Hello, I am Larry Dunn, a long-time craigslist advertiser from Louisville, KY, running a small kennel focusing on Golden Doodles for 16 years. I assure you that I am genuine and committed to the quality of my puppies. Since November [redacted], my posts are consistently removed within 10 minutes of posting, despite following guidelines. Unfortunately, my inquiries have not yielded any responses. In contrast, I observe scams persisting while legitimate ads are removed promptly. Providing a screenshot of a 17-day-old ad still up emphasizes this issue. I seek clarity on the removal of my posts to rectify any mistakes. Ensuring my puppies find local homes is essential, especially for families in need of service dogs. Please assist in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

For the past two days, I've been bombarded with incessant random text messages about a [redacted] Camry ad, leading people to inquire if a "free car" listing is still available. The flood of messages is overwhelming, and I'm fed up. After researching, I realized the potential risks of privacy breaches with my phone number and name exposed. My name has been publicly revealed, and this situation is affecting me personally. This is no longer a joke; I'm innocent of any wrongdoing. I want a resolution, to delve deeper into this issue, and identify who is behind it and their motives. It has gone too far. I need immediate assistance. Contact me via email or preferably by phone to address this matter promptly. I don't want this to escalate further, potentially endangering my family. I am determined to put an end to this distressing situation. The posts, which seem to stem from the "Free stuff" section, have caused unwarranted disruptions and stress. I reside in Rochester, NY, away from NYC, and several posts have been flagged. These incidents occurred last night and the day before, creating a sense of urgency to resolve this promptly.

Hello, I wanted to share my frustration about my recent attempt to post a for sale by owner ad for my travel trailer on Spokane WA C's List on 2/25/[redacted]. Unfortunately, it was flagged and didn't get posted. This is confusing for me as I have successfully sold items on C's List before without any issues. I am puzzled as to why my ad did not comply with the posting guidelines, and I am reaching out to seek clarification on what went wrong. Here are the details of my ad:
For sale by owner
[redacted] Kit Travel Trailer 30BHT
Location: Davenport, WA [redacted]
Description:
- Includes 24 pictures
- Contact via text using my Google Voice number
I am struggling to understand what rule I might have unknowingly broken. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I came across a pontoon boat for sale on Craigslist for $30,[redacted]. After reaching out to inquire about inspecting the boat located in Kentucky, I received a response that raised some concerns. The seller explained that due to their job at American Airlines, they couldn't handle the deal in person. They arranged for a company called Elite Logistics to manage the transaction, mentioning the boat stored in Fargo, ND would be delivered to my address for a 5-day inspection period. Elite Logistics would handle the payment transfer if I decided to keep the boat and provide a full refund if I chose not to. The seller suggested having them send paperwork for review. They requested my full name, address, and phone number to proceed. Wanting to verify the legitimacy of this arrangement, I thought it best to check with the forum before proceeding. Thank you.

Someone posted an ad on Craigslist suggesting that an old couple is giving away free items because they are moving out of state. As a result, multiple individuals have been coming to my residence since this morning asking for Larry. However, there is no Larry residing here, and I have never posted any ads on Craigslist or utilized their services. I am concerned about who falsely used my home address and mentioned Larry in the ad. I would like to know more about the source of this misinformation.

I am experiencing account blockages on several business accounts, like the situation below:
"This IP has been automatically blocked.
If you have questions, please email: [redacted]

To post new ads, I have to repeatedly verify on Yahoo's site due to an issue I haven't encountered before unless posting from a different IP address. Even then, it should remember the alternate IP.
These blockages are causing significant delays in my postings, and I cannot access Craigslist to view or post ads. The accounts affected are:

I urgently need this resolved as I rely on these for daily business and am willing to pay $3 for each ad.

My spouse and I, senior citizens, fell victim to a scam by a contractor named Carlos Paz, whose contact number is [redacted] and advertises on Craigslist New Jersey. He claimed 17 years of experience in tile installation for kitchens and bathrooms. We engaged him to lay tiles in our master bathroom, where his slow work pace prevented us from monitoring progress. Upon completion, we discovered unevenly laid floor and shower tiles, with gaps devoid of grout and the shower basin's slope wrongly directing water. The quality was subpar, reflecting his limited expertise. Moreover, his disrespectful behavior, resorting to yelling and pushing, marred the experience. We possess photographic evidence to substantiate our claims and believe he is deceiving homeowners in need of remodeling services.

