I encountered an issue when depositing a check in my married name to my account registered under my maiden name. After making adjustments to the check, which was not allowed by the bank, my account was suspended and I was informed I could not have another Capital One account. Initially, I was informed the funds would be sent by mail, but later received an email mentioning a transfer to another linked external account or a check would be sent in 7-10 days. Despite the check causing the problem being added to my account, my account is still restricted, funds are frozen, and attempts to contact Capital One have been unsuccessful. It has been 15 days with no communication, leaving me unsure of when the funds will be accessible. The lack of responses and unresolved situation have left me feeling frustrated and without a way to address the issue effectively.

I misplaced my bank card and received a replacement. I am struggling to activate it. Despite contacting customer service thrice and submitting my ID twice, I am facing difficulties with verification. Though my ID was accepted twice, the representative mentioned issues. I want to verify my card for selecting a passcode. I had an issue with the automated customer service system. It first verified my phone number but then failed to do so when I tried to use it, prompting multiple lockout attempts. Customer service then deactivated my card for my security and promised a new one. However, this led to my account being locked, making the card unusable. I am now being asked to provide photo ID again, even though I don't have it due to recent state processes. This situation has been ongoing for five months since I got a new driver's license. They started a new account with a $[redacted] limit but are now delaying sending the card due to a fraud alert caused by the previous card cancellation. I tried to log in but forgot my password, and the two-step verification process is not recognizing my text number. The original account from [redacted] with a $2,[redacted] limit has not been used in months. The Quicksilver card was deactivated, and a new account started on November 11, [redacted], with a $[redacted] limit. They are now unsure when they will send the new card due to verification issues. I am frustrated with the continuous problems and may cancel my dealings with Capital One altogether. I understand the need for identity protection, but this situation has become too troublesome.

On February 4th, I contacted Capital One to report my lost Mastercard, and they assured me they would block it. Following their request, I sent a photocopy of my passport via recorded delivery, reference number DF[redacted]03GB on February 6th, [redacted]. After three days, when I inquired, they claimed not to have received it. Since then, I have been attempting to resolve this issue, but every time I call, I am informed they can't access my data for some unspecified reason. I have £[redacted] on my Mastercard, but I cannot access the funds or get a new card from Capital One as they seem unable to locate my information. Thank you, Ms. A. McIntyre.

My bank account was closed due to a check deposit issue. The pending check processed even after I requested it to be canceled. The funds are not available, but only listed in current funds. Capital One promised to transfer the funds to my external account or mail a check within 7-10 days. It's been over a month now, and I can't reach anyone for an update. I've called and emailed with no response. I urgently need my money.
