm, my Delta flight for that same day at 12:33 pm from DTW to LGA was unexpectedly canceled, causing a major disruption to my plans to attend my son's wedding. Despite efforts to reschedule, I encountered challenges due to full flights and my inability to travel certain times for personal reasons. Following a two-hour chat with customer service, an agreement was made to adjust my reservation. Unfortunately, the final charge of 26,[redacted] miles for two tickets was higher than expected, leading to dissatisfaction. Moreover, receiving a flight delay notification at 1:06 am on April 11, just hours before my flight, resulted in further inconvenience, financial loss, and sleep disruption. Requesting a courtesy credit of 25,[redacted] points for these issues. Thank you.

Dear Forum Users,
I'm currently experiencing an issue with my Delta SkyMiles account. A few years ago, my miles were hacked, and although Delta restored them, the hacker changed my email address to [redacted] I've tried to update it to my correct email, [redacted], but encountered an error message stating this feature is unavailable and that I should contact Delta directly. I reside at [redacted] Holly Point, Warner Robins, GA, and my credit card ending in [redacted] expires in 2/22.
I'm looking to rebuild my SkyMiles balance and want to ensure the security of my account moving forward. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, please feel free to share. Thanks in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
Sonja

My husband and I each have a Delta Sky Miles account with our own individual numbers, IDs, and passwords. However, most of the miles we've earned using our Delta Sky Miles AmEx Cards (one account, two cards) appear only under my husband's account. When I log in, my account shows only around 3,[redacted] miles, but in reality, we have a total of nearly [redacted],[redacted] miles together, all listed under his Sky Miles account number. I am aware of his number, login ID, and password, but my computer won't allow me to access his account or utilize the miles in my account to book anything. Whenever I try to call Delta, the hold times exceed one hour, causing me to hang up multiple times. We need to consolidate our miles and ensure both of us can use them to book travel rewards. This ongoing issue is incredibly frustrating and has prevented us from using our miles efficiently, especially since I handle all our travel bookings. There has to be a solution to this problem!

I'm having trouble accessing my Skymiles account. Despite attempting to resolve this by messaging earlier today, I was unsuccessful. After receiving an email to reset my password, the new credentials were not accepted upon login. Subsequent attempts to reset the password failed as my email address was not recognized, even though I regularly receive emails from Delta. I waited for customer support on Saturday for over an hour, then again today for another hour, only to be unable to log in. Currently, I'm on hold on the phone with an estimated wait time of 70 minutes. I urgently need to book flights for an upcoming trip. Thank you. - Karen Patterson

I recently made a booking using miles for a flight from Seattle to Winnipeg. Unfortunately, my return flight was canceled at the last minute, and I was rebooked on a WestJet flight by Delta, causing inconvenience due to having to urgently return home. I unsuccessfully tried to cancel through Delta due to long wait times, needing to promptly find an alternative. Amidst this, I was also dealing with a family member's critical illness. I had to make arrangements to fly from Winnipeg to Vancouver and have my husband drive from Seattle to pick me up. The short-notice replacement flight ended up costing me $[redacted].00. It is my request that the unused miles for my return trip be credited back to my SkyMiles account. I appreciate your consideration.

I am seeking assistance regarding my baggage incident on June 15. My flight from DFW to JFK was canceled, and I was rebooked on a DFW-ATL-LHR flight. Unfortunately, one of my two checked bags did not make it onto the ATL-LHR leg. I filed a baggage claim with Virgin Atlantic and my bag eventually arrived in London on June 17. However, despite being informed that my bag was at the airport and ready for delivery, the airline employee refused to allow me to retrieve it even with two forms of identification. Instead, he assured me it would be delivered to the Intercontinental O2 hotel in Greenwich on the evening of June 17. Regrettably, I have not received my luggage yet. Can someone please assist me with this matter?

My account has been hacked and disabled, and I am unable to reactivate it online. After seeking help without success at the airport during a recent trip from LAX to London via Seattle, where no attendants or sky lounge staff could assist me, I urgently need to reactivate my account (#[redacted]) to access my miles for booking a flight today. Due to potential identity theft, I can't upload documents online and require assistance over the phone.
Additionally, I want to report a disturbing incident involving a passenger on my flight from Seattle to London on June 11, [redacted]. The passenger in seat 53G repeatedly disturbed me by reaching across my face to adjust the window shade despite my objections, affecting my sleep and ability to use the TV due to a glitch with the cabin lights and a flickering bulb. The situation escalated when he became verbally aggressive, ignoring crew intervention, ultimately forcing me to change seats. His behavior was intimidating, abusive, and threatening, and I request that he be addressed to prevent similar incidents in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Chaela Volpe

