Bluebird by American Express Customer Service Issues

I have followed all the instructions to link my debit card with my Bluebird account, but I keep receiving a message saying "trial deposit pending." I am unsure of what to do next. I used to like the option of depositing cash at Walmart, but now there is a fee involved. When I try to make a deposit, it says I have 4 pending deposits of a dollar each for days. I have contacted Bluebird, but it seems like their customer service is not helpful as they keep putting me on hold for hours with unpleasant music playing. I am considering just paying the fee to deposit cash or getting rid of the card altogether because this situation is becoming impossible for me. Being 70 years old, I don't need this kind of aggravation.