I recently listed an entertainment center on Craigslist in Boise, Idaho and have been getting inquiries. One person, Samuel P., asked for my personal email. I shared it, and here's the response I received from him:
"Mar 23, [redacted], 3:41 PM (20 hours ago)
Thanks for your swift reply. Your email ended up in my spam folder. I'm happy with the price and condition listed. Please remove the ad and consider it sold to me. I'll add an extra $80 to the original price when you take down the listing. My husband will send an Official Check from a local bank for the payment. Once it clears, he'll arrange for pickup.
Due to my busy schedule as an event coordinator, I can't come in person with cash. I'll need your details to send the payment:
Recipient Name
Mailing Address (no PO Box)
City, State, Zip Code
Final Price
Cell Phone #
I'll send the check promptly for delivery within 24-48 hours. Thanks."
I'm unsure if this is a scam. This response feels different from others I've received, and I'm cautious about proceeding.

I would like to address an error I made. I reside in Milwaukee and came across a Craigslist ad from Chicago for a puppy. I reached out to the seller who requested my email to share photos and details. After providing my email, I did not receive any response. Upon sending a follow-up email through Craigslist, I still did not hear back. Upon revisiting the ad, I noticed three small links, one being to report spam. I suspect I mistakenly clicked on that link, resulting in the ad being removed for potential spam. I am sincerely sorry for this mistake. The Craigslist ID for the seller is [redacted]. To confirm my identity, I can be reached at [redacted]. Kindly reinstate the ad swiftly as I am keen on getting the puppy.

I have been a victim of identity theft. The perpetrator reset my passwords, made charges on my bank accounts, and even canceled my two-step verification. I am concerned that someone, possibly using the names Julie Doughty or an alias Perez Ortega, has opened accounts in my name. I have noticed suspicious activity such as unauthorized access to my email and an unknown presence on Craigslist on my computer. For security reasons, I cannot disclose my email but you can reach me after 4 p.m. at [redacted]. My other number, [redacted], has been disabled for security issues as well. I am seeking assistance as my privacy has been compromised numerous times. Thank you for any help you can provide. (Note: One police report has already been filed regarding this matter).

I need assistance with someone repeatedly posting my cell number on Craigslist ads for a white Dodge Dakota truck and now an Acura vehicle as well. I have tried to redirect callers to Craigslist, but the issue persists. I suspect this person could be a scammer, as I have encountered similar incidents recently.
Please prevent this individual from using my number by implementing a verification process for ad placements. This could involve Customer Service confirming the contact information before allowing the ad to go live. Hopefully, this measure would deter these misuse cases and protect innocent individuals like myself.
Thank you,
Eva C. Whyte

EVGA Corporation currently has three job ads posted in the Orange County, CA area. These include positions for a Customer Service Rep (posted on 4/5/[redacted]), an RMA Receiver (posted on 4/13/[redacted]), and an RMA Packing Associate (also posted on 4/13/[redacted]). We have received only one applicant for the Customer Service Rep position, which is concerning. There have been no candidates for the two RMA positions. How can we enhance the visibility of our job postings? Are applicants not using Craigslist as frequently as before? Should we consider switching to other job posting platforms? I have contacted two rental listings and received identical emails from the senders, Lise Torres and Elsie Turner. The emails stated that the rentals are available and include all utilities and parking, with no security deposit. However, before proceeding, they requested checking my criminal history and credit background through a provided link. Upon inspection, the link directed me to a credit report service with no apparent connection to any property.

I need urgent help! The post ID: [redacted] needs to be removed immediately! My family recently bought this house and moved in, only to discover that it has been listed for rent on Craigslist by someone who copied the details from the original Howard Hanna real estate listing. This scammer is offering our house for rent at $[redacted] per month, which is false as we are not renting it out. Despite contacting the local police and Craigslist, the ad is still up and causing us great distress. We fear that this person may be collecting deposits from unsuspecting individuals. Please, I urge you to take down the post as soon as possible to prevent further fraud.
