Hello, my name is Ty P. Yesterday at 2:00am, I visited the 7/11 in Carpinteria, Ca. intending to load my American Express Serve Card with $40 to pay a bill. After completing the transaction with the cashier, my account balance remained at $0. Upon calling customer service, I was informed that my card had been locked, preventing the funds from showing up. I was advised to wait and refresh my account, ensuring the funds would be available. Despite following the instructions, the funds still did not appear. After contacting customer service again, I received a different explanation, leading me to believe I have been deceived by American Express. I am now unable to pay my bill and considering seeking legal advice since my interactions at the store were recorded.

Hello! I work at a bank and recently assisted an older gentleman customer who prefers not to complete online applications. He is interested in applying for an American Express credit card through traditional mail. I took his email and promised to research this for him. Could you provide a phone number he can call to request a mailed application? He is a valued high-end customer and obtaining an American Express card would be beneficial. I appreciate your assistance in providing an option for him. Thank you for your help!

I recently made a payment two days late in October [redacted]. Initially, I paid $25.00 and incurred a $25.00 late fee. I contacted customer service to request a fee waiver due to the additional interest charges, but my first request was unsuccessful. After speaking to a clerk, I was informed that my fee had been waived, but I later discovered it was not reflected on my November statement. Following up, a supervisor mentioned reviewing the call recording but did not provide any further updates. When I reached out again, I spoke with Candice, who claimed no promises were made regarding fee waivers or call backs. Despite my positive past experiences with American Express, I am disappointed in the conflicting information provided to me by their representatives. I urge them to review the recorded calls to address the issue of unfulfilled promises.

I have sufficient funds on my card but cannot make a purchase. An Xbox customer care representative advised me to contact my card company to authorize purchases for games or Xbox digital gift cards from Microsoft. Unfortunately, I am unable to speak with a human representative and only encounter automated responses. There should be no issue with making a purchase from the Microsoft store when I have enough funds on my card. Additionally, I would like the unauthorized 50 cents refunded, as there were five unauthorized Google purchases of 10 cents each. I am in need of assistance to speak with an American Express representative to resolve this issue as I am legally able to make the purchase.

I have been a cardmember since [redacted]. With a FICO score of [redacted], I've consistently paid my bills on time, with an annual spending exceeding $[redacted],[redacted]. Last week, I received a letter stating my card was cancelled due to not being used for its intended purpose. This confuses me as I've used it this way for 37 years without any issues. My spending has gradually increased due to higher income, but this sudden cancellation is perplexing since I've always had an unlimited spending limit. None of the usual cancellation reasons apply to me. I kindly request a response before escalating this to the Better Business Bureau. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, J.G., nytriallawyer@[redacted]

Hello, I am a French visitor currently in Los Angeles from December 27, [redacted], to January 12, [redacted]. I am facing difficulties contacting American Express in France with my AT&T prepaid card. Despite dialing +33 before the number, I cannot connect to the service over the phone. Last week, I spoke to an advisor concerning my card's payment limit. I have [redacted] euros remaining out of the [redacted] euros authorized for expenses. The advisor recommended transferring the difference from my French LCL bank account to my American Express card. For this purpose, I need American Express France to provide me with the IBAN code via email to facilitate the transfer. Could you assist me in requesting American Express to send their bank details as an attachment so I can transfer funds from my LCL account to my American Express card? My email address is [redacted] I can be reached via my AT&T Prepaid SIM card at +1 [redacted]. I can communicate in English, although I am not completely fluent. Thank you very much. Dear Customer Support, I am reaching out for assistance regarding my overdue account from May [redacted] due to my current circumstances. I have been struggling financially since losing my alimony and experiencing health issues that prevent me from working. Despite marriage and plans for a business, the pandemic hindered our progress. Now separated from my husband and facing health challenges, I rely on food stamps and help from someone to pay my rent. If possible, reducing my bill by half and removing late fees would greatly aid me. A kind acquaintance has offered to settle the account on my behalf if this arrangement can be made. I am unable to afford large payments, but with understanding and support, I hope we can work together to resolve this matter. Thank you for considering my situation during these difficult times.

I request to be removed from your contact list and cease any further communication. Please dismiss the recent credit report as it was inaccurately generated by a computer. This serves as a caution as I am a practitioner of mystical arts. I urge you to take this warning seriously to avoid adverse consequences. Let's maintain professionalism and avoid such language in the future. Thank you.

I have been trying to obtain a secret code for my wife's gold card without success. Approximately a month ago, I requested her card as an additional one to mine. While my card arrived promptly with a code I provided during sign-up, her card was meant to have the code sent via mail. Despite the postal service operating well in my area and receiving mail regularly, her code has not arrived. After contacting Amex four times, each week for the past month, I have been assured the code was sent again and should arrive shortly. However, this has not been the case. I am looking for an alternative method to receive the code, as something seems to be going wrong each time they claim it has been sent.