I recently experienced a Delta flight cancellation, causing me to lose $[redacted] as I missed my connecting flight with Aer Lingus from Boston. I am currently seeking assistance in reducing my credit card charges before the upcoming payment deadline in July.
My Delta trip number was GG9LZL. The cancelled Delta flight was DL [redacted] from Jacksonville, FL at 7 AM to Boston at 9:47 AM on June 17. My Aer Lingus flight from Boston, scheduled for 5:45 PM on June 21, was missed due to the Delta cancellation, leaving my wife and I with insufficient time for our family vacation in Ireland.
While Delta has refunded my skymiles, I am now requesting a refund for the [redacted] skymiles I had to purchase to cover the additional miles required for the missed flight. I bought [redacted] miles for $75.25 on 2/20/22, and another [redacted] miles for $75.25 on 4/25/22 due to Delta's schedule change.
I kindly ask for a refund of $[redacted].50 to be credited to my credit card ending in [redacted] and a reduction of [redacted] skymiles to assist with my upcoming credit card payment obligations. The flight disruptions caused by Delta's documented issues resulted in significant financial loss for my family.

I am concerned about the inconsistencies in the information provided by Delta agents both over the phone and at the airport. When traveling with my 93-year-old mother, I always request a bulkhead seat due to her knee condition. Unfortunately, on two recent flights, despite multiple conversations and gate confirmations, my mother did not receive a bulkhead seat. Had I known the true seating arrangement earlier, I would have chosen a different flight or purchased a different seat. This issue made her flights quite uncomfortable. As a loyal million miler customer, I have never experienced such inaccuracies before and am worried about this trend. I eagerly await your response. Sincerely, Enrique Montiel, Skymiles #[redacted].

Hello,
I attempted to claim miles from a recent Delta trip to my KLM Flying Blue loyalty account, but it seems the miles were already credited to Delta. This is puzzling as I do not recall being a Delta loyalty member. I am requesting the transfer of these miles to my KLM Flying Blue program. The booking code is GT6R8I.
Thank you,

My Sky Miles number is [redacted].
During my recent visit to the Atlanta airport, I discovered that my Sky Club membership had expired. I renewed it by signing up for the $75 per month payment plan.
However, after acquiring the Delta American Express Reserve Card last week, which includes complimentary Sky Club membership, I no longer need my monthly subscription. When I called Sky Miles last week to cancel, I was informed that I had committed to a one-year term and could not cancel the monthly plan.
I was not made aware of this non-cancelable commitment when I renewed my membership. I was under the impression that I could cancel at any time. Now that my circumstances have changed, I would like assistance in canceling the month-to-month plan.

I recently traveled from JFK to CDG on 19/09/22 and from LHR to JFK on 18/10/22 with Delta using Skymiles #[redacted], my booking reference is GM75Z3. I encountered two issues with my flights. Firstly, the miles were credited to my inactive Air France account for the JFK to CDG flight, which I did not request. Secondly, no miles were credited for the LHR to JFK flight. I would like the miles from the JFK to CDG flight transferred to my Delta Skymiles account and the earned miles from the LHR to JFK flight to be posted as well. Despite booking through Delta, there was no option presented to choose where the miles should be credited. I prefer Delta as my airline, and usually, the process of crediting miles on codeshare flights with Delta has been seamless. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Best, J.

I am experiencing repeated issues accessing my Skymiles account (#[redacted], Charles S. xxxxx) due to password problems. Despite resetting my password through the "Forgot Password" option, I keep encountering the same incorrect password message on subsequent login attempts. Additionally, after resetting the password and noting it down for future reference, I still face the same issue when trying to sign in again. The repeated failed login attempts lead to a locked page with a revolving circle, blocking my access to my Skymiles account. This has prevented me from using over $[redacted] in credits before they expire. As a loyal Delta customer looking to plan a multi-city trip to visit my 18 grandchildren before Christmas, this situation is incredibly frustrating. At 77 years old, I am at a loss for solutions. Could a complimentary upgrade to Comfort Class be considered for my upcoming Christmas trip from PDX or SNA to DSM, then ATL (and continuing by car to AUG, CSG, and returning to ATL before flying back to PDX)? Maybe it's wishful thinking, but AAA of America has proven helpful in such situations by offering itinerary assistance. I am eager to resolve this issue and make my travel plans stress-free.

I am a SkyMiles member ([redacted]). Fourteen months ago, I sold my house at 9 Forte Dr. in Old Westbury and moved to my new address at [redacted] Dawson Ln., Jericho, NY [redacted]. My contact information remains the same with no changes to my phone or email. Today, on November 8th, [redacted], I made travel reservations from December 10th to 18th to Punta Cana. Unfortunately, I forgot to apply the code (SM250) during the booking process and was unable to reduce the final payment despite my attempts. I reached out to customer service and spoke with Abraham, but he could not resolve the issue. The online reservation should have been eligible for a $[redacted].00 refund based on the promotion. As a loyal Delta customer, I recently traveled from JFK to Fresno. Thank you for your assistance in advance.
