Today, my wireless phone arrived by mail (8/7/23), but the package was opened and wet, so I am refusing delivery. I do not want a replacement from Assurance Wireless and wish to unsubscribe from the Lifeline plan. I have attempted to contact Assurance at 1-[redacted], but without success. They required my wireless number to speak with a representative, which I do not know how to find nor am I interested in locating it. I simply want to cancel Lifeline through Assurance. Thank you.

I have an Assurance Wireless government phone that I have been using for a few months, and I frequently make calls with it. Approximately a week ago, my phone service was unexpectedly shut off without any valid reason, claiming that I either no longer qualify or don't use the phone enough. Despite customer service assuring me they would fix the issue, it remains unresolved. According to the program, my service is supposed to be free with no monthly bill, so there should be no need for me to reapply or submit any additional paperwork. I simply want my service reactivated and restored to its previous state.

My phone functioned flawlessly for a year until recently when the charging port stopped working. I attempted various chargers and sought assistance from store staff, who confirmed the port is damaged. As I can't use my phone to call support, could you please send a replacement to my address? I live in a nursing home and am on social security. Due to my MCI, using technology is challenging for me. My phone is not allowing me to make calls and prompts me to make a lifeline call every 30 days, mentioning payment for minutes. As I should have free service, I am puzzled by this issue.

Hello, my name is Roger Green. Unfortunately, my phone was stolen shortly after I received it. I have been experiencing homelessness for some time now. Adding to my hardships, I recently attended my best friend's funeral, and in February I lost my son to a drunk driver. I have been overwhelmed with grief and have been feeling very isolated. I have been actively looking for work but now my E.B.T benefits have been stopped, leaving me with no income unless I find odd jobs or rely on others for help. I cannot recall the exact details, but Stronglife of Conover was responsible for supplying me with the phone. Having a phone is crucial for me to secure employment. I am currently borrowing a friend's phone, but this is only a temporary solution. Unfortunately, I am unable to make the journey to Conover due to my current situation. I have been attempting to acquire a new phone since June 16, [redacted]. After experiencing issues with charges, a representative assured me that they would send it to me. However, the delay has been frustrating as I am currently using an old phone that doesn't hold a charge. This is why I am reaching out for assistance. During my encounter with your representative, I expressed my preference for a T-Mobile phone over an unknown brand. Despite my clear choice, after taking my ID and Medi-Cal card at the Food 4 Less parking lot near San Pedro in Los Angeles, California, he activated the unwanted phone. When I protested, he claimed I would need to pay $10 for the T-Mobile phone. Feeling uneasy, I informed him that I would report the incident. However, he handed over the activated phone I did not want and left me with no access to the phone details. I feel my information was mishandled and used without consent, and I still desire the T-Mobile phone I initially requested.

I've been using Assurance Wireless for a while now. Recently, I received emails and text messages saying my account was canceled and needed reapplication.
After reapplying, I received a new phone and set it up as instructed. However, when I tried to make a call, I was told my account was on hold and to contact [redacted].
I tried calling [redacted] and a help line number multiple times but found myself going in circles. Eventually, Assurance Wireless ended the call after following their troubleshooting steps.

Since activating my phone, it has been overheating. The phone I had before this one had touchscreen issues. After contacting Assurance about the problem, I was instructed to return the touchscreen phone, which I did. I then paid $30 for them to send me another phone, the one I am currently using, but it seems to be hacked. I'm upset about the conflicting information I am getting from different agents, leading to delays and additional shipping fees. I have important doctor appointments and this situation has been very frustrating. I am returning the phone today, and I hope others don't face the same challenges. My Samsung phone is displaying "No SIM card" even though it is inserted. I tried using another Samsung SIM card, but the message persists. I have been without a phone for nearly a week and need urgent service. I contacted Assurance customer service at [redacted]-[redacted] and was unable to locate a physical store in my area. Despite Assurance phones supposedly being available at gas stations and malls, I could not find one nearby after searching for 2 hours. When I inquired with T-Mobile as suggested, they had no knowledge of the situation. Given my medical needs and financial circumstances, I would greatly appreciate receiving a new Assurance phone promptly. I own a Model: C6L [redacted] for around 2 months now. Right from when I unboxed the phone, I've been consistently disappointed. It constantly overheats, reaching extreme temperatures and causing it to shut down unexpectedly even during calls or regular use. The battery heats up so much that charging becomes challenging. To charge it, I have to remove the back cover, cool it down with a fan, and then plug it in while it's still being cooled. I believe a replacement from a different manufacturer and model is necessary for me.

I am having trouble activating my phone. The instructions provided do not align with the phone's functions. Each time I call the toll-free number or [redacted], a message states I cannot use the phone due to a lack of mobile service. When I contact support from another phone, they ask for the phone number, which I do not know. In the phone settings under phone info, it shows the phone number as unknown, along with the SIM card information being unknown despite a SIM card being inserted.

I want to address the issues I've been experiencing regarding my phone service. Providing the ACP # for approval should help expedite the process. It would be beneficial to receive warnings about potential service disruptions. Showing courtesy is important, as I recently waited on hold for over 30 minutes only to be disconnected by a representative. I tried to add money to my account as prompted when logging in, but I am still uncertain about my approval status, despite having the ACP #. The phone is also experiencing volume issues during calls, leading me to borrow a friend's phone for important communications. I hope to resolve these matters promptly, especially to access my Gmail accounts associated with this phone number. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently received a text indicating that I qualified for the Lifeline program but then received another message stating that I did not qualify. This has affected my phone service, and I am unable to make or receive calls or texts. I would like my Lifeline service restored and a refund of $20.00, which I paid to Assurance Wireless for service. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. I visited Dorney Park with my children and friends on Thursday, August 24th. Unfortunately, I lost my phone during the visit. I'm trying to fill out the lost and found form, but it requires the serial number/IME number which I don't have as it was on the phone. I recently activated my new phone about a week and a half or two weeks ago. However, today, September 1st, the phone suddenly stopped working and will not charge at all.