Hello, I'm Jenny, and I work for a Tax Prep service. One of our clients recently experienced an account lock on her new Serve card, preventing her from accessing her funds online. Despite numerous attempts over the past 36 hours to contact the Fraud Dept for assistance, we have been consistently placed on hold for long periods, with calls disconnecting after waiting for 2 hours. As a result, we are urgently seeking to unlock the card and restore her access to her money. Our customer's funds are currently inaccessible on the AmEx card due to this issue. Unfortunately, our Franchisee Line has been unable to assist despite multiple attempts. I kindly request your prompt attention to this matter to help resolve the situation for our client. I will be ready to provide her information as soon as I hear back from you. Thank you, Jenny Client Care Manager

My name is Hau Ming Li, and my sister, Man Ming Li, along with her friends Yui Mei Lin, have unknowingly involved me in philanthropic activities for over 7 years without my consent. To my shock, American Express issued numerous credit cards under my name, as well as under my elderly parents', uncles', and grandparents' names, leading to an incredibly low credit score of ......01. Yui Mei Lin, along with her siblings Xiae Mei Lin, Zhe Mei Lin, and their brother, own several Chinese restaurants, PHO restaurants, and a bakery in San Francisco. They have somehow used my identity for financial gain, involving CW actors and actresses, DREAMWORKS personnel, and other individuals in fraudulent activities. My family and I did not authorize any of these actions. I urge for a thorough investigation into the unfair and unethical practices of Yui Mei Lin and her family, including their involvement with registered sex offenders. Additionally, my sister, Man Ming Li, and her brother, Chin Wing Li, have been making credit card payments on my behalf without my knowledge, using Capital One credit cards in balance transfers. This situation has caused immense distress and financial harm. I implore authorities to look into these matters urgently.

I recently canceled a hotel reservation that had free cancellation, and I received my refund. However, I noticed that my loyalty points were not returned as well. Since the points were not used due to the cancellation, I believe they should also be refunded. It seems unfair to be asked to pay an additional $[redacted] for the points after spending thousands of dollars. I kindly request for my loyalty points to be reinstated without any extra charges. Otherwise, I may consider using my Chase card exclusively, which provides superior customer service. - J. McReynolds

I own a gold card and always pay the full balance on my American Express cards. Despite using my everyday card less frequently, I keep receiving upgrade offers to platinum every time I log in. The low $[redacted] limit on my everyday card led me to use it more, only to find my purchases at a store in Mexico called "Soriana" were being categorized as groceries instead of items like bikes for charity. This mislabeling raised concerns for me about overutilization affecting my credit score. I am considering closing my Amex cards even though I aim for an [redacted] credit score. I have already reduced spending on my gold card and removed additional users. The impending $[redacted] charge will prompt me to decide on closing the accounts, despite Amex offering to investigate with a hard inquiry. I prefer avoiding such inquiries this close to reaching my credit score goal. Sincerely, Paul D. - Amex Gold [redacted]

Hi, I am reaching out regarding a matter that has affected me and my family. My name is Hau Ming Li and I recently found out that there have been unauthorized activities involving my personal information. It appears that a group of individuals, including ACTOR Keanu Charles Reeves and others, have used my name and Social Security number to allegedly claim ownership of American Express Credit Card company. They have also supposedly used our details to engage in philanthropic activities without our consent. Despite my attempts to contact American Express executives, I have not received a response so far. I am concerned about the impact this may have had on our credit scores and I am seeking copies of the contracts involved in these transactions. If possible, please provide me with the necessary information via email and do not delete any of my correspondence. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could furnish me with contact numbers for the CEOs. Thank you.

I believe ACTOR Keanu Charles Reeves used my personal information to obtain an American Express Credit Card without my consent. This situation involves Yui Mei Lin, Stan Tang, Stella Lau, Brian Perego, Christopher Wharton, Nina Dobrev, Allison C. Mack, Phong Wong, Man Ming Li, Hugh Michael Jackman, Blake Lively, Lori Renee Denison, Wil Whylip Lee, Robin Wang, Wei Chi, Kim Fong, Madonna, Eliza Patricia Dushku, and Mark Elliott Zuckerberg, who are allegedly involved in unauthorized ownership of American Express. They have been producing an excessive amount of credit cards in my and my family's names, leading to unapproved debts in Europe and the UK. I have been unsuccessful in reaching out to American Express for clarification and require copies of the contracts relating to ownership and misuse of my information. I am also concerned about our credit scores. Please respond via email and provide CEO contact details. Thank you.

The email you received about your American Express card being temporarily suspended in Mexico appears to be a scam. Please be cautious and do not click on any links or provide personal information. It's best to verify the authenticity of such emails directly with American Express using the contact details on their official website. Stay safe online!

I am experiencing difficulties activating the customer service gift cards at the gift card counter. Can someone please get in touch with me to provide guidance on the next steps? Four customers have encountered issues after activation, and their receipts are linked to their rewards and phone numbers on Walgreens.com. I believe the recent electrical charging work in the vicinity might be causing banking difficulties. Kindly advise me on the appropriate course of action. Unfortunately, the phone lines are down, making it impossible for me to activate the next gift card. Thank you for your help.

I recently received an American Express gift card with $[redacted]. It was a gift from Phil Schultz from Escondido, CA. Unfortunately, the card is defective as it is missing the complete 15-digit number and the 4-digit pin. These crucial details were never printed on the card. This oversight has made it impossible for me to activate or use the card and reference it to customer service. I'm unsure how to resolve this issue and access the funds.
