I reside in St. Marys, Ontario, with postal code N4X 1B3 and we do not have mail delivery services, which has been inconvenient lately. I frequently collect mail for my extended family and seniors. I have two inquiries:
1. Today, I was informed that I couldn't buy stamps for a senior because the Post Office is no longer selling anything or mailing parcels or priority post. Is this a nationwide policy or specific to our local post office? I was disappointed as I usually use priority post to send important documents related to my mother's passing.
2. Who should I reach out to in order to discuss how our postal service can better serve our community during these challenging times? I understand the difficulties faced by postal workers and would like to see improvements in how mail and parcels are handled in St. Marys. Thank you for your attention. Stay safe and take care.

Hello,
Today I got a call from Canada Post, but the person speaking had a strong Chinese accent that made it hard for me to understand. I politely requested to be transferred to another representative, but the call abruptly ended with an apology. Initially, I suspected it might be a scam call. I attempted to reach Canada Post using the number provided, but I have been unsuccessful in connecting with them.

On April 16, I received an email from Canada Post stating my parcel was delivered, but I couldn't find it at my front door. Despite checking with neighbors and the local post office, the package was nowhere to be found. After reaching out to the sender, a replacement order arrived promptly at my doorstep in four days, even though there was no knock or doorbell. Surprisingly, on April 22, a considerate lady from [redacted] Willoughby Drive returned the misdelivered parcel that ended up at her house, two blocks away and with a different address number. While this mix-up was an inconvenience, I generally appreciate the reliable door-to-door service provided. Just wanted to share this experience to keep you informed. Thank you. I placed an order for an electronic instrument on April 15th. Canada Post collected it on the 16th, with an expected delivery date of April 21st. Today is April 24th, and the item has not arrived yet. The package is traveling from Mississauga to Niagara Falls, Ontario, a short one-hour drive away. I am puzzled why it's taking 10 days for delivery. My tracking number is [redacted] 7[redacted] 2[redacted]. The tracking information has been showing "in transit" since April 16th without any updates. I would appreciate it if the package can be delivered promptly.

After confirming the location hours online, I visited the Mission BC post office at the Shoppers Drug Mart location only to find it closed, despite the website indicating it was open. While the website now shows it as open, the sign on the desk yesterday stated it wouldn't open until 12pm. I realize these are challenging times, and I appreciate everyone's hard work, but it would be helpful if they could update the website to reflect any changes in hours due to Covid-19 or provide a phone number for accurate information to prevent unnecessary trips. I also noticed a mention that all mail should be ready to mail before reaching the post office. I'm curious if special packaging is still necessary for expedited postage services. Looking forward to your response. - Louise H.

Our mail delivery has been inconsistent lately. Several parcels were sent back even though our address was correct. Recently, I received my neighbor's mail by mistake, which was quickly exchanged. We have also received small parcels that were meant for our new neighbors and were returned to the senders, causing us to worry about missing items. Our regular mail carrier is usually very reliable, so we are puzzled by these errors. While we appreciate her service, these issues with parcels are becoming costly and inconvenient. I had to travel to Hagersville and St. Catharines to retrieve some items, but Oshawa is too far for me to pick up packages. Any suggestions on resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Jan

I attempted to forward my mother's mail to her new address through my epost account. My mother has dementia and has moved into a retirement residence. Due to the lockdown restrictions, I am unable to get her permission or power of attorney to make these changes. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete the mail forwarding process successfully as I was not verified by the website and was charged $62.72 on my credit card. I kindly request a refund as the service was not fulfilled. This issue needs urgent attention.

I attempted to have my mother's mail forwarded to her new address due to her dementia and lockdown situation at a retirement residence. I used my epost account to make the changes but was unable to confirm the forwarding request and now seek a refund of the pending $**.** charge on my credit card as the service was not completed successfully. I do not have power of attorney and cannot have my mother sign permission because of the lockdown. The website denied confirmation after payment. I urgently need this resolved.

Good morning, I am writing on behalf of First Truck Centre Edmonton West located at [redacted]-[redacted] St NW, T5M 3P5, Edmonton, AB. Our mail delivery person's behavior has been concerning. I politely requested the mail bundle to be placed in the designated basket for Covid 19 safety; however, he responded rudely in front of our customers. His offensive language and unprofessional conduct are unacceptable in a business setting. We appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you.

Hello, I am lodging my fourth complaint about the community mailbox issue. My mail keeps getting wet due to poor sealing, causing important documents to be damaged. Previous attempts to fix it resulted in my mail being destroyed and sticking together. This problem has persisted since Christmas. Today, when I retrieved my mail, my legal papers were wet, making it difficult to send them back with signatures. It is crucial to find a solution to prevent water damage or consider replacing the old mailbox.

I am inquiring about a letter that was sent to my bank and returned to me as the sender. The address used was the same as always and I have received other mail successfully at that location. The account is in good standing and not closed. This issue occurred in March [redacted] but I only learned of it when I spoke with the bank on May 5. The Store Manager, Dennis, reacted strongly by threatening to close the account without allowing me to discuss the matter. I was told they might reconsider if I showed respect to the staff. When I tried contacting the post office, Dennis gave them incorrect information, and the Post Office Manager, Sally, claimed to have spoken with me, which did not happen. I have had previous problems with missing mail and incorrect deliveries. I have spent countless hours trying to resolve this through the [redacted] number, but to no avail. I am concerned that they might interfere with my mail forwarding. It seems they prioritize protecting each other over assisting customers. Proper documentation and communication about mail issues are essential, and it seems lacking. I am not alone in experiencing these problems at this location.

I reside in the small town of Fort MacLeod, Alberta. The post office staff took my post office box away after my wallet was stolen, leaving me with only my jail-issued ID. Despite this, I believe I should not be treated poorly due to my past. When I tried to get a new box using that ID, I faced disdain from the employees. My best friend attempted to add me to their approved residents list, but was told I was rude and lacked proper ID. This treatment led me to react out of frustration, causing further tension. To avoid dealing with these employees, my best friend now collects my mail. This situation has left me feeling ostracized within my own community, impacting important tasks like opening a bank account. I have updated my address with all necessary parties, but the issue with the post office persists. What should I do next to receive my mail in the town I call home?
Sincerely,
M. Colacci

I am experiencing delays with mail between Canada and the US. Recently, I received a letter from Albuquerque, postmarked in March, in May. Another letter from New York City arrived in Calgary after several weeks. These delays are unacceptable, especially when trying to connect with family and friends during these challenging times. It is disappointing that international mail can take up to two months, while local mail can also be delayed by weeks. I hope Canada Post improves its services to provide more reliable and timely delivery for everyone.

I am a cyclist in Toronto and encountered a troubling situation involving a Canada Post delivery van on May 8th around 12:30 pm near Queen and Dufferin. As I crossed Queen Street West at Gwynne, a Canada Post van (#[redacted]) approached at a high speed, honking aggressively as I moved out of the way. This behavior from a government driver was unexpected. At the next stoplight on Gladstone, the driver, a woman using her cell phone while driving, continued to confront me, making threatening comments. Despite not escalating the situation, the driver persisted in a confrontational manner. It is disheartening to experience such behavior on the road. If necessary, I am willing to provide further details as it is crucial to address instances like this.

I received an email from Mainspring Medical stating that my item was delivered on May 8, [redacted], at 7:55 a.m. However, I have not received the item. After reaching out to them, I was advised to contact Canada Post as they confirmed the delivery. According to the tracking information, the item was left at the front door of a multiple-apartment building, where I reside. Despite checking with the building reception, they also have no record of receiving the package. I urgently need the item. Please ensure the delivery of my package. Thank you.

I received an email on May 7, stating that my item was delivered, but when I checked my mailbox, it was empty. The missing products were one eye serum and one face mask, totaling $[redacted].29. I contacted Canada Post, received service ticket number [redacted], and was informed the next day that they couldn't locate the items. Following their advice, I reached out to the sender, Kiehl's, who mentioned that confirming the non-delivery is crucial for their investigation. I attempted to call Canada Post this morning regarding the status of the investigation but was unsuccessful. I would appreciate it if someone could confirm if the investigation is complete and provide me with the results for my records. Please respond to me via email. Thank you.

Today, at 1:10 pm, I visited the Prescott Ontario postal office. Being new to Prescott, I was unsure about retrieving my packages and approached the counter for assistance. The lady at the counter grabbed the key from my hand and asked me rudely if I could read. When I inquired about her name, she refused to provide it. She is a slim middle-aged lady with blonde/grey white hair styled in a ponytail. Another girl present also overheard the encounter. This behavior was unacceptable, and I hope it is addressed promptly. It's unfortunate to leave a business establishment feeling humiliated due to the discourteous behavior of an employee. I trust that appropriate action will be taken in this matter.

I visited the Rexall Post Office at [redacted] Frederick St. in Kitchener on April 1, [redacted], to mail a 10 x 7-inch bubble envelope to Stoney Creek. The clerk suggested using a larger 9 x 12-inch envelope for a cheaper mailing option at $3.60. I purchased the larger envelope, transferred the mailing label from the original package, and sent it out. Unfortunately, the recipient has not received the package yet. If both the mailing and return labels came off, what should be done with such packages? This delivery is crucial for the recipient in Stoney Creek. Please provide guidance promptly.
Thank you,
Beverly
